Get to know your Skinera Microdermabrasion
Skinera Microdermabrasion is an electrical device. As
such, it should be used with special aenon to safety.
Before using the device for the rst me, be sure to read
all warnings, contraindicaons and safety precauons. It is
important that you read and understand the instrucons
on how to use the device including aer-use procedures,
and follow them strictly. We recommend you refamiliarise
yourself with the instrucons before treatment.

Device descripon
Skinera Microdermabrasion is a dual-acon therapy device
designed for home use. It combines microdermabrasion
exfoliaon and vacuum smulaon of the skin.
Microdermabrasion exfoliaon
• Gentle, non-abrasive exfoliaon to allow for smoother,
fresher skin.
• Helps improve skin tone, texture and elascity.
• Helps reduce the appearance of age spots.
• Helps reduce the appearance of ne lines around the eyes.

Vacuum smulaon
• Helps smulate for smoother, more youthful looking skin.
• Brings some impuries to the surface.
• Collects the dead skin cells for disposal.
The device has a treatment p (#1), rubber cap (#2), lter (#3),
control buon (#4), device socket (#5), and an adapter with
cable (#6). Refer to the diagram at the front of this manual to
see the locaon of each feature on the device.
Intended use
Skinera Microdermabrasion is an over the counter device
intended for the exfoliaon of the skin’s upper layer, for a fresher
appearance. It is intended for the treatment of:
• Ageing skin of the face, neck and hands
• Fine facial lines
• Skin discolouraon
• Dark spots and shallow scars
• Dull and sun-damaged skin
The device is intended for self-treatment at home. Do not use
for any purpose other than as described in this manual.
Contraindicaons & warnings
Be sure to read this secon carefully and take note of the
warnings and contraindicaons.
This device must not be used by: children,
people under the age of 16, those with limited
physical, sensory or psychological capacies, or

people lacking experience or knowledge in how
to use the device. Children should be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with the device.
Do not use Skinera Microdermabrasion if you have:
• Rosacea.
• Poorly controlled endocrine disorders, such
as diabetes and thyroid condions.
• Abnormal skin condions caused by diabetes,
systemic or other metabolic diseases.
• Received radiaon therapy or chemotherapy
treatments within the past 3 months, or
have areas of potenal skin malignancies.
• Used physician-prescribed drugs on your
skin within the past 6 months.
• Any other condion which, in the opinion
of your physician or dermatologist, would
make it unsafe for you to be treated.
Do not treat areas that have:
• Acve eczema, psoriasis, lesions, open wounds
or infecons (cold sores), moles or warts,
abnormal skin condions caused by systemic
or metabolic diseases (diabetes for example).
• A history of herpes outbreaks.
• Traumazed or injured skin.
• Had recent exposure to the sun without
protecon (wait 1 day); for tanned or
sunburnt skin, wait 3 days.

Addional warnings
• Do not use on nipples or genitals.
• Recommended use is no more than twice a
week.
• Use the low sucon mode if you experience
any discomfort.
• Stop use immediately if your skin is very red.
• Remove all jewellery before treatments.
• Protect your skin with SPF 30 or higher if you
expose your skin to the sun aer a treatment.
• Always ensure that your hands and skin are
dry before operang the device or touching
the adapter plug.
• Keep your device away from water or liquids!
Do not use near bathtubs, showers, basins
or other vessels containing water. Do not
place or store the device where it can fall, be
pushed or placed anywhere near water or any
other liquid. There is a risk of electrocuon.
Unplug immediately and do not reuse.
• Never leave the device unaended when
plugged into an outlet. Keep the AC/DC
adapter accessible at all mes, so it can be
removed from the socket easily in case of
emergency. Unplug the device immediately
aer use.
• Do not carry the device by the AC/DC
adapter cable.
• If the device malfuncons, unplug immediately.
• Do not aempt to modify, open or repair your
Skinera Microdermabrasion device. You may
expose yourself to dangerous electrical compo-
nents and may cause serious harm to yourself.

Do not use Skinera Microdermabrasion if:
• The adapter, aachments or accessories are not recommende d
by Invenon Works B.V.
• The device has a damaged cable or plug. Keep the power
cable away from heated surfaces.
• You see or smell smoke when it is in use.
• The device is not working properly, or it appears to be damaged.
• The device casing is cracked or coming apart.
• The device has fallen into water.
In such cases, contact our Customer Service.
What to expect with Skinera Microdermabrasion
During a treatment session it is normal to experience or feel:
• A humming sound from the device: This is the sucon
pump working.
• Some slight redness of the skin: This should subside within
a few hours, or up to one day.
• Stop use immediately if your skin is very red.
• Contact your physician, if you experience
any complicaons.
Possible side eects
If you follow the instrucons fully and pay aenon to all warnings
and contraindicaons, complicaons and side eects are uncommon.
All cosmec procedures, including those designed for home use,
involve some degree of risk. Therefore, it is important that you
understand and accept the risks and complicaons that may occur.

