INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of Therm-ic
PowerGloves. Please read these instructions carefully
before using the gloves for the first time. Keep these
instructions carefully and make sure other users are
familiar with them.
CONTENTS OF THE PACKAGING
• 1 pair of PowerGloves
• 1 pair of Lithium-ion dual batteries - rechargeable
• 1 USB charger cable Therm-ic for integrated system
• Optional: wall plug universal charger (with adaptors
for use in dierent countries)
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• This device is not suitable for people (including
children) of reduced physical, sensory or
intellectual capacity or for use by inexperienced
and/or unknowledgeable people unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety
or who has provided them with instructions on how
to use it.
• Supervise children to ensure they do not play with
the device.
• If you are unable to feel hot or cold temperatures
accurately (diabetic or disabled users, etc.), consult
a doctor before using the device.
• Check regularly that no redness appears on your
fingers. There is a risk of burns in the case of
exposure to excessive heat for a prolonged period.

Consequently, children must only use this device
under the supervision of a responsible adult.
• This device must not be used to warm animals.
• The pockets protect the batteries from splashes.
Once attached to the gloves, the batteries must
remain connected to the connection cords
whenever the gloves are worn outside, firstly
to prevent moisture and dirt from entering the
connection point and power supply socket and
secondly to prevent the battery case from being
opened accidentally.
• Use only the Therm-ic USB charger supplied to
charge the batteries.
• Do not wear the gloves while the batteries are
charging.
• Do not insert metal or other objects into the
connectors or the USB charger as this may damage
the device.
• If you discover that the connection cords, batteries
or other parts of the glove are damaged, the
heating function must not be used. After removal
of the batteries, the gloves can be used as ordinary
gloves.
• Never attempt to remove the protective film
enclosing the batteries! There is a danger of
explosion if the lithium-ion batteries are handled
inappropriately.
• Batteries whose protective film has been damaged
must not be used and must be disposed of as soon
as possible.
• Do not modify this device and do not use it for any
purpose other than that for which it is intended.
The parts of the device and its connection cords
should be repaired by the manufacturer only.
• If you have a question or if a problem arises with
the device, please contact your retailer or the
manufacturer.
• Dispose of used batteries as required by the
regulations in your area.
• Do not throw batteries into a fire–risk of explosion!
• The gloves must never be machine washed or hand
washed.
• The drying temperature must not exceed 40°C
/ 104°F. Never dry the PowerGloves in a tumble
dryer or on a radiator.

FIRST USE AND CHARGING THE BATTERIES
The batteries must be charged before first use.
Please ensure that the Powergloves are switched OFF
while charging.
1. Plug in the USB cable. The charge indicator light
(2.1) will light up green. Next, plug the two gloves
connectors (1.4) into the charger (2.5). Charging

will start automatically and the charge indicator
light (2.1) turns red and remains on during charging.
2. When the batteries are fully charged, the charging
process will stop automatically and the LEDs in the
charge indicator light (2.1) will turn green again.
3. Unplug the two PowerGloves connectors from the
USB charger.
4. Zip up the PowerGloves.
Charging time is approximately 6-8hours.
Note that at half time of the charging time
mentioned above, the battery is already charged at
around 75% of its maximum capacity (fast charging
process). Lab test done using Therm-ic USB wall plug
universal charger (optional).
Important advice:
• Recharge the batteries after each use to keep
them in good condition and to ensure the Therm-ic
PowerGloves are always ready for use.
• Each battery is made up of lithium-ion cells.
It can be recharged in any state of charge.
Consequently, it is not necessary to discharge
the batteries completely before recharging.
Important:
Never try to open a battery pack! There is a danger
of explosion if the lithium-ion batteries are handled
inappropriately. There is also a danger of damaging
the electronic components of the PowerGloves.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND DESCRIPTION
OF FUNCTIONS
The Therm-ic PowerGloves have four modes:
OFF and LEVELS 1, 2 and 3.
These modes are indicated by a heating speed
indicator light (1.1). The number of LED flashes
displayed indicates the heating level selected.
The heating setting of the Therm-ic PowerGloves can
be set to 3 dierent levels (level1, level2 and level3)
using the control zone, which consists of a single
button (1.2). The Therm-ic PowerGloves are o when
the LED heating level indicator light is not lit.

