1. INFORMACION GENERAL.
ATENCIÓN: Lea y comprenda perfectamente las presentes instrucciones antes de empezar a manejar la
maquina
SIMA S.A. agradece la confianza depositada en nuestros fabricados al adquirir una CIZALLA MANUAL.
Este manual le proporciona las instrucciones necesarias para su utilización, mantenimiento y, en su caso,
reparación. Se señalan también los aspectos que pueden afectar a la seguridad y salud de los usuarios durante la
realización de cualquiera de dichos procesos. Si se siguen las citadas instrucciones y se opera como se indica, se
obtendrá un servicio seguro y un mantenimiento sencillo.
Por ello, la lectura de este manual es obligatoria para cualquier persona que vaya a ser responsable del uso,
mantenimiento o reparación de la cizalla.
Se recomienda tener siempre este manual en un lugar fácilmente accesible donde se esté
utilizando la maquina.
2. DESCRIPCION GENERAL
Las CIZALLAS MANUALES SIMA S.A., modelo C6/.., están diseñadas y fabricadas para cortar barras
corrugadas o lisas de construcción, mediante cuchillas intercambiables montadas en las mandíbulas.
Cualquier otro uso que se le pueda dar a la cizalla manual se considera inadecuado y puede
resultar peligroso, por lo que queda expresamente prohibido.
•La cizalla manual esta diseñada para poder ser fijada al plano de trabajo, mediante sus cuatro
elementos de fijación que forman parte de la estructura
•El avance del material a cortar se realiza manualmente pasando la barra por la abertura existente
entre la las cuchillas.
•El corte se realiza por la acción de la fuerza ejercida sobre le brazo de palanca
3. TRANSPORTE
Para un transporte seguro de la cizalla siga las siguientes instrucciones:
Para el traslado de la cizalla en el entorno de trabajo, debe hacerlo mediante transpaletas o carretillas
elevadoras para evitar accidentes.
4. INSTRUCCIONES DE MONTAJE.
La cizalla se sirve completamente montada, lista para cortar desde el momento de su compra.
4.1 MONTAJE DE LAS CUCHILLAS.
Si alguna de las cuchillas de la maquina se ve deteriorada por el uso deberá seguir el siguiente procedimiento
para reemplazarla:

1Elevar hacia arriba el brazo del piñón palanca como indica la flecha
en la Fig.1,
2Retirar el tornillo F, Fig. 1 gire la cuchilla Q para un nuevo filo de
corte, ó sustitúyala por otra nueva en caso necesario y volver a
operar de forma inversa.
CUCHILLA FIJA
1Elevar hacia arriba el brazo del piñón palanca como indica la flecha
en la Fig.1, para que la cuchilla fija quede libre de obstáculo,.
2Retirar el tornillo T, Fig. 1 gire la cuchilla Cpara un nuevo filo de
corte, ó sustitúyala por otra nueva en caso necesario y volver a
operar de forma inversa.

4.2 MANTENIMIENTO, INSPECCION Y CONTROL.
Para que la cizalla se mantenga siempre en buenas condiciones deberá controlar periódicamente los
siguientes puntos:
1Controlar tras cada jornada de trabajo el estado de las cuchillas de corte, cuando se observen muy
deterioradas sustitúyalas por otras nuevas
2lubricar cada 5 días de trabajo los ejes de giro de piñón y mandíbula
3Engrasar cada 2 meses de uso los dientes de mandíbula y piñón con grasa consistente.
5. INSTRUCCIONES DE USO.
Las cizallas manuales han sido diseñadas y construidas para el corte de barras de hierro liso o corrugado de
construcción; cualquier otro uso no indicado expresamente se considera anormal. Cualquier útil o accesorio añadido o
modificado sin la autorización escrita del fabricante se considera inapropiada y peligrosa, por lo que en estos casos o
por mal uso si se producen daños o lesiones, SIMA S.A. exime toda responsabilidad como fabricante.
PASOS A SEGUIR PARA LA REALIZACIÓN DEL CORTE.
1Fije la cizalla a una superficie firme, por los taladros habilitados para ello, procurando que ésta quede en
una posición segura y estable.
2 Monte el brazo de palanca suministrado con la cizalla en vástago del piñón.
3Coloque la barra a cortar en el hueco que hay entre las cuchillas a continuación empuje la palanca hasta
que se produzca el corte del material; la forma curvada de la palanca junto con el diseño de la maquina,
permite dar el corte en dos atacadas con solo cambiar la posición de la misma.
Los modelos C6/28 y C6/32 disponen de un pasador de posicionamiento en el vástago del piñón B, Fig.2 que
permite regular la abertura entre cuchillas, según el grosor del material a cortar.
Para evitar que las barras se atraviesen en las cuchillas en el momento del corte, la cizalla dispone de un tornillo
regulable para el apoyo de la barra T, Fig. 2

