DK30 TRANSMITTER USER MANUAL
Thank you for purchasing SIYI Technology’s product. DK30 is a powerful and affordable radio
transmitting and receiving system integrated with 2.4G datalink, applied with upgraded SHTT
digital frequency hopping technology. DK30 supports maximum 10-kilometer effective
transmission distance and 15 independent digital channel output, perfectly compatible with all
major commercial flight controller in markets. DK30 also supports parameter adjustment through
mobile device, easy and convenient. To maintain a safe and orderly public space and to ensure
you a good using experience of DK32 transmitter, please read this manual carefully. If you have

1 PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
1.1 Product Features
Advanced SHTT Spread-spectrum Technology
DK30 transmitting and receiving system applies SIYI Technology’s latest
upgraded bidirectional 2.4GHz spread-spectrum technology named as SHTT
(SIYI Hopping Telemetry Technology), the maximum effective transmission
distance with stable flight control can be 3km (unobstructed, free of interference).
Transmitter and receiver are linked by a unique matching code, enhancing their
anti-interference performance beyond and among transmitters, allowing multiple
transmitters working in stability synchronously.
Extraordinary Handling & Accurate Manipulating Experience
DK30 transmitter fits user’s palm perfectly by applying a fashionably streamlined
and compact industrial design.
15-Channel Fast-response Mode
DK30 transmitter is equipped with a various type of buttons, dials and switches. 15

Built-in High Capacity Li-Po Battery, 25-hour Superb Long Working
Time
DK30 transmitter is equipped with a 3000mAh Li-Po 1S rechargeable battery,
reliable and easy to maintain. Through standard Micro-USB port you can charge
DK30 transmitter, and it continuously works for more than 25 hours after a full
charging. You’ll never have to worry about long-time flight in outdoor.
10-Kilometer Ultra Long Data Transmission Distance
In an unobstructed, free of interference environment, DK30's transmission distance
can reach 10 kilometers, which perfectly meets agricultural drone pilots' operating
requirement on BVR (Beyond Visual Range) flights.

DK30 transmitter integrated with datalink ground station supports USB connection

Parameter Adjustment on PC and Android APP
It’s an obviously better experience to adjust parameter on personal computers than
through LED screen, also more enjoyable owning continuous service of upgrading
firmware and updating new features.

2 GET READY TO USE DK30
2.1 Flight Safety
DK30 transmitting and receiving system is designed for professional application in
specific industries, users who approaches to the device should have at least basic
ability manipulating it. Any irregular or irresponsible manipulations of the device
may cause damages and lead to property loss or human injuries. Non-adult users
must follow their trainer’s guidance or adults’ supervision. Disassembling or
modification on DK30 transmitter is prohibited without a permission from SIYI
Technology.
To maintain a safe and orderly public space and to ensure you a good using
experience of SIYI’s product, please read the prohibited and mandatory carefully:

Prohibited Mandatory
Do not use DK30 transmitter to control aircraft in places of intensive crowd (squares,
parks), places of many obstructions (streets, parking lots), fields of strong magnetic or
interference (power/radar stations, railways) or any other fields that may cause property
loss or human injuries.
Do not hold or cover transmitter antenna or obstruct transmission by any means in a
flight.
Do not point directly to aircraft with antennas’ upper end in a flight.
Do not fly aircraft when you are tired, drunk, sickness or in any occasions that not
feeling good.
Do not fly aircraft when there is a rain, strong wind or at night.
Do not power off transmitter in a flight while aircraft engine and motors are still
working.
Keep aircraft within sight range in a flight.
Make sure DK30 transmitter’s screen menu is returned to system menu before taking
off a flight, in case of any accidents caused by mistouching system settings.
Do not forget to check transmitter and receiver battery level before flying an aircraft.
Power off aircraft first, then transmitter, when a flight is over.
Before doing any settings or adjustment on transmitter, make sure aircraft engine is
powered off and motor wires are off connection, in case of switching on accidentally.

Before fly aircraft for the first time, make sure that the Fail-safe function
preprogrammed in DK30 transmitter is activated.
Before fly aircraft for the first time, power on transmitter first and hold throttle
joystick at its bottom position, then power on aircraft.
2.2 How to Charge DK30 Transmitter
Press transmitter power button once to check transmitter battery level.

Press power button twice and hold for 3 seconds to power on DK30 transmitter.
Power on USB charger, connect charging cable to DK30 transmitter’s Micro-USB
port. DK30 is on charging while charging indicator is solid red; charging is finished

when charging indicator turns to solid green. Charging current should not exceed
2A, otherwise it may bring battery damage.

