Read this manual thoroughly before using the appliance and save it for future reference
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
• Read all instructions before using.
• Before connecting the kettle to the power supply, check that the
voltage indicated on the appliance (underside the kettle & base)
corresponds with the voltage in your home. If this is not the
case, contact your dealer and do not use the kettle.
• Do not let the cord hang over edge of table counter or touch hot
surface.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated
oven.
• Do not operate without water; otherwise heater element would
be damaged.
• Ensure that kettle is used on a firm and flat surface where
the children can’t touch it. This can prevent the kettle from
overturning.
• To protect against a fire, electric shock or personal injury, do not
immerse cord, electric plugs or kettle in water or other liquids.
• While water boiling, avoid contacting with steam from the spout
when water is boiling or just after it has switched off. Do not be
anxious to uncover the lid.
• Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully
without tipping the kettle too fast.
• Be careful when opening the lid for refilling when the kettle is
hot.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by
or near children.
• Do not touch the hot surface. Use the handle or the button only.
• The kettle is for household use only.
• Do not use outdoors.
• The use of accessory attachments, which are not, recommended
by the appliance manufacturer, may result in fire, electric shock
or personal injury.

• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow
to cool before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning
the appliance.
• Always ensure the lid is closed and do not lift it while the water
is boiling.
• Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing
cycles.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person
in order to avoid a hazard.
• This appliance has been incorporated with a grounded plug.
Please ensure the wall outlet in your house is well earthed.
• Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
• The kettle can only use with the stand provided.
• If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar
applications such as:
o Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working
environments;
o Farm houses;
o By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type
environments;
o Bed and breakfast type environments.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have

been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Save these instructions.
Service & Repair
1. For service or repair under warranty, please contact the authorized service company that is
mentioned on the guarantee card that accompanies the product.
2. Do not operate any product with a damaged cord or plug. If the supply cord is damaged,
return the appliance to a SINGER service center for examination repair or adjustment. Do
not attempt to dismantle any part of the appliance. This should only be done at an authorized
SINGER service centre.
3. The partial or total non-respect of the safety instructions in the present instruction manual
will automatically release Singer of any type of responsibility in case of malfunction of the
machine or injuries to persons or animals.
4. In case of manipulation, repairing or any modification of the machine made by unqualified
persons or in case of improper use, the guarantee will be automatically cancelled.

BEFORE USING YOUR KETTLE
If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended that you clean your kettle before
use by boiling a full kettle of water twice and then discarding the water.
NOTE: The max capacity of kettle is 1.7L.
USING YOUR WATER KETTLE
1. To fill the kettle, remove it from the power base and open the lid by pressing Lid Release
button, fill with the desired amount of water, and then close the lid. Alternatively, the kettle may
be filled through the spout. The water level should not exceed MAX marks or sit below MIN
level. Too little water will result in the kettle switching off before the water has boiled.
NOTE: Do not fill the water over the maximum level, as water may spill out of the spout when
boiling. Ensure that the lid is firmly in place before plugging the power outlet.
2. Lay the kettle on the power base and connect the plug into a power outlet.
NOTE: The power base can be rotated by 360 degree to facilitate the plug connecting with
power outlet.
3. Press down the On/off switch to “I” position, the working indicator will light up, and then it
will start to boil the water. The kettle will switch off automatically once the water has boiled.
You may shut off the power by pressing the “0” position or lift the kettle from the base at any
moment to stop the boiling process. If necessary, it will take you 30 seconds to wait for before
you press the switch again to re-boil water.
NOTE: Ensure that switch is free of obstructions and the lid is firmly closed.The kettle will not
turn off if the switch is constrained or if the lid is open.
4. Lift the kettle from the power base and then pour the water.
NOTE: Operate carefully when pouring the water from your kettle as boiling water may result in
scald, besides, don’t open the lid while the water in the kettle is hot.
5. The kettle will not re-boil until the switch is pressed again. The kettle may be stored on the
power base when not in use.
NOTE: Ensure power supply is turned off when kettle is not in use.
BOIL-DRY PROTECTION
Should you accidentally let the kettle operate without water; the boil-dry protection will
automatically switch off the power. If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold
water to re-boil.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
1. Never immerse the kettle, power cord or power base in water, or allow moisture to contact
with these parts.
2. Wipe the appearance of body with a mild and damp cloth or cleaner, never use the toxic
cleaner.

CAUTION: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the
kettle so as to prevent the gloss loss.
3. When the kettle is not in use, you shall store the power cord in the cord storage of the base.
DESCALING
Your kettle should be periodically descaled because the mineral deposits in tap water may
form scale on the bottom of the kettle and diminish the efficiency of operation. You can use
the commercially available descaler and follow the instructions on the package of descaler.
Alternatively, you may follow the instructions as below to clean with white vinegar.
1. Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar, then adding water to the amount so as to cover
the bottom of kettle completely. Leave the solution in the kettle overnight.
2. Then discard the mixture in the kettle, fill the kettle with clean water, boil and then throw
it away. Repeat several times until the odor of vinegar has been flushed away. Any stains
remaining inside the spout can be removed by rubbing with a damp cloth.
Disposal of old Electrical & Electronic Equipment (Applicable in the European Union and
other European countries with separate collection systems).
This symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product shall not
be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable
collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring
this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative conse-
quences for the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused
by inappropriate waste handling ofthis product. The recycling of materials will help
to conserve natural resources. For more detailedinformation about recycling of this
product, please contact your local city office, your householdwaste disposal service
or the shop where you purchased the product.