6. RECOMENDACIONES DE SEGURIDAD
•Antes de manejar la cizalla lea atentamente las instrucciones y observe el cumplimiento de las normas de
seguridad.
•Las cizallas manuales deben ser utilizadas por personal autorizado e instruido en funcionamiento.
•Utilice siempre el equipo de protección individual (EPI) adecuado para cada trabajo
•Asegúrese que la cizalla a utilizar esta en perfecto estado técnico y totalmente operativa.
•No trabaje con la cizalla si no esta fijada a una superficie y totalmente segura
•Compruebe que nadie se encuentra en el radio de acción del equipo
•Cuando tenga que desplazar la cizalla hágalo siempre de forma segura y con los medios necesarios en función
de su peso.
•Inspeccione visualmente las uniones, bulones, tuercas, soldaduras, corrosión, grietas etc.
•No utilice la cizalla para las funciones que no ha sido diseñada
ATENCIÓN: Deben seguirse todas las recomendaciones de seguridad señaladas en este manual y cumplir con la
normativa de prevención de riesgos laborales de cada lugar.

7. SOLUCION A LAS ANOMALIAS MAS FRECUENTES.

9. GARANTIA.
SIMA, S.A. fabricante de maquinaria para la construcción, dispone de una red de servicios técnicos Red
SERVÍ-SIMA. Las reparaciones efectuadas en garantía por nuestra Red SERVÍ-SIMA, están sometidas a unas
condiciones con objeto de garantizar el servicio y calidad de las mismas.
SIMA. S.A. garantiza todos sus fabricados contra cualquier defecto de fabricación, quedando amparados por
las condiciones especificadas en el documento adjunto CONDICIONES DE GARANTIA.
Las condiciones de garantía cesaran en caso de incumplimiento de las condiciones de pago establecidas.
SIMA S.A. se reserva el derecho de modificar sus productos sin previo aviso
10. REPUESTOS
Los repuestos disponibles para las Cizallas manuales modelo C6/.., fabricadas por SIMA, S.A. están
identificados en los planos de repuestos que se adjuntan con el presente manual.
Para solicitar cualquiera de ellos, deberá ponerse en contacto con el departamento de post-venta de SIMA
S.A. y especificar claramente el número con el que esta señalado, así como el modelo, numero de fabricación y
año de fabricación que aparece en la placa de características de la máquina a la cual va destinado.
11. PROTECCIÓN DEL MEDIO AMBIENTE.
Se deberán recuperar las materias primas en lugar de desechar los restos. Los aparatos, accesorios, fluidos
y embalajes deberán ser enviados a sitios indicados para su reutilización ecológica. Los componentes de
plástico están marcados para su reciclaje seleccionado.

