The operating instructions are part of this product.
They contain important information about safety,
usage and disposal. Before using the product,
please familiarise yourself with all the operating
and safety instructions. Use the product only as
described and for the specified areas of application.
Please also pass these operating instructions on to
any future owner.
Intended use
This appliance is exclusively intended for the
production of bread, dough, yoghurt or jam in
dry indoor rooms in private households.
Do not use the appliance for drying foods or other
objects.
Do not use the appliance in commercial or in-
dustrial areas.
Any other use or use beyond the scope described
in these instructions shall be deemed improper.

Unpacking
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Do not allow children to play with packaging
materials. Risk of suffocation!
1) Unpack the appliance and remove all packaging
materials as well as any stickers and protective
films from the appliance.
2) Check the package for completeness and signs
of visible damage. If the delivery is incomplete
or damage has occurred as a result of defective
packaging or during transport, contact the
Service hotline (see section "Service").

Safety information
To ensure safe operation of the appliance, follow the safety guidelines
below:
DANGER – RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK!
► Always check the mains cable and plug before use. To avoid the risk of
injury, damaged mains cables should be replaced by the manufactur-
er, its service agent or a similarly qualified person.
► Do not kink or crush the mains cable or run it over sharp edges or
near hot surfaces or objects. This may damage the insulation of the
mains cable.
► When not in use and before cleaning the appliance, always unplug
the mains cable from the mains socket.
► Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. There is a risk
of electric shock!
► Never expose the appliance to moisture and do not use it outdoors.
If any liquid gets into the housing, disconnect the appliance from the
mains socket immediately and have it repaired by a qualified techni-
cian.
► Never hold the appliance, mains cable or mains plug with wet hands.
► Do not clean the appliance with abrasive sponge scourer.
Detached particles from the sponge can come into contact with
electrical components and cause an electric shock.

► Do not allow children to play with packaging materials. Risk of suffo-
cation!
► Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down before removing
or inserting accessories.
► When not in use and before cleaning, always pull the mains plug out
of the mains outlet. Always unplug the mains cable from the mains
outlet by the pulling on the plug, not the cable itself.

► This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years or above and
by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and/or knowledge, if they are being supervised
or have been told how to use the appliance safely and are aware
of the potential risks.
► Do not allow children to play with the appliance.
► Cleaning and user maintenance may not be performed by children
unless they are older than 8 years of age and are supervised.
► Children younger than eight years of age must be kept away from the
appliance and the mains cable.
► This appliance complies with all pertinent safety regulations.
Inspection, repair and technical maintenance may only be carried out
by a qualified specialist dealer or our customer service.
► Do not attempt to touch the rotating kneading blades during use.
► Do not move the appliance if the baking tin contains hot or liquid
contents, e.g. jams. There is a risk of burns!
Caution! Hot surface! Risk of burns!
Parts of the appliance get very hot during use! Allow the
appliance and its accessories to cool down sufficiently or
use pot holders or protective gloves.
► Never use the appliance for purposes other than those described in
these instructions. There is a risk of injury if the appliance is misused!
WARNING! RISK OF FIRE!
► Never place the appliance on or near a gas or electric cooker, a hot
oven or other sources of heat. Do not place the appliance under or
near flammable materials, explosive and/or combustible gases.
There is a risk of overheating and fire.

► Ensure that the ventilation slots of the appliance are not obstructed.
Never cover the appliance with a towel or other material. Heat and
steam must be able to escape. Ensure a minimum clearance of 10 cm
from other objects on all sides to ensure sufficient heat dissipation.
There is a risk of overheating and fire.
► Do not place any objects on the appliance.
► Never place aluminium foil or other metallic objects inside the appli-
ance. This could cause a short circuit.
► Never use more than 900 g flour or 900 g baking mix for baking.
Add a maximum of 20 g fresh or 10 g dry yeast. The dough could
overflow and cause a fire! The only exception to this rule is gluten-free
bread. In this case, a maximum of 20 g fresh or 15 g dry yeast may
be added.
► Do not heat the appliance for more than 5 minutes with an empty
baking tin.
► Do not use an external timer switch or a separate remote control
system to operate the appliance.
CAUTION –PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
► Do not use the appliance to store food or utensils.
► Never use the appliance without the baking tin or for more than
5 minutes with an empty baking tin. This will irreparably damage the
appliance.
► Never attempt to remove the baking tin during use.
► Always place the appliance on a dry, flat and heat-resistant surface.
► Never leave the appliance unattended while it is being used.

Function overview
■ You can choose from 16 different baking
programmes.
■ You can use your own recipes or ready-made
baking mixes.*
■ You can use the "Gluten-free" programme to
prepare gluten-free baking mixes and recipes
with gluten-free flours, such as cornflour, buck-
wheat flour and potato flour.
■ You can knead different doughs like bread roll
dough or pizza dough.
■ You can make jam or yoghurt.
■ You can programme up to 8 individual program-
mes tailored to your own needs (programme 16).
*You will find a selection of delicious baking mixes
as well as ingredients for your own recipes in your
local Lidl market.

The control panel 6consists of the following

BStart/Stop button
Button for starting, pausing or stopping a pro-
gramme.
To pause a programme, briefly press the Start/
Stop button B– the time indicator bwill flash.
You can resume baking by pressing the Start/Stop
button Bagain. Otherwise, the programme will
resume automatically after 10 minutes.
To end a programme prematurely and delete the
settings, press and hold the Start/Stop button B
until you hear a long beep.
NOTE
► Do not press the Start/Stop button B if you
simply want to check the condition of the
bread. You can check the baking progress by
looking through the viewing window 1.
C Select browning level/quick mode
These buttons are used for selecting the browning
level or quick mode (light/medium/dark/quick).
Press the button repeatedly until the arrow d
appears above the desired browning level.
Or activate quick mode to speed up the baking
process.
NOTE
► No browning level can be set for pro-
grammes 9–14.
► The "quick" function is only available for
programmes 1–4.
DSetting the timer
Buttons to set the timer for time-delayed baking
(see section "Timer function").
NOTE
► The timer function is not available for
programmes 9, 11 and 13–15.
EOperating light
The operating light Eindicates whether a pro-
gramme is currently active.
If you have activated the timer function, the operating
light Eflashes during the delay time. As soon as
the programme starts, the operating light E lights
up permanently.
FSet bread weight
Button for selecting the bread weight (1000 g /
1250 g/ 1500 g). Press the button repeatedly until
the arrow a appears below the desired weight.
The specified weights refer to the quantity of ingre-
dients placed in the baking tin 8.
NOTE
► No weight can be set for programmes 9–15.
GSelect programme
Button to select the desired programme (1–16).
The display Ashows the programme number e
and time b.
Before first use
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Do not heat the appliance for more than
5 minutes with an empty baking tin 8.
There is a risk of fire!
NOTE
► Production-related residues may result in a
slight odour and smoke formation during first
use. It is harmless and stops after a short time.
Ensure sufficient ventilation; for example, by
opening a window.
1) Wipe the baking tin 8, kneading blades 7
and outer surfaces of the appliance with a
damp cloth before first use. Do not use abrasive
sponges or abrasive cleaning agents.
2) When heating up for the first time (only),
place the empty baking tin 8including the
kneading blades 7 into the appliance and
close the lid 2.
3) Insert the mains plug into the socket.
