Sika® SmartCut
Sika® SmartCut is a very light and simple to use windshield cut out tool.
Due to its small size it can be used for windshields, backlights and also quarter lights.
Thanks to it’s compatibility with steel wire (SmartCut Wire) and PE fiber (SmartCut Fiber)
it can be used on all types of windshields.

en OPERATING INSTRUCTION
1.) Protect the car body with tape. Pierce the existing adhesive with the awl, preferably in one of
the bottom corners. n2.) Fix the wire/fiber to the awl and pull it inside. Pull 1 x the diagonal length
of the windshield inside. n3.) Place the wire/fiber completely around the windshield. Make sure it
is positioned at the place of the existing adhesive. Lock the wire/fiber in the reel. n4.) Place the
wire/fiber on the SmartCut. Position the SmartCut at the corner of the windshield as shown. Wind
up the wire/fiber using the ratchet lever. n5.) Wind up the wire/fiber to a maximum angle of 80°
to the cutting direction. Cut carefully around the corner. n6.) Move the Sika® SmartCut to the next
corner, release the wire/fiber to reposition. Repeat the process. n7.) Continue as shown until the
adhesive is cut completely. Remark: It may happen that the resistance on some spots will get
higher. On those spots it helps to saw with the lever. This will cause sawing on the wire/fiber and
the spot will release easier.
de ANWENDUNGSEMPFEHLUNG
1.) Angrenzende Karosserie mit Klebeband schützen. Mit Stechahle den Scheibenklebstoff in eine
der unteren Ecken durchstechen. n2.) Schnur/Draht an der Ahle befestigen und auf Länge einer
Scheiben-Diagonale in den Innenraum ziehen. n3.) Schnur/Draht komplett um die Scheibe legen.
Auf Positionierung an der Kleberaupe achten. Schnur/Draht in der Spule fixieren. n4.) Schnur/
Draht am Sika® SmartCut befestigen und in der Ecke platzieren. Schnur/Draht mittels Ratschen-
hebel aufrollen. n5.) Schnur/Draht bis zu einem maximalen Winkel von 80° in Schneidrichtung
aufspulen. In den Ecken vorsichtig schneiden. n6.) Das Sika® SmartCut entlasten, in die nächste
Ecke platzieren und den Vorgang fortsetzen. n7.) Fortfahren bis der Scheibenklebstoff komplett
durchtrennt ist. Hinweis: Bei punktuell höheren Widerständen den Ratschenhebel leicht vor- und
rückwärts bewegen, um Sägewirkung zu erreichen.

1.) Protéger la carrosserie de la voiture avec du ruban adhésif. Percer le cordon de colle existant
avec l’aiguille d‘amorce, de préférence dans l’un des coins inférieurs. n2.) Fixer le câble à l‘aiguille
d‘amorce et le tirer à l’intérieur. Tirer 1 x la longueur de la diagonale du pare-brise à l’intérieur.
n3.) Placer le câble complètement autour du pare-brise. Assurez-vous qu’il est positionné à
l’endroit du cordon de colle existant. Verrouiller le câble dans la bobine. n4.) Placer le câble sur le
Sika® SmartCut. Positionner le Sika® SmartCut à l’angle du pare-brise comme indiqué. Enrouler le
câble en utilisant le levier à cliquet. n5.) Enrouler le câble jusqu’à un angle maximal de 80° par
rapport au sens de coupe. Couper soigneusement autour du coin. n6.) Déplacer le Sika® SmartCut
vers le coin suivant, relâcher le câble pour le repositionner. Répéter le processus. n7.) Continuer
comme indiqué jusqu’à ce que le cordon de colle soit complètement coupé. Remarque: Il se peut que
la résistance sur certains points devienne plus élevée. A ces endroits, s’aider du levier. Cela coupera
le cordon sur le câble libérant la zone plus facilement.
it ISTRUZIONI OPERATIVE
1.) Proteggere con nastro la carrozzeria. Forare l’adesivo esistente con il punteruolo, preferibilmen-
te in uno degli angoli in basso. n2.) Fissare il filo al punteruolo e trascinarlo all’interno. Tirare fino a
raggiungere la lunghezza della diagonale interna del parabrezza. n3.) Mettere tutto il filo intorno
al parabrezza. Assicurarsi che sia posizionato nella sede dell’adesivo esistente. Bloccare il filo nella
bobina. n4.) Inserire il filo nello Sika® SmartCut. Posizionare lo Sika® SmartCut in corrispondenza
dell’angolo del parabrezza, come illustrato. Avvolgere il filo utilizzando la leva a cricchetto.
n5.) Avvolgere il filo fino ad un angolo massimo di 80° nella direzione del taglio. Tagliare accurata-
mente intorno all’angolo. n6.) Spostare Sika® SmartCut nell’angolo successivo, rilasciare il filo da
riposizionare. Ripetere la procedura. n7.) Continuare come illustrato fino a quando l’adesivo è
completamente tagliato. Nota: Può accadere che la resistenza di alcuni punti sia notevole. In questi
punti può essere utile tagliare utilizzando una leva. Questo permetterà di segare col filo e l’adesivo
sarà più semplice da tagliare.