CONDICIONES DE GARANTIA
1.) SIMA, S.A. garantiza sus productos contra cualquier defecto de fabricación haciéndose cargo de la reparación de los equipos averiados por esta causa,
durante un periodo de UN AÑO, contados a partir de la FECHA DE COMPRA, que OBLIGATORIAMENTE debe reflejarse en el Certificado de Garantía.
2.) La garantía, cubre exclusivamente la mano de obra y reparación de las piezas defectuosas del producto cuyo modelo y número de serie de fabricación se
indica en el Certificado de Garantía.
3.) Quedan totalmente excluidos los gastos originados por desplazamientos, dietas, alojamiento, así como los gastos de transporte hasta el domicilio de SIMA
S.A., que serán por cuenta de cliente.
4.) No podrán atribuirse a defectos de fabricación las averías producidas por malos tratos, golpes, caídas, siniestros, uso indebido, exceso de voltaje,
instalación inadecuada u otras causas no imputables al producto.
5.) Las reparaciones amparadas por la GARANTIA, únicamente podrán realizarlas la propia empresa SIMA, S.A. o entidades autorizadas por ella, siendo
competencia final del departamento técnico de SIMA S.A. la aceptación de la reparación en Garantía.
6.) Esta Garantía queda anulada a todos los efectos en los siguientes casos:
a) Por modificación y/o manipulación del Certificado de garantía.
b) Cuando por hecho o claro indicio las piezas que componen el producto se hayan reparado, modificado o sustituido, en todo o parte, por taller, entidad o
persona NO autorizada por el departamento Técnico de SIMA,S.A.
c) Cuando se instalen en el producto piezas o dispositivos no homologados por SIMA, S.A.
7.) SIMA S.A. no asume la responsabilidad de los daños derivados o vinculados a una avería del producto. Estos incluyen, pero sin limitarse a ellos, las
molestias, los gastos de transporte, las llamadas telefónicas y la perdida de bienes personales o comerciales, así como la pérdida de sueldo o ingreso.
8.) En los motores eléctricos o de explosión, en caso de avería durante el periodo de Garantía, deben ser enviados al domicilio de SIMA S.A. o al servicio
técnico autorizado por el fabricante del motor, para la determinación de su Garantía.
9.) El Certificado de Garantía deberá estar en poder de SIMA S.A. en un plazo no superior a los TREINTA días naturales a partir de la fecha de venta del
producto, para poder ser beneficiario de la Garantía .Para reclamar la garantía deberá presentar factura de compra sellada por el establecimiento vendedor
con el número de serie del producto.

1. GENERAL INFORMATION
WARNING: Please read and understand perfectly the present instruction before using the machine.
SIMA S.A. thanks you for your trust in our products and for purchasing the MANUAL SHEAR.
This manual provides you with the necessary instructions to start, use, maintain and in your case, repair of the
present machine. All aspects as far as the safety and health of the users is concerned have been stated. Respecting
all instructions and recommendations guarantees safety and low maintenance. As such, reading this manual carefully
is compulsory for any person responsible for the use, maintenance or repair of this machine.
2. GENERAL DISCRIPTION
The manual shear, model C6/.., have been designed and manufactured to cut reinforced of flat steel bars for
construction, using exchangeable blades that are mounted onto cutting jaws.
Any other use of this machine is considered inadequate and can be dangerous. Thus, this is utterly
prohibited.
•The manual shear is designed to be fixed to the work table, through its four elements of fixing
incorporated in the frame.
•Advancing the material to cut is done manually sliding the bar through the opening between the
blades.
•The cutting is done through exerting a force on the arm of the handle
3. TRANSPORT
For a safe transport of the machine, please follow the following instructions:
Moving the shears in the work site must be done through manual pallet-car or forklifts to avoid accidents.
4. ASSEMBLING INSTRUCTIONS
The shear is completely mounted and ready to us on the day of purchase.
4.1 MOUNTING THE BLADES
If one of the blades gets blunt due to frequent use, replace it as follows:

1Raise the arm of the cogwheel handle as indicates the arrow in
Fig.1.
2Remove the screw F, Fig. 1 rotate the blade Q for a new cut, or
replace with a new one if necessary and proceed in the reverse.
FIXED BLADE
1Raise the arm of the cogwheel handle as indicates the arrow in
Fig.1, to free the fixed blade.
3Remove the screw T, Fig. 1 rotate the blade C for a new cut, or
replace with a new one if necessary and proceed in the reverse.