Turning the device ON:
Press and hold down the function button (1.2) (for
approx. 3seconds) to set the Therm-ic PowerGloves
to the lowest heating level. If the button is pressed
for more than 6seconds, the gloves will go into
safety mode and switch o.
Changing the heat setting:
Pressing the function button once (for approx.
1second) will increase the heating setting (level1,
level2 or level3).
• Level 1: 1 flash, low heating setting.
• Level 2: 2 flashes, medium heating setting.
• Level 3: constant light, high heating setting.
Turning the device OFF:
To switch o the Therm-ic PowerGloves, press and
hold the function button (1.2) (for 3 seconds, until the
heating level indicator light switches o).
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• Charge the batteries before each use.
• When switching on the Therm-ic PowerGloves, do
not leave them set to level 3 for more than a few
minutes; continuous use at this setting risks raising
the temperature excessively and may cause burns.
• Always set the Therm-ic PowerGloves to the
level1 or level2 setting to keep your fingers at
a comfortable temperature (the warming eect
should be practically imperceptible).
• The optimum heating temperature is reached when
the gloves are dry.

Measurements made under laboratory conditions
directly on the heating element. The heating duration
per charge depends on the heating level selected, the
ambient temperature, the age of the batteries and
their charge level.

STORAGE AND CARE OF THE BATTERIES
To prolong the life of the batteries, we recommend
you charge them to half capacity and then store
them in a cool place (at 5°C / 41°F to 20°C / 68°F).
During storage, the batteries must not be connected
to either the glove or the USB charger.
Avoid prolonged periods when the batteries are
not in use. If storing the batteries for long periods,
discharge them and then recharge them fully every
6months (for approx. 2hours). Correct storage of
the battery packs will maintain their power level and
life for longer.
DRYING AND CLEANING THE GLOVES
The drying temperature must not exceed 40 °C /
104 °F. Never dry the PowerGloves in a tumble dryer
or on a radiator. For optimum drying, we recommend
the Therm-ic Refresher or the Therm-ic Dryer. For
more information, see the website www.therm-ic.com
or your local specialist retailer.
When the gloves become dirty, clean them with a
damp cloth or a clothes brush. The gloves must never
be machine washed or hand washed.

DISPOSAL
When the gloves reach the end of their life cycle,
dispose of them with their packaging in accordance
with applicable environmental protection regulations
and laws.
The batteries must be removed from the gloves and
disposed of at a suitable collection point. For further
information, contact the authorities.
SPARE PARTS
If you wish to purchase spare parts at a later
date, you must specify the exact Therm-ic model
concerned. We recommend that you take the part to
be replaced to your retailer.
These instructions may be subject to change.
This product complies with the applicable laws and
directives.

GUARANTEE
As the manufacturer we guarantee for this product
for a period of two years after the date of purchase.
Within this guarantee period we will remedy any
defects arising from faulty material or manufacture,
free of charge, either by repairing or exchanging the
device at our discretion.
The following are not included in the guarantee :
damage caused by improper use; normal wear and
tear with only minor impact on the value or usability
of the device.
The guarantee becomes null and void if the device

INLEDNING

Läs noga igenom bruksanvisningen innan du

• Om du upptäcker att kablarna, batterierna
eller andra delar av handsken är skadade, får
värmefunktionen inte längre användas. Då
batterierna tagits ut, kan handsken användas som
en vanlig handske.
• Försök inte öppna batteriernas skyddsfilm! Det
finns en explosionsrisk om litiumjonbatterierna
hanteras olämpligt!
• Batterier vars skyddsfilm har skadats får inte längre
användas och ska bortskaas så fort som möjligt.
• Ändra inte denna artikel och använd den endast
för de ändamål den är avsedd för. Apparatens
komponenter eller kopplingskablar ska repareras
endast av tillverkaren.
• Om du har frågor eller problem, vänd dig till
återförsäljaren eller till tillverkaren.
• Uttjänta batterier ska bortskaas enligt gällande

IGÅNGSÄTTNING OCH LADDNING AV BATTERIERNA
Batterierna måste laddas före den första
användningen!
1 Anslut USB-kabeln. Laddningslampan (2.1) lyser
grönt. Anslut sedan de två kontaktstyckena för
handskarna till laddaren (2.5). PowerGloves kan
vara i vilket driftsläge som helst då laddningen
startas. Laddningen startar automatiskt och
laddningsindikatorn tänds i rött (2.1) och lyser under
laddningen.
2 Då batterierna är fulladdade, avslutas laddningen
automatiskt och laddningslampan (2.1) blir grön.
3 Koppla loss de två kontaktstyckena för
PowerGloves ur USB-laddaren.
4 Stäng blixtlåset på PowerGloves.
Laddningstiden är cirka 6-8 timmar.
Lägg märke till att vid hälften av ovannämnda
laddningstid batteriet redan har laddats till cirka
75% av sin maximala kapacitet (snabb laddning).
Test i laboratorium utfört med den universella USB-
laddaren från Therm-ic (i tillval).