3 SKY STATION
DK30 and DK32 transmitter shares the same sky station, receiver integrated with
datalink, equipped with two 5dBi omnidirectional antennas, the maximum effective
transmission distance is test to be 10 kilometers in unobstructed, free of
interference areas.
Sky Station Functions
Pin 1-8: PWM output for channel 1-8.
Pin 9: Channel 9 output under PWM mode; PPM output under PPM mode; SBUS output
under SBUS mode.

3.1 How to Connect Sky Station under SBUS/PPM Mode
Please followthe legend below to connect signal control cable with DK30 skystation,
and pay an attention to its direction, wrong direction may block transmitting signal
to flight controller.
3.2 How to Connect Datalink
DK30 sky station use UART and CAN port for serial port data communication.

(MATRIX), JIYI (K3-A), CFUAS (C1-A) and other flight controllers under open source
Mavlink agreement flight controllers such as PIX and APM.

3.3 Linking
3.3.1 Manual Linking
Press and hold S5, S6 buttons on the back of DK30 transmitter, then toggled down
LD and RD at the same time, DK30 will beep an urgent “DiDiDi…”; then toggle up
LD and RD, the urgent “DiDiDi…” turns to a slow and rhythmic “Di-Di-Di”, and link
indicator blinks red quickly. DK30 transmitter is ready for linking.
Press down sky station linking button and hold for more than 3 seconds, transmitter
link indicator starts to blink red quickly. When link indicator blinks green quickly,
DK30 transmitter is finished linking.
3.3.2 Linking through “SIYI TX” APP
Please refer to content “4 SIYI TX APP” in this manual.

DK30 transmitter can be connected to mobile device through Bluetooth, then you
can adjust settings on “SIYI TX APP”.
Steps to Connect Mobile Device
1. Please visit SIYI Technology’s official website (http://www.siyi.biz).
2. In DK30 transmitter product description page, tap on “Downloads”;
3. Select “SIYI TX” software, tap on “Download” and install it to your mobile
device;

4. Turn on Bluetooth function on your mobile device, search DK30 transmitter’s
Bluetooth SSID which is also marked in the back plate of transmitter
(0AXXXXXXXX); tap on Bluetooth to connect. Default password is 1234.
5. Or open SIYI TX APP, tap on “Disconnected” up on the right corner; find DK30
transmitter Bluetooth SSID in popped out Bluetooth list.
6. Tap on “Connect”, when APP displays “Connected”, transmitter connects with
mobile devices successfully.
4.1 Sky Station
Sky station settings help user set receiver signal mode and activate auto linking
function.

Signal Mode
Set different signal mode according to XR32 receivers three different output mode,
SBUS, PPM and PWM.
Auto Linking
When datalink skystation is powered on, the automatic linking function is turned on,
and receives no signal from datalink ground station in 20 seconds, datalink sky
station starts linking to ground station automatically.
Automatic linking function is to simplify procedure. We suggest users to turn on the
function when datalink sky station is installed in aircraft body, thus they have no
approach to sky station’s linking button.
4.2 Channel
Channel settings help user adjust end point, middle point, channel reverse and
channel mapping of each channel.

End Point
Default end point range is from -100 to 100. Tap on your target channel, input your
required value to change end point value.
Middle Point
Tap on your target channel, input your required middle point value.
Channel Reverse
Tap on the channel reverse button in your target channel to set channel reverse or
reset.
Channel Mapping
DK30 transmitter supports customize channel function control switch from default
joysticks, dials and buttons.
Steps to Set Channel Mapping

Tap on the channel mapping button in your target channel, select a button or
switch in the popped out list.
4.3 Datalink
Datalink settings help user choose their required flight controller or set a baud rate.
Steps to Connect Datalink
DK30 transmitter supports A-USB (USB port), Micro-USB port and Bluetooth
for data communication.
If you need Bluetooth for data communication, please choose Micro-USB in SIYI Tx
APP, then quit APP before connect transmitter with mobile device.
Flight Controllers
Select your required flight controller in list.
By far DK30 supports TOPXGUN (T1-A), WOOZOOM (THEONE-A), EFY
(FINIX200M), BOYING (PALADIN), CHIAO (MATRIX), JIYI (K3-A), CFUAS (C1-A)
and other flight controllers under open source Mavlink agreement flight controllers
such as PIX and APM.

Baud Rate
For a specific flight controller, DK30 transmitter provides different baud rate for your
choice.
Tap on baud rate, select your target baud rate for your required flight controller.