4.2 MAINTENANCE, INSPECTION AND CONTROL
To keep the shear in good conditions, you need to control periodically the following points:
1After each day of work, check the condition of the shear and replace them if blunt.
2Lubricate after each 5 days of work the cogwheel rotation spindles and the mandible
3Grease each 2 months of use the mandible cogs and cogwheel.
5. USING INSTRUCTIONS
The manual shears have been designed and manufactured to cut flat and reinforced steel bars for construction.
Therefore, it is expressly prohibited. Adding any tool or accessory, or bringing any modification to the machine without
written authorization from the manufacturer is considered inappropriate and can be dangerous.
STEPS TO FOLLOW WHEN PERFORMING A CUTTING
1Fix the shear on a firm surface with the special drill for this use, making sure the machine remains stable
2 mount the handle supplied with the machine and the cogwheel stem.
3Place the bar to cut between the blades and push the lever until the cut is performed. The curved form of
the lever together with the design of the machine allow cutting in two attacks with only changing the
position of the lever.
The models C6/28 and C6/32 have a positioning bolt in the cogwheel stem B, Fig.2 that allows regulating the
opening between the blades, according to the thickness of the material to be cut. To avoid the rods crossing in the
blades at the time of court, the shear has an adjustable screw for the bar resting. T, Fig. 2

6. SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
•Before using the manual shear, read carefully the instructions manual and make sure to comply with the
safety norms.
•The manual shears are only to be operated by authorized people that have been trained on their functioning.
•Use always the adequate Individual Protection Equipment (IPE) for each job.
•Make sure the manual shear in a perfect technical state and working order.
•Do not operate the manual shear if it is not firmly fixed to a safe surface.
•Check there is nobody in the machine working ratio
•When you need to move the machine, do it in a safe manner with the necessary means in function of its
weight.
•Control the joints, bolts, nuts, wildings, corrosion, fissures etc.
•Never use the shear for what it has not been designed for.
WARNING: You are to follow all safety recommendations mentioned in the present user manual and comply
with all labour risks prevention norms in every location.
SIMA, S.A. is not responsible for the consequences possibly generated but the inadequate use of the manual shear.

9. WARRANTY
SIMA, S.A. the manufacturer of light machinery for construction possesses a net of technical services “SERVI-SIMA”.
Repairs under warranty made by SERVÍ-SIMA are subject to some strict condition to guaranty a high quality and
service.
SIMA S. A. guarantees all its products against any manufacturing defect; to take into account the conditions stated in
the attached document “WARRANTY CONDITIONS”. The latter would cease in case of failure to comply with the
established payment terms. SIMA S.A. reserves its right to bring modifications and changes to its products without
prior notice.
10. SPARE PARTS
The spare parts for the manual shear C/…, manufactured by SIMA, S.A. are to be found in the spare parts plan,
attached to this manual.
To order any spare part, please contact our alter-sales service clearly indicating the serial number of the
machine, model, manufacturing number and year of manufacturing that show on the characteristics plate.
11. ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Raw materials have to be collected instead of throwing away residuals. Instruments, accessories, fluids and
packages have to be sent into specific places for ecological reutilisation. Plastic components are marked for
selective recycling.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS
1.) SIMA, S.A. fully guarantees all its products against defects in design, taking responsibility in the repairs or the faulty equipment for a period of ONE year
from the original date of purchase. The date of purchase must appear on the warranty voucher enclosed.
2.) The warranty covers exclusively labour, repair and substitution of the faulty parts, the model and serial number of which must show on the warranty
certificate.
3.) Transport, stay and food expenses before arriving to SIMA S.A., will be covered by the client.
4.) The warranty does not cover any damage caused by the normal wear, undue usage, overloading, inadequate installation or bad conservation of the
machine.
5.) All repairs under WARRANTY will solely be effectuated by SIMA, S.A. or by its authorised dealers or repair centres.
6.) This Guarantee will be invalid in the following cases:
a) Any Warranty certificate manipulation or modification
b) Repairs, modifications or substitution of any part of the machine by unauthorized parties by SIMA S.A technical department.
c) The non-approved installation of devices by SIMA S.A technical department.
7.) SIMA is not responsible for any damages caused by the failure of the product. This includes, but not limited to, annoyances, transport expenses, telephone
calls and loss of personal goods or commercial benefits, as well as the loss of pay or salary.
8.) Faulty thermal or electrical motors under warranty have to be sent to SIMA S.A or its authorized technical service in the country.
9.) To be benefit from the warranty, the warranty certificate must be at SIMA S.A premises within 30 days from the purchasing date. To claim the warranty,
the purchase invoice has to be attached stamped by the dealer including the serial number of the machine.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS
1.) SIMA, S.A. fully guarantees all its products against defects in design, taking responsibility in the repairs or the faulty equipment for a period of ONE year
from the original date of purchase. The date of purchase must appear on the warranty voucher enclosed.
2.) The warranty covers exclusively labour, repair and substitution of the faulty parts, the model and serial number of which must show on the warranty
certificate.
3.) Transport, stay and food expenses before arriving to SIMA S.A., will be covered by the client.
4.) The warranty does not cover any damage caused by the normal wear, undue usage, overloading, inadequate installation or bad conservation of the
machine.
5.) All repairs under WARRANTY will solely be effectuated by SIMA, S.A. or by its authorised dealers or repair centres.
6.) This Guarantee will be invalid in the following cases:
a) Any Warranty certificate manipulation or modification
b) Repairs, modifications or substitution of any part of the machine by unauthorized parties by SIMA S.A technical department.
c) The non-approved installation of devices by SIMA S.A technical department.
7.) SIMA is not responsible for any damages caused by the failure of the product. This includes, but not limited to, annoyances, transport expenses, telephone
calls and loss of personal goods or commercial benefits, as well as the loss of pay or salary.
8.) Faulty thermal or electrical motors under warranty have to be sent to SIMA S.A or its authorized technical service in the country.
9.) To be benefit from the warranty, the warranty certificate must be at SIMA S.A premises within 30 days from the purchasing date. To claim the warranty,
the purchase invoice has to be attached stamped by the dealer including the serial number of the machine.