Viktiga råd:
• Ladda upp batterierna efter varje användning för
att hålla dem i skick och kunna använda Therm-ic
PowerGloves precis när du vill.
• Batteriet består av litiumjonceller. Det kan laddas upp
i vilket tillstånd som helst. Därför behöver det inte
längre laddas ur fullständigt, innan det laddas upp.
Varning:
Försök aldrig öppna ett batteripaket!
Det finns en explosionsrisk om litiumjonbatterierna
hanteras olämpligt! Du riskerar dessutom att skada
elektroniken i PowerGloves.
ANVÄNDNINGSSÄTT OCH BESKRIVNING
AV FUNKTIONERNA
Handskarna Therm-ic PowerGloves har fyra
funktionslägen: AV - NIVÅER 1,2,3.
Dessa funktionslägen signaleras av en indikator
som visar värmeeekten, där antalet blinkningar
motsvarar önskad värmenivå. Uppvärmningseekten
i Therm-ic PowerGloves kan ställas in på 3 nivåer
(level1, level2, level3), tack vare en manöverzon
med en enda knapp (1.2). Therm-ic PowerGloves är
avstängda när dioden för värmenivå är avstängd.
PÅ (ON)
Tryck länge (ca 3 sekunder) på funktionsknappen
för att ställa in Therm-ic PowerGloves på lägsta
värmenivån. Efter 6 sekunders tryckning övergår
knappen till säkerhetsläge och släcks.
Inställningar
• Varje tryckning (ca 1 sekund) på funktionsknappen
ökar värmeeekten (Level1, Level 2, Level 3).
• Nivå 1 (Level 1): 1 blinkning, låg värmeeekt..
• Nivå 2 (Level 2): 2 blinkningar, medelhög
värmeeekt.
• Nivå 3 (Level 3): Fast sken, hög värmeeekt.
AV (OFF)
Stäng av Therm-ic PowerGloves genom att trycka
länge (3 sekunder) på funktionsknappen ända tills
indikatorn för värmenivå släcks.

VIKTIGA ANVÄNDNINGSRÅD
• Ladda upp batterierna före varje användning.
• Låt inte nivå 3 vara aktiverad i mer än några minuter vid
igångsättningen; en kontinuerlig användning kan leda
till en mycket hög temperatur och orsaka brännskador.
• Ställ alltid in Therm-ic PowerGloves på nivå 1 eller
2 för att behålla en behaglig värme för fingrarna
(värmen ska vara nästan omärkbar).
• Optimal uppvärmningstemperatur har nåtts när
handskarna är torra.

Mätning utförd i laboratorieförhållanden, direkt

UNDERHÅLL, FÖRVARING OCH SKÖTSEL AV BATTERIERNA
För att förlänga batteriernas livslängd
rekommenderar vi att ladda upp dem halvvägs och
förvara dem på en sval plats (5°C/41°F-20°C/68°F).
Under förvaringen får batterierna inte vara anslutna
till handsken eller USB-laddaren.
Undvik långa förvaringsperioder. Om förvaringen blir
lång, kom ihåg att ladda ur batterierna och sedan
ladda upp dem helt var 6:e månad (ca 3 tim)!
En lämplig förvaring av batterierna gör det möjligt
att uppnå maximal eekt och livslängd.
TORKNING OCH RENGÖRING AV HANDSKARNA
Torkningstemperaturen får inte vara högre än
40°C/104°F: torka inte PowerGloves i en torktumlare
eller på ett värmeelement. För en optimal torkning
rekommenderar vi Thermic Refresher eller Thermic
Dryer. Mer information får du på webbplatsen www.
therm-ic. com och av din specialiserade återförsäljare.
När handskarna är smutsiga ska du rengöra dem
med en fuktad tygduk eller eventuellt en klädborste.
Handskarna får under inga omständigheter tvättas i
maskin eller för hand.

BORTSKAFFNING
När handskarna når slutet av sin livscykel, ska
bortskaningen av dem och deras förpackning ske
enligt gällande bestämmelser i fråga om miljövård.
Batterierna ska tas ur handsken och lämnas in på ett
insamlingsställe för dylikt avfall. Mer information får
du av behöriga myndigheter.
RESERVDELAR
Om du vid en senare tidpunkt köper reservdelar,
behöver du veta det exakta namnet på den Therm-ic
modell du har. Den bästa lösningen är att ta med den
del som ska bytas till återförsäljaren. Med förbehåll
för ändringar. Denna produkt överensstämmer med
gällande lagar och direktiv.
GARANTI
I egenskap av tillverkare garanterar vi denna produkt
under en period på två år efter inköpsdatumet.
Inom denna garantiperiod åtgärdar vi kostnadsfritt
defekter orsakade av material- eller fabrikationsfel,

genom att reparera eller byta ut enheten enligt vår
bedömning.
Följande täcks inte av garantin: skada orsakad av
felaktig användning; normalt slitage med föga eekt
på enhetens värde eller användbarhet.
Garantirättigheterna upphör om enheten ändras
