ATTENTION!

DANGER!
Never operate this unit when flammable materials or vapors
are present because electrical devices produce arcs or
sparks that can cause a fire or explosion. NEVER OPERATE
UNATTENDED.
If your Shop-Vac Air Mover ever needs repair or maintenance during
the warranty period or any time thereafter, there are Authorized Shop-
Vac Service Centres located across the country (please see the enclosed
separate pamphlet).
Do not attempt to service your Shop-Vac Air Mover beyond that
described in the User Manual. For all other servicing, please refer to a
qualified Shop-Vac Service Centre.
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

1. Do not leave appliance when
plugged in. Unplug from outlet
when not in use and before
servicing.
2. Do not expose to water or rain –
store indoors.
3. Do not allow to be used as a toy.
Close attention is necessary when
used by or near children.
4. Use only as described in this
manual. Use only manufacturer’s
recommended attachments.
5. Do not operate Air Mover with
damaged cord or plug.
6. Do Not: pull or carry by cord, use
cord as a handle, close door on
cord or pull cord around sharp
edges or corners. Do not run
appliance over cord. Keep cord
away from heated surfaces.
7. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To
unplug, grasp the plug; not the
cord.
8. Do not handle plug or appliance
with wet hands.
9. Do not put any object into openings.
Do not use with any opening
blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair
and anything that may reduce air
flow.
10. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers
and all parts of body away from
openings and moving parts.
11. Turn off all controls before
unplugging.
12. WARNING! To avoid injury or
property damage: do not use
around explosive liquids or vapors,
as electrical devices produce arcs
or sparks, which can cause a fire or
explosion.
13. Do not store or use near flammable
or combustible liquids such as
gasoline, toxic, carcinogenic,
combustible or hazardous materials
such as asbestos, arsenic, barium,
beryllium, lead, pesticides or other
health endangering materials.

LIMITED TWO-YEAR WARRANTY
Shop-Vac warrants the air mover for two years from the date of purchase to correct by repair or parts replacement without charge, any
product defect due to faulty material or workmanship provided that the air mover is not used for rental service. This warranty does not
cover accessories. Simply return the complete unit, (transportation prepaid), to the Authorized Shop-Vac Service Centre nearest you (a complete
list of Authorized Shop-Vac Service Centres is included with each air mover). Shop-Vac assumes no responsibility for damage or faulty
performance caused by misuse or careless handling, or where repairs have been made or attempted by others. Proof of purchase date is
required. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.Our goods come with
guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for
compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail
to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

OPERATING. UNPLUG UNIT WHEN NOT IN USE.

14. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do
not cover cord with throw rugs,
runners, or similar coverings.
Arrange cord away from traffic area
and where it will not be tripped
over.
15. Operation of this unit can result in
foreign objects being blown into
eyes, which can result in eye
damage. Always wear safety
goggles when operating Air Mover.
16. STAY ALERT, Watch what you are
doing and use common sense.
17. Do not use an extension cord with
this Air Mover.
18. This appliance can be used by
children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in
a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not
play with the appliance.
19. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children
without supervision.
20. If the supply cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified person in order to
avoid a hazard.
21. The plug must be removed from the
socket-outlet before cleaning or
maintaining the appliance.
DOUBLE INSULATION
Do not operate if cord, plug or appliance is damaged. In your double insulated appliance, two systems of insulation are provided instead of
grounding. No grounding means is provided nor should a means for grounding be added to the appliance.
NOTE: If power cord needs to be replaced, use only a Shop-Vac Service Agent.

OPERATION
Follow these instructions to operate your air mover:
1. Unpack air mover from carton.
2. To use your unit, place the unit in the area most suitable for your application. Several factors need to be considered; the unit must be placed
close enough to an AC outlet to be plugged in, there must be a minimum clearance of two feet from either side of the unit to allow for proper
air flow, and the unit should not be placed where it can become a tripping or safety hazard.
3. Place unit in the proper operating position for your application. Refer to the Operating Positions section in this manual.
4. Plug unit into the wall.
5. Turn unit on and select air speed by turning the switch, located near the top handle, clockwise.
6. When your drying job is completed, turn the unit off and follow the directions for Storage in this manual.

WITH ANY SOLID-STATE SPEED CONTROL DEVICE.
OPERATING POSITIONS
The air mover may be set in one of three operating positions. Pick the position best suited for your application.
1. Use the down position (Figure 1) for applications such as; drying wet floors, shampooed carpets, etc. To use this position simply place unit
on its base.
2. Use the angle position (Figure 2) for applications such as, drying plaster on walls or drying wet furniture. To use this position, tilt unit
backwards so it rests on the support.
3. Use the up position for applications such as; drying paint on the ceiling. To use this position, lay the unit on the back side with the front grill
pointing towards the ceiling (Figure 3).
CLEANING

LUBRICATION
WARNING -
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY FROM THE AIR MOVER ACCIDENTALLY STARTING,
UNPLUG POWER CORD BEFORE CLEANING.
The outside of the unit may be cleaned with a damp cloth to remove any dust or residue.
WARNING -
BE SURE TO DISCONNECT POWER SUPPLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO SERVICE OR
REMOVE ANY COMPONENTS.
Do not attempt to service your air mover beyond that described in the user manual.
No lubrication is necessary as the motor is equipped with lifetime lubricated bearings.

1. Before storing your air mover it should be cleaned. For cleaning instructions, refer to the Cleaning section in this manual.
2. Wrap the power cord around the carry handle on the top of the unit to keep it untangled (Figure 4).
3. If you have more then one unit to store they may be stored by stacking them. Stack the units by placing them on their sides making sure the
indented side is facing down (Figure 5). Do not stack the units more then 4 high. Never operate the unit while it is on its side or stacked. THE
AIR MOVER SHOULD BE STORED INDOORS.