Ce manuel vous offre les informations nécessaires pour la mise en marche, utilisation et, si nécessaire, réparation.
Nous y signalons aussi les aspects pouvant affecter la sécurité et la santé des utilisateurs au moment de réaliser
n'importe laquelle de ces taches. En suivant toutes les instructions et en opérant comme indiqué dans ce manuel, vous
obtiendrez un service sûr et un entretien simple.
La lecture de ce manuel est donc obligatoire à toute personne chargée d'utiliser la machine, de l'entretenir ou de la
réparer.

2. DESCRIPTION GENERALE
Les cisailles manuelles SIMA S.A. modèles C6-22-28 et 32 sont conçues et fabriquées pour couper des barres
lisses ou torsadées grâce aux lames interchangeables montées dans les mâchoires de la machine.
Tout autre usage donné aux cisailles manuelles se considère inapproprié et peut s'avérer
dangereux, c'est pourquoi il est expressément interdit.
•Les cisailles manuelles sont conçues pour être fixées au plan de travail grâce aux quatre éléments de fixation
inclus dans la structure
•Le passage du matériau à couper se réalise manuellement en passant les barres par l'ouverture située entre les
lames
•La coupe se réalise en manipulant le levier
3. TRANSPORT
Pour déplacer les cisailles sur le lieu de travail (courte distance) ou les changer de position, utiliser un chariot
élévateur ou une transpalette.
4. INSTRUCTIONS DE MONTAGE.
Les cisailles sont fournies entièrement montées, prêtes à l'emploi dès le moment de l'achat.
4.1 MONTAGE DES LAMES
L'usage des cisailles entraîne une usure des lames, pour les remplacer procéder ainsi :

1. Pousser vers le haut le bras du pignon
levier comme indique la flèche Fig.1
2. Retirer la vis F,Fig.1, changer la lame de position
pour obtenir un nouveau fil de coupe ou changer-
la si nécessaire,Terminer en opérant en sens
inverse
LAME FIXE
1. Pousser vers le haut le bras du pignon levier
comme indique la flèche Fig.1 pour que la lame
soit libre de tout obstacle
2. Retirer la vis T,Fig.1, changer la lame de position
pour obtenir un nouveau fil de coupe ou changer-
la si nécessaire y terminer en opérant en sens
inverse