Adverse reacon Risk
Skin redness
You may experience dilaon of the supercial
blood capillaries. This may result in some redness
for a few days. Addionally, some capillaries may
present red spots that will also subside with me.
In such cases, immediately.
Minor
Bruising
You may experience slight bruising which should
disappear aer 2-3 days.
Minor
Consult your physician if you experience any persistent symptoms.
Before your rst treatment
To use your Skinera Microdermabrasion, follow these steps:
1. Remove the device and other components from the box.
2. Plug the adapter cable into the device socket and plug the
adapter into an electrical outlet.
3. Review the recommendaons on how to use Skinera
Microdermabrasion on dierent treatment areas.
Treatment areas
We recommend that you start with the low sucon mode and
move to the high mode aer a few uses. If you have any discom-
fort, work the treatment area in low sucon mode.
Treatment area Recommendaons
Forehead, cheeks and chin Move the device over your skin from
the centre outwards and towards the
hairline.

Eyes and nose Use short upward strokes for the area
around your eyebrows. Avoid the
eyelids.
For the nose area, use straight down-
ward strokes following the curve
of the nose and the contour of the
cheekbones.
Neck Use smooth, downward strokes and
work the whole of the neck area.
To start with, you may work each area
2-4 mes. When your skin is used to
the treatment, you may increase to
4-6 passes.
Skinera Microdermabrasion’s Fine and Coarse ps
The device has two treatment ps. We recommend that you
start with the Fine p.
• Use the Fine p for general treatment or delicate nishing.
• Use the Coarse p for heavy duty exfoliaon.
To change ps:
1. Make sure the device is not connected to an
electrical outlet.
2. Remove the current p (#1) from the device
and replace with the other p. Make sure the
p is rmly in place before use.

Get started!
You’re on your way to a fresher, smoother skin! Treang with Skinera
Microdermabrasion is easy. Just follow these steps for each area
you wish to treat. A total treatment should take around 5 minutes.
Recommended precauons
• Before you treat an area for the rst me, do a spot test
on a small area of skin. If you have no adverse reacon, go
ahead and treat that area.
• Use the low sucon mode for your rst 2-3 treatments.
• We recommend you do not use the device more than twice
a week.
• Stop immediately if you feel any discomfort.
Treatment steps
1. Make sure your skin is clean, dry and free from powder,
cream or gel.
2. Make sure that the rubber cap (#2), lter (#3), and p (#1)
are rmly in place. For your rst few treatments, be sure to
use the Fine p.
3. Press the control buon (#4) to turn on the device. Your Skinera
Microdermabrasion is ready for use in low sucon mode.
4. Apply the p rmly to your skin so that you feel the sucon.
5. Work each area as recommended in secon “Treatment areas”.
6. To move from low to high sucon mode, press the control
buon again.
7. To switch o the device aer treatment, short press the
control buon once or twice, depending on which sucon
mode you are in.
8. Unplug the device and store Skinera Microdermabrasion in its
original box. Please refer to secon “Maintenance and storage”.

Aer treatment
• Avoid direct sunlight immediately aer treatment, and apply
sun factor SPF 30 or higher.
• You may wish to apply a facial mask, or apply a day or night
cream.
Maintenance and storage
It is important to clean your Skinera Microdermabrasion device
and store it properly aer each treatment.
• First, unplug the device.
• To clean the device, wipe with a clean, dry cloth. Use a
cleaning uid with no more than 70% alcohol, or another
non-abrasive cleaning uid. Never use acetone or other
abrasive uids, because they will damage your device.
• To clean the p, rst remove it from the device, wash with
soap and water, then dry thoroughly.
• To clean the lter, rst remove it from the device, brush away
any debris using a so brush, and place it back on the device.
• Aer cleaning, we recommend you store the device in its
original box.
• With the excepon of the ps, never immerse your
Skinera Microdermabrasion in water.
Replacing the lter
The lter needs cleaning or replacing due to the build-up of
discarded skin. We recommend that you do this every few treatments.
To replace the lter:
1. Remove the p from the device. You will then see the
rubber cap and the small black lter.

2. Remove the rubber cap (#2), and then
remove the lter (#3).
3. To clean the lter, brush o any debris, then
place it back on the device. To change a lter,
remove the current lter and insert a new one.
4. Place the rubber cap back into posion,
then put the p back on the device,
making sure that it is rmly connected.
Replacing the p
We recommend that you replace the p every six months, or
earlier if the abrasive end of the p is damaged.

