REPLACEMENT OF VALI FLUID PIPE

2 VALI Reperation
Instruction – Replacement of Vali Fluid Pipe
Repeat the above steps and
remove the R/H side cover.
Slide the L/H side cover
away from the main body
ensuring that the Earth
lead is disconnected.
Remove the L/H side
cover by removing the
Hole Plugs and loosening
the four screws.

PLEASE NOTE!
FOR CLARITY,
THE VERTICAL STRAP IS REMOVED
IN THE FOLLOWING PHOTOS

Drill out the 2 x Silver
Rivets on the upper part
of the vertical strap as
shown, using a 3.5mm
Drill bit.
Remove the 4 x M4x10
Black Taptite Screws from
the Trim Plate in front of
the nozzle.
Remove power lead,
then disconnect battery
leads. Also remove Fluid
Sensor and Fluid Bottle to
prevent possible damage
during procedure.

Instruction – Replacement of Vali Fluid Pipe
Now remove the 2 x
M4x10 Taptites that hold
the small metal bracket
to the Heat Exchanger as
shown.
Gently manoeuver the
Vertical Strap away from
the left-hand side of the
machine, using a small
screwdriver to hold the
strap in position. This will
provide better access for
this procedure.
Now remove the 2 x
M4x10 Black Taptite
Screws holding the
Vertical Strap in place at
the top.

Locate the brass nut
connecting the uid pipe
to the heat exchanger.
Then loosen with a
spanner so that the
pipe can be removed as
shown.
Using size 10 and 12
spanners, loosen the
Brass Nut connecting the
Non-Return Valve to the
steel uid pipe as shown.
You can now gently lever
the Non-Return Valve
out from the chassis as
shown.

Instruction – Replacement of Vali Fluid Pipe
Slide the small metal
bracket onto the pipe
and secure with the 2 x
M4x10 Taptites that were
removed earlier. (You may
need to cut the old pipe
to remove the bracket
from it).
Insert the bent end of the
pipe into the brass tting
on the Heat Exchanger
and secure with the ‘olive’
and ‘nut’.
Take your replacement
pipe and brass tting.
Bend the pipe as shown
and slide the ‘olive’ and
‘nut’ of the brass tting
onto the pipe.

Now bend the pipe
around the Heat
Exchanger as shown.
Using the other ‘olive’
and ‘nut’, re-connect the
uid pipe to the one-way
valve using a size 10 & 12
spanner to tighten.
Now gently place the one-
way valve assembly back
behind the metal tabs of
the chassis & underneath
the Heat Exchanger

Re-connect Power
Lead and power
up machine. Then
re-connect Battery
Leads and 6-Way
Connector and ensure
Fluid Sensor and Fluid
Bottle are correctly
re-connected and
installed.
Re-attach the Trim Plate
using the 4 x M4x10
Black Taptite Screws
removed earlier.
Now re-attach the top
edge of the Vertical
Strap using the 2 x Silver
Counter-sunk Rivets
(Supplied) and the 2 x
M4x10 Black Taptite
Screws as shown.

Slide L/H and R/H covers
back into place ensuring
tabs on inside of each
cover are correctly aligned
with the central vertical
strap. Also, ensure that
the earth leads are re-
connected on both covers.
Finally, tighten the 4 x
screws and replace the 4 x
white hole plugs (L/H) and
repeat for the 2 x screws/
hole plugs on the R/H.
