IMPORTANT!: Thisswitch israted forand intended to onlybe used with copperwire. Wire Gauge Requirements

Wirestriplength:
Forattachment toscrewterminals: Stripinsulation 1", Forattachment using the enclosure sholes: Strip

6. Connect the black wirethat goestothe light tothe terminalmarked Load.
7. Connect the black wirethat comesfromthe electricalservicepanel(Hot)tothe terminalmarked Lin.
8. Connect the whitewiretothe neutralterminalmarked Nin(usejumperwireif needed).
9. Insert Switchintothe switchboxbeing carefulnot topinchorcrushwires.
10. Securethe Switchtothe boxusing the supplied screws.
11. Mount the wall plate.

12. Reapplypowertothe circuit at fuseboxorcircuit breakerand test the system.
BasicOperation
The connected light can be turned ON/OFF intwoways,
1. Manuallyfromthe front button of the In-wall Switch
2. RemotelywithaZ-WaveController

The Front button allowsthe userto:
TurnON/OFF the connected fixture.
Toturnthe connected fixtureON: Press the Uppushbutton.
Toturnthe connected fixtureOFF: Press the Downpushbutton.
2. Linking yourZ-Wavedevice
Resetswitchtofactorydefault:
Usecontrollertoremovedevicefromnetworkwill reset it tofactorydefault.
Adding device intothenetwork:
1. Followthe instructionsforyourZ-Wavecertified controllertoinclude adevicetothe Z-Wavenetwork.
2. Oncethe controllerisreadytoinclude yourdevice, triplepress the Up/Downpushbutton toinclude it
inthe network.
3. Onceyourcontrollerhasconfirmed that the devicehasbeen included, refreshthe Z-Wavenetworkto
optimizeperformance.
4. The deviceisassociated inthe samegroup when it included insettingprocess.Nowyou can controlyour
Z-Wavedeviceaccordingtogroups, scenes, schedulesand automation programmed. Ifyourcontroller
featuresremoteaccess, you can nowcontrolall devicesinZ-Wavenetworkfrommobiledevices.
