Warranty:
This produ t is overed by a Warranty in addition to all rights available to you by statute.
Our goods ome with guarantees that annot be ex luded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a
repla ement or refund for a major failure and for ompensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You
are also entitled to have the goods repaired or repla ed if the goods fail to be of a eptable quality and the failure does
not amount to a major failure.
The Warranty is for a period of two years (24 months) from the date of pur hase for Parts and Labour, however,
Dishwashers will have a 10 Year Parts and Labour Warranty on the Ele tri Wash Motor.
Refrigeration applian es will have an additional three years (36 months) Warranty, after the initial 24 months, for Parts only
on the Sealed System eg; ompressor, ondenser, evaporator, filter dryer and pipe work, subje t to the following onditions;
The onditions mentioned above are;
1.
that the pur haser arefully follows all instru tions pa ked with the produ t;
2.
that the pur haser arefully follows the installation instru tions provided and omplies with the ele tri al wiring
regulations, gas and/or plumbing odes;
3.
that the pur haser arefully follows the instru tions provided in the owner’s handbook relating to the
proper use and are of the produ t and does not use the produ t for any purpose other than the
Domesti , indoor use, for whi h it has been designed.
4.
that the produ t was pur hased and installed in Australia;
5.
that this Warranty does not extend to:
a.
Optional glass lids for hobs apart from laims whi h relate to me hani al or physi al damage thereof at
the date of pur hase;
b.
Light globes (with the ex eption of mi rowave oven globes);

Damage to erami glass aused by liquid or solid spillovers, la k of maintenan e or impa t. Please
read the booklet explaining about liquids ontaining sugar;
d.
Damage to the surfa e oatings aused by leaning or maintenan e using produ ts not re ommended by
the owners handbook;
e.
Defe ts aused by normal wear and tear, a ident, negligen e, alteration or misuse.
f.
A produ t dismantled, repaired or servi ed by any servi eperson other than an authorised employee or
agent of Smeg Australia Pty Ltd;
g.
The servi ing of Freestanding Mi rowaves under this Warranty does not over in home servi e and is
limited to the applian e being taken to the nearest Servi e Agent.
h.
The provision of servi e under this Warranty is limited by the boundary of the nearest agent’s area.
Travelling ost in urred for servi e outside this area is not overed by this Warranty and will in ur
ommer ial ost to be paid by the ustomer regulated by the number of kilometres travelled beyond the
servi e area.
For servi e, please onta t your lo al Smeg Australia Pty Ltd offi e or dealer/retailer from whom you pur hased the
produ t. If you are unable to establish the date of pur hase, or if the fault is not overed by this Warranty, or if
the produ t is found to be in working order, you will be required to bear all servi e all harges.
