RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR PROPERTY
DAMAGE DUE TO CHEMICAL EXPOSURE.
• Follow all instructions and precautions when using this mister.
• Read and follow all instructions and precautions on chemical manufacturer’s label of chemicals used in this mister.
• Use the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as recommended by the chemical manufacturer and/or refer to the
chemical Safety Data Sheet (SDS) of the chemical being used. This includes at least goggles, gloves, and protective clothing.
Failure to use appropriate PPE could result in chemical exposure through skin contact, eye contact, inhalation, or other means.
• Prior to initial use, or after extended storage or any possibly damaging event, such as a fall, always inspect the mister for
damage, and test it with plain water to check for proper function, prior to using the mister with chemical.
• Always inspect the nozzle and connection before each use. A damaged nozzle or loose connection could result in an
uncontrolled high-pressure discharge of chemical.
• Do not mist near open flame, hot surfaces, or anything that could vaporize the mist. Doing so could create a dangerous
chemical atmosphere.
• Never use caustics, bleach, acids, hot water, or pressure-producing chemicals in this mister.
• Keep the mister and all chemicals out of the reach of children and pets.
•
Only mist when the air is calm (no wind or air movement) to prevent chemical mist from drifting onto non-targeted surfaces.
• Never spray towards other people or pets.
• Never store chemicals in the mister.
• Store or dispose of any unused chemicals as instructed by the chemical manufacturer due to the potential for a hazard or
environmental damage from a spill or leak, and/or refer to the disposal criteria referenced in the Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
• Clean and rinse out the mister after each use to avoid unintended chemical exposure and prevent contamination of
subsequent applications.
• Store mister in a warm, dry, dust-free location out of direct sunlight.
• Only use water based Ready-to-Use or concentrate insecticides in the Mistex. DO NOT USE BLEACH.
Battery acid leakage can cause personal injury and cause damage
to the product and surrounding property. If battery leakage occurs,
thoroughly wash any affected skin, making sure to keep battery
acid away from eyes, ears, nose and mouth. Immediately wash
any clothing or surfaces that come in contact with leaked battery
acid. If a chemical burn occurs or if irritation persists, seek medical
attention. Dispose according to local governing bodies.
Never mix old and new batteries or different brands of batteries.
Replace all batteries at the same time. Never mix alkaline, standard
(carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries with this
product. Never dispose of batteries in fire, as they may leak and
explode. Always remove exhausted batteries from the product.
Batteries are to be inserted following polarity marking on the
product. Remove batteries before extended storage.
How to Clean the Mister:
Step 1. Empty the Reservoir.
NOTE: Dispose of the
chemicals according
to your local governing