AC/DC adapters, please contact our Customer Service.
Troubleshoong
Do not aempt to open or repair your Skinera Microdermabrasion.
You may expose yourself to dangerous electrical components and
cause serious harm to yourself. It will also void the warranty.

Problem Checks
My Skinera Microdermabrasi-
on does not start.
Make sure the adapter is properly
connected to the device, that it is
plugged into an electrical outlet and
that you have pressed the control
buon.
I don’t feel any sucon when
the device touches my skin.
Make sure the device is on, and check
that the lter, rubber cap and p are
placed on the device correctly.
Only authorized personnel are permied to perform repairs.

Warranty
What Does This Warranty Cover? Invenon Works B.V., its applicable
aliates (hereinaer: Invenon Works B.V.) or the authorized dealer
from whom you purchased your Skinera™ product (hereinaer: the
Device) shall repair or replace the Device, if any material defects
caused by Invenon Works B.V. are discovered in the Device during
the warranty period, whether in the body of the Device or its operaon.
Who is entled to warranty by virtue of this warranty cercate?
Only you, the original buyer of the Device who purchased the
Device from Invenon Works B.V. or its authorized dealers, are
entled to receive the warranty specied in this warranty cercate.
In order to be entled to the warranty service, you need to provide
a proof that you are the original buyer of the Device by presenng
an original receipt for purchase of the Device. This warranty is not
an internaonal warranty. The warranty will only be honoured in the
country in which the authorized dealer or the Invenon Works B.V.
enty from whom you purchased the Device, are located.
What period does this warranty cercate cover? The warranty
covers repair requests received within one year (1) from the Device’s
original purchase date. Repair requests aer one year (1) from the
date of purchase are not covered by this cercate of warranty. Repair
requests regarding a Device that was repaired or replaced must be
submied no later than: (a) one year (1) from the original purchase date
of the Device or (b) ninety (90) days from the date that the repaired

or replaced Device was returned to you, the later to occur. If a scker
is aached to your Device stang a warranty period longer than that
indicated above, the warranty period menoned on the scker will
apply, and the Device will be repaired or replaced as part of the
warranty unl such period expires.
If you purchased the Device in an EU country, you have an
addional year (according to the EU-Direcve 1999/44) to claim
for deciencies or malfunconing of your Device, which were
present at the me of purchase, but were not apparent then, as
determined by Invenon Works B.V. or the authorized dealer. In
order to make this extended warranty eecve you must contact
the authorized dealer from whom you purchased the Device or
the local service center and nofy them about the producon fault
immediately, and no later than 60 days aer detecng the fault.
How to get service for the warranty? For further instrucons
how to obtain warranty service and for contact details of the
service centres close to you, visit www.skinera.eu, or email
[e-mail].
When asking for customer services you may be asked to ll in a form
for returning the product and you shall receive a reference number.
In case of a defect that is not covered by the warranty for whatever
reason, Invenon Works B.V. can charge you for the shipping and
repair costs if you agreed to repair the Device at your expense.”
What is not covered by this cercate of warranty? This
warranty does not cover any damage resulng from an accident,
misuse (including using the Device other than as described in
the use instrucons accompanying the Device), defecve use,
lack of
reasonable care, irregular and unreasonable use including
withou
t limitaon commercial or professional use, adding parts not

supplied together with the Device, losing parts, using unauthorized
spare parts or exposing the Device to any electrical current other
than the indicated current. The warranty will be cancelled if the
Device was treated by anyone not authorized by Invenon Works
B.V. and Invenon Works B.V. will not be liable for any damage
resulng from repairs performed by anyone not authorized by
Invenon Works B.V. The warranty does not include replacing
used non-durable parts
WARRANTY DISCLAIMER THE EXPRESS. WARRANTY SET
FORTH IN THIS DOCUMENT IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER
WARRANTIES INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES
OF MERCHANTIBILITY, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE. THIS WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE
REMEDY FOR ANY DEFECT OF THE DEVICE.
LIMITATIONS. IN NO EVENT SHALL INVENTION WORKS B.V.,
ITS AFFILIATES OR AUTHORIZED DEALERS, BE LIABLE FOR ANY
INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION,
DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF USE OR CHARGES FOR SUBSTITUTE
EQUIPMENT), REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY ON WHICH
THE CLAIM IS BASED EVEN IF THEY HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF
THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN THE EVENT THAT THE
REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY ARE HELD TO FAIL
OF THEIR ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OR IF INVENTION WORKS B.V.,

Skinera Mikrodermabrasion ist ein Elektrogerät. Bei seinem