1.) Protege la carrocería con cinta adhesiva. Perfora el adhesivo existente con el punzón, preferible-
mente en una de las esquinas inferiores. n2.) Fija el alambre al punzón y colócalo dentro. Coloca
el tamaño equivalente a la diagonal del parabrisas dentro. n3.) Coloca el alambre completamente
alrededor del parabrisas. Asegúrate de que está colocado en el lugar del adhesivo existente.
Fija el alambre en el rollo. n4.) Coloca el alambre en el Sika® SmartCut. Posiciona el Sika® SmartCut
en la esquina del parabrisas como muestra el dibujo. Posiciona el alambre con la palanca.
n5.) A continuación, posiciona el alambre con ángulo máximo de 80° hacia la dirección de corte.
Corta con cuidado alrededor de la esquina. n6.) Mueve el Sika® SmartCut a la siguiente esquina,
suelta el alambre hasta su posición anterior. Repite el proceso. n7.) Continúa como muestra el
dibujo hasta que cortes todo el adhesivo. Observación: es posible que la resistencia en algunos

1.) Proteja a carroçaria do automóvel com fita. Perfure o adesivo existente com o furador, preferen-
cialmente num dos cantos inferiores. n2.) Fixe o cabo/fibra ao perfurador e puxe o mesmo para o
interior da viatura. Puxe para o interior a dimensão da diagonal do vidro. n3.) Posicione o cabo/fibra
completamente à volta do pára-brisas. Certifique-se que o posicionamento foi feito junto ao
adesivo existente. Bloqueie o cabo/fibra na bobina. n4.) Coloque o cabo/fibra no Sika® SmartCut.
Posicione o Sika® SmartCut no canto do pára-brisas conforme a imagem. Enrole o cabo/fibra
utilizando o roquete. n5.) Enrole o cabo/fibra até a um ângulo máximo de 80° em relação à direcção
de corte. Corte cuidadosamente à volta do canto. n6.) Mova o Sika® SmartCut para o canto
seguinte, solte ligeiramente o cabo/fibra para permitir o reposicionamento. Repita o processo de
corte. n7.) Continue como mostrado até ao adesivo estar completamente cortado. Nota: Pode
acontecer que a resistência em algumas zonas seja maior. Nessas zonas, “serrar” com a alavanca do
roquete pode ajudar a libertar mais facilmente o cabo/fibra.

1.) Bescherm de carrosserie met tape. Doorboor de bestaande lijmlaag met de priem, bij voorkeur
in één van de hoeken in de bodem. n2.) Verbind het koord/fiber met de priem en trek het naar
binnen. Trek éénmaal de diagonale lengte van de ruit naar binnen. n3.) Plaats het koord/fiber
geheel om de ruit. Verzeker je ervan dat het is geplaatst op de plek van de bestaande kitlaag. Sluit
het koord/fiber op in de haspel. n4.) Plaats het koord/fiber op de Sika® SmartCut. Plaats de
Sika® SmartCut in de hoek van de ruit, zoals weergegeven. Rol het koord/fiber op door gebruik
te maken van ratel-hendel. n5.) Rol het koord/fiber op tot een maximale hoek van 80° in de
snijrichting. Snij voorzichtig om de hoek heen. n6.) Verplaats de Sika® SmartCut naar de volgende
hoek, laat het koord/fiber los om te herplaatsen. Herhaal het proces. n7.) Ga door als aangegeven
totdat de lijmlaag volledig is doorgesneden. Opmerking: het kan voorkomen dat de weerstand
op sommige plekken hoger is. Op deze plekken help het om met behulp van de hendel te zagen. Dit
heeft tot gevolg dat het koord/fiber gezaagd wordt en zo zal de plek makkelijker loskomen.

1.) Szalaggal védjük az autót. Lyukasszuk ki a meglévő ragasztót, lehetőleg valamelyik alsó
sarokban. n2.) Rögzítsük a vezetéket/üvegszálat az árhoz és húzzuk be. Húzzuk az átmérőjének
megfelelő hosszan egyszer a szélvédőre belülről. n3.) Helyezzük a vezetéket/üvegszálat teljesen a
szélvédőre. Győződjünk meg róla, hogy a vezeték/üvegszál a meglévő ragasztón van. Zárjuk
tekercsbe. n4.) Helyezzük a vezetéket/üvegszálat a SmartCutra. Igazítsuk úgy a SmartCutot,
hogy a szélvédő sarkában legyen (ahogy az ábrán is látjuk). Tekerjük fel a vezetéket/üvegszálat egy
racsnis karral. n5.) Tekerjük fel a vezetéket/üvegszálat legfeljebb 80°-ban a vágási irányban.
Óvatosan vágjuk körbe a sarkán. n6.) Helyezzük a Sika® SmartCutot a következő sarokba,
engedjük el a vezetéket/üvegszálat, és ismételjük meg a folyamatot. n7.) Folytassuk, ahogy az
ábrán is látjuk, ameddig a ragasztó teljesen le lesz vágva. Megjegyzés: Előfordulhat, hogy néhány
ponton magasabb ellenállásba ütközünk. Ezen pontokban segít, ha emelőrúddal aláfűrészelünk. Így
a pont könnyebben elengedi a ragasztót.

