instructions for use are part of the product. They contain

Intended use
This Bluetooth®speaker (hereinafter referred to as “product”) is a
consumer electronic device and is intended for playing audio sig-
nals. This product is splash-proof (IP X6) and can therefore also
be used in moist rooms, e.g. bathrooms or showers. It is designed

DANGER
Risk of suffocation! Never leave
children unsupervised with the packaging
material. The packaging material poses a
suffocation hazard. Children frequently

underestimate the dangers. The packaging
material is not a toy.
This product may be used by children age
8 years and up, as well as by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-
pacities or lacking experience and/or
knowledge, so long as they are supervised
or instructed in the safe use of the product
and understand the associated risks. Do
not allow children to play with the product.
Cleaning and user maintenance should not
be performed by children without supervi-
sion. The product is not a toy.
ATTENTION! RISK OF PROPERTY

This product does not contain any parts
which can be serviced by the user. The
rechargeable battery cannot be replaced.

Do not place burning candles or other
open fire on or next to the product.
Check the product before every use! Dis-
continue use if any damage to the product
or the charging cable is detected!
If you notice smoke or unusual noise or
odour, switch the product off immediately
and remove the USB cable.
Sudden temperature changes may cause
condensation inside the product. In this
case, allow the product to acclimate for
some time before using it again to prevent
short circuits!
Do not operate the product near heat
sources, e.g. radiators or other devices
emitting heat!
Do not throw the product into fire and do
not expose to high temperatures.

The device may heat during charging,
place the product in a well ventilated loca-
tion during charging and do not cover.
The product‘s rechargeable rechargeable
battery must only be charged in dry envi-
ronments, as it is not protected from splash
water when the charging socket connector
socket is open. Please also note the in-
structions for use from the manufacturer of
the charger.
Be sure that no foreign objects may enter
the product.
DANGER
Do not try to open the product! It has no
internal parts requiring maintenance.
WARNING – Radio interference
Switch the product off on airplanes, in hospitals,

service rooms, or near medical electronic sys-
tems. The wireless signals transmitted could
impact the functionality of sensitive electronics.
Keep the product at least 20cm from pace-
makers or implantable cardioverter defibrilla-
tors, as the electromagnetic radiation may
impair the functionality of pacemakers. The
radio waves transmitted could cause interfer-
ence in hearing aids. Do not place the prod-
uct near flammable gasses or potentially
explosives areas (e.g. paint shops) with the
wireless components on, as the radio waves
emitted can cause explosions and fire. The
range of the radio waves varies by environ-
mental conditions. In the event of wireless
data transmission, unauthorised third parties
receiving the data cannot be excluded. The
OWIM GmbH & Co KG is not responsible
for interference with radios or televisions due

to unauthorised modification of the product.
The OWIM GmbH & Co KG further assumes
no liability for using or replacing cables and
products not distributed by OWIM. The user
of the product is fully responsible for correct-
ing interference caused by such unauthorised
modification of the product, as well as re-
placement of such products.
Safety instructions for
built-in rechargeable
batteries
Never open the product, repairs may only
be carried out by qualified personnel.
CAUTION! RISK OF EXPLOSION!
Do not throw the product into fire.
Avoid extreme environmental conditions
and temperatures, which could affect re-

chargeable batteries, e.g. radiators/
direct sunlight.
If rechargeable batteries have
leaked, avoid contact with skin,
eyes and mucous membranes with the
chemicals! Flush immediately the affected
areas with fresh water and seek medical
attention!
Do not cover the product during operation
or charging. Otherwise the product can
overheat.
This product contains a rechargeable bat-
tery, which can lead to fire, explosion or
leakage of hazardous substances in case
of incorrect application.

Use
Charging the rechargeable battery
The rechargeable battery must be charged prior to first use.
The low rechargeable battery indicator 6flash and an
acoustic signal sounds when the rechargeable battery is
drained. The rechargeable battery should then be charged
as soon as possible.
Plug the micro-USB plug on the charging cable 14 into the
micro-USB charging socket 12 on the product.
Plug the USB-A plug on the charging cable into the USB port
on a PC or a USB adapter (not included).
NOTE: The rechargeable battery indicator 5will flash
while charging. Once the rechargeable battery is fully
charged, the rechargeable battery indicator 5lights up.
Once fully charged, disconnect the micro-USB plug from the
product.
Close the cover of the charging socket (micro-USB) 12 .
Switching the product on/off
Press and hold the button 1for approx. 2 seconds to
switch the product on and an acoustic signal sounds.
Press and hold the button 1again for approx. 2 seconds
to switch the product off and and an acoustic signal sounds.

Time display
Press any button to show the current time on the LC display
3while the product is powered on.
NOTE: Time display will be lights on for approx. 2 minutes
and then off if no button operation made. Briefly press any
button to light up the LC 3again.
Select modes
To get to the desired function mode, press once button 11
and then again to select the desired mode clock/bluetooth /
FM.
NOTE: The last selected mode and volume will be automati-
cally stored.
Set the clock
Setting of the clock can only be done in clock mode.
In clock mode, press and hold button 11 until the hour
digits flash.
Press button 4or button 10 to adjust the hour digits.
Press button 8to confirm.
The minute digits flash.

digits.
Press button 8to confirm.
Set the alarm
In clock mode, press and hold button 8.
Press button 4or button 10 to select alarm “ON”
or “OFF”.
Press button 8to confirm.
When alarm “ON” is selected, hour digits flash.
Press button 4or button 10 to adjust the hour
digits.
Press button 8to confirm.
The minute digits flash.
Press button 4or button 10 to adjust the minute
digits.
Press button 8to confirm.
Then press button 4or button 10 to adjust the
alarm volume level.
Press button 8to confirm.
