Operating Instructions
1. To fill the kettle, remove it from the power base and open the lid by pressing the lid
opening button, fill with the required amount of water, and then close the ld. The
water level should not exceed the 1.7L mark or fall below 0.5L level. Too little water
will result in the kettle switching off before the water has boiled.
NOTE: Do not fill the water over the maximum level, as hot water may spill out of
the spout when boiling. Ensure that the lid is firmly in place before placing the kettle
onto the power base.
2. Pull out the power cord from the base directly, the position the kettle on the power
base.
3. Connect the plug to the power outlet. Press the ON/OFF switch to the ON position.
The water gauge will light up. The kettle will switch OFF automatically once the water
has boiled. You can shut the power off at any time during boiling by pressing the
ON/OFF switch to the OFF position. If you want to continue to boil water, press the
ON?OFF switch to the ON Position to restart.
NOTE: Ensure that the switch is free of obstructions and the lid is firmly closed, the
kettle will not turn off if the switch is constrained.
4. Lift the kettle from the power base and then pour the water.
NOTE: Operate carefully when pouring the water from your kettle as boiling water
may result in scalding.
5. The kettle will not re-boil water until the switch is pressed again.
NOTE: When not in use, always disconnect the power supply and store the power
cord in the base by turning the base cover in clockwise.
Boil Dry Protection
Should you accidently let the kettle operate without water, the boil-dry protection
