The Smartwatcher emergency call watch allows you
to speak with selected friends and family or with care
professionals in order to arrange assistance.
Optimised for safety, this watch only works together with
the Smartwatcher subscription service of your choice.
Other features are not available on this device. In daily
use, the watch shows the time.

2. WATCH SET UP
Step 1 - Charge your watch
Fully charge your watch before using it for the rst time.
1. Plug the charging cable into the USB power adapter
and connect it to the power socket.
2. Place the watch on the charging cradle. It takes
about 2 hours to fully charge the watch.
Step 2 - Register and activate your watch online
1. Power on your watch by pressing and holding down
the power on/off button 3for 2-3 seconds.
2. Go to my.smartwatcher.com in your computer
Internet browser.
3. Insert the watch’s IMEI and ICCID numbers which
are shown on the watch face 1.
4. You can now follow the registration and activation
process step by step.

In order to manage your watch settings and the safety
features please visit the Watch Management Portal at
my.smartwatcher.com
3. HOW TO USE YOUR WATCH
Power on
Press and hold down the power on/off button 3for 2-3 seconds.
When you add a helper’s mobile phone number, that
person will receive an SMS with a link to download and
install our free Smartwatcher app. After installing the
app, Helpers need to accept the invitation. Now, during
an active alarm, they will be able to see the location of
the person wearing the watch.

a. the green icon (right) to conrm you want to

Restart
Press and hold down the power on/off button 3for

To see the time
The watch face is activated by gently turning your wrist
towards you. Alternatively, lightly press the power button
3for 1 second.
To trigger an alert
Firmly press the large upper button 2for 1-2 seconds
until the watch vibrates and you hear a beep tone. The
watch face 1now shows a 5 second countdown, which
allows you to end a false alarm. If you do not end the
alarm, a red alarm symbol appears on the watch face 1
and the alarm goes out to your helpers.

Network coverage is not available everywhere. You
will not be able to trigger an alarm when cellular
service is not available. If there is no mobile network
connection, the watch will show the following
indicator: .
IMPORTANT!
Please plan to charge your watch at least once
each day.
Use only the originally-supplied charging set.
Several factors can impact how long the battery will
last between charging:
The strength of your mobile network connection
Intensity of use
Extreme temperatures (very warm or cold)

To end an alert
An active alarm can be ended in three different ways:
1.Automatically, when the call ends. The alarm will
automatically end after the last helper hangs up the
phone (if the call lasted at least 10 seconds).
2.Manually by the person wearing the watch. You
can end the alarm on your watch by tapping the red
alarm icon on the watch face. Then tap the green
conrmation symbol on the right side.This returns
you to the watch face showing the time.
3.Online, in the Watch Management Portal. The
watch administrator can end an alarm by navigating
into the „Alarm History“ menu and clicking on „End
alarm“.

the watch administrator can manage watch settings,
helpers, personal information and safety features.

watch, a call cannot be established.
To support the performance of your watch,
please test the connectivity at home
and any areas where you will regularly
wear the watch. While the SPIRIT/SPIRIT
Petite shows excellent cellular network
connectivity, low network connectivity in
general can impact the watch’s ability to
send an alarm.

We recommend that you test your watch alarm periodically
(i.e. once a month) to ensure it is connecting properly.
With SPIRIT/SPIRIT Petite specically,
the watch works very hard to connect.
When cellular connectivity in the area
is low, it may become warm and give
itself an automatic cooling period. When
cooling, the watch shows that it is in
airplane mode and cannot connect a call.
After cooling, the watch will return to the
watch face visual or give you the option to
press “reload.”

With SPIRIT/SPIRIT Petite specically, the
watch works very hard to connect. When cellular
connectivity in the area is low, it may become warm
and give itself an automatic cooling period. When
cooling, the watch shows that it is in airplane mode
and cannot connect a call. After cooling, the watch
will return to the watch face visual or give you the
option to press „reload.“

4. HOW TO TAKE CARE OF
YOUR WATCH
Always clean your Smartwatcher SPIRIT/SPIRIT
Petite with a clean, soft cloth.
If the device was exposed to clear water (fresh water),
dry it carefully with a clean, soft cloth. If the device
was exposed to other liquids, such as salt water,
swimming pool water, soapy water, oil, perfume,
sunscreen, hand cleanser, or chemical products such
as cosmetics, contrary to an existing IP classication,
which only applies to clear fresh water, you should
rinse it with fresh water and dry it carefully with a
clean, soft cloth. Contact with other liquids can affect
both the performance and appearance of the device.

2. EINRICHTEN DER NOTRUF-UHR
Schritt 1 - Laden
Laden Sie Ihre Uhr vollständig auf, bevor Sie sie zum
ersten Mal benutzen.
1. Stecken Sie das Ladekabel in den USB-Netzadap-
ter und schliessen Sie diesen an die Steckdose an.
2. Legen Sie die Uhr auf die Ladestation. Es dauert etwa
2 Stunden, bis die Uhr vollständig aufgeladen ist.
Schritt 2 - Registrieren und aktivieren Sie Ihre Uhr
online
1. Schalten Sie Ihre Uhr ein, indem Sie den Einschalt-
knopf 32-3 Sekunden lang gedrückt halten.
2. Öffnen Sie mit einem Internet-Browser auf Ihrem
Computer die Seite my.smartwatcher.com.
3. Geben Sie die IMEI- und ICCID-Nummern Ihrer Uhr
ein, die auf dem Zifferblatt angezeigt werden 1.
4. Sie können nun den Registrierungs- und Aktivie-
rungsprozess Schritt für Schritt vornehmen.

Wenn Sie die Handynummer eines Helfers hinzufügen,
erhält diese Person eine SMS mit einem Link zum
Herunterladen und Installieren unserer kostenlosen
Smartwatcher-App. Nach der Installation der App müssen
die Helfer die Einladung annehmen. Jetzt können diese
während eines aktiven Alarms den Standort der Person
sehen, die die Uhr trägt.

Um Ihre Überwachungseinstellungen und die Sicher-
heitsfunktionen zu verwalten, besuchen Sie bitte das
Uhr Verwaltungsportal unter my.smartwatcher.com
3. SO VERWENDEN SIE IHRE UHR
Einschalten
Halten Sie die Ein-/Ausschalttaste 32-3 Sekunden
lang gedrückt.