1.) Protejaţi caroseria cu bandă de hârtie. Perforaţi cordonul existent de adeziv cu o sulă, recoman-
dabil într-un colţ din partea inferioară. n2.) Fixaţi firul de oţel în sulă și trageţi-l în interior. Trageţi
fir de oţel de lungimea diagonalei parbrizului la interior. n3.) Fixaţi firul de oţel complet în
interiorul parbrizului. Asiguraţi-vă că este pozitionat în cordonul de adeziv existent. Blocaţi firul de
oţel în mâner. n4.) Poziţionaţi firul de oţel în Sika® SmartCut. Pozitionaţi Sika® SmartCut-ul în
colţul parbrizului ca în imagine. Înfășuraţi firul folosind pârghia cu clichet. n5.) Înfășuraţi firul la un
unghi maxim de 80° faţă de direcţia de tăiere. Tăiaţi cu atenţie în jurul colţului. n6.) Mutaţi
Sika® SmartCut la următorul colţ, eliberaţi firul de oţel pentru repoziţionare. Repetaţi procesul.
n7.) Continuaţi ca mai sus până când adezivul este complet tăiat. Observaţie: Se poate întâmpla
să întâmpinaţi o rezistenţă mai mare în unele puncte. În aceste puncte ajută să folosiţi pârghia
pentru a tăia. Astfel, firul de oţel va fi eliberat mai ușor.

1.) Zabezpieczyć karoserię taśmą. Przebić szpicakiem istniejący klej, najlepiej w jednym z istnieją-
cych naroży. n2.) Zamocować drut / linkę do szpicaka i wcisnąć w miejsce przebicia. Wciągnąć do
środka długość 1 przekątnej szyby. n3.) Umieścić drut / linkę wokół całej szyby. Upewnić się, że
jest umieszczony w istniejącym kleju. Zablokować drut / linkę na rolce. n4.) Umieścić drut / linkę w
Sika® SmartCut. Ustawić Sika® SmartCut w narożniku szyby jak pokazano na rysunku. Nawijać drut /
linkę przy użyciu dźwigni z grzechotką. n5.) Nawijać drut / linkę przy maksymalnym kącie 80° w
stosunku do kierunku cięcia. Ostrożnie wycinać w narożnikach. n6.) Przesunąć Sika® SmartCut do
następnego narożnika, zwolnić drut / linkę do zmiany położenia. Powtórzyć proces wycinania.
n7.) Kontynuować do całkowitego wycięcia. Uwaga: może się zdarzyć, iż w niektórych miejscach
będzie występował większy opór. W tych miejscach należy zastosować do wycinania dźwignię.
Ułatwi to wycinanie drutem / linką kleju w tych miejscach.

ИНСТРУКЦИЯ ПО ПРИМЕНЕНИЮ
1.) Защитите кузов автомобиля пленкой. Проколите упаковку клея/герметика шилом предпо-
чтительно в одном из нижних углов.
n 2.) Прикрепите проволоку/нить к шилу и протолкните ее
внутрь. Протяните 1 раз проволоку/нить внутрь на диагональную длину лобового стекла.
n
3.) Обмотайте проволоку/нить полностью вокруг лобового стекла. Убедитесь, что она точно
расположена в зоне существующего клея. Закрепите проволоку/нить в катушке.
n
4.) Поместите проволоку/нить на Sika® SmartCut. Положение Sika® SmartCut в углу лобового
стекла показано на рисунке. Намотайте проволоку/нить с помощью храпового рычага
n
5.) При наматывании держите проволоку/нить под максимальным углом 80 ° по отношению к
направлению резания. Аккуратно режьте вокруг угла.
n 6.) Поместите Sika® SmartCut в
следующий угол и отпустите проволоку/нить для изменения ее положения. Повторите процесс.
n
7.) Продолжайте, как указано, пока весь клей не будет полностью вырезан. Примечание:
возможно, что в некоторых местах потребуются более высокие усилия, чем обычно. В этих
местах поможет распиловка с рычагом. В этом случае распилите провод/нить и пятно будет
леггче вырезать.
