1. Sicherheitshinweise
Lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung vor der Inbe-
triebnahme des Airfresh Clean Connect 500 sorg-
fältig durch. Der Airfresh Clean Connect 500 ist
nicht für den kommerziellen Gebrauch bestimmt.
Achtung!
• Vor Inbetriebnahme ist zu überprüfen, ob die
Spannungsangabe mit der örtlichen Netz-
spannung übereinstimmt.
•
Dieses Gerät darf von Kindern ab 8 Jahren so-
wie von Personen mit eingeschränkten physi-
schen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkei-
ten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen nur
benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder
bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Geräts
unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultie-
renden Gefahren verstehen. Reinigung und
Gerätewartung dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne
Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt werden. Kinder
dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
• Schalten Sie das Gerät immer aus und ziehen
Sie das Netzkabel aus der Steckdose, bevor
Sie das Gerät bewegen oder transportieren.
• Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht mit defektem
Netzstecker oder Netzkabel.
• Versprühen Sie keine brennbaren Materialien,
wie zum Beispiel Insektengifte oder Duftstoffe
um den Airfresh Clean Connect 500.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass Luftein- und Luftaus-
lass nicht verdeckt wird.
• Führen Sie keine Gegenstände in den Luftein-
lass des Gerätes ein. Es kann das Gerät be-
schädigen oder Verletzungen verursachen.
• Benutzen oder lagern Sie das Gerät nicht
dort, wo es in eine Badewanne, ein Waschbe-
cken, Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeit fallen
kann. Greifen Sie nicht nach einem Gerät, das

in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeit gefallen ist.
Greifen Sie nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüs-
sigkeiten, auch wenn das Gerät zu diesem
Zeitpunkt nicht angeschlossen ist. Bei Feuch-
tigkeit besteht Stromschlaggefahr, wenn das
Gerät wieder an die Steckdose angeschlossen
wird. Feuchtigkeit mit einem trockenen Tuch
abwischen. Den Stecker oder das Gerät nicht
mit nassen Händen anfassen.
Vorsicht!
• Wenn die zum Betrieb des Airfresh Clean Con-
nect 500 verwendete Steckdose nicht ord-
nungsgemäß angeschlossen ist, wird der Ste-
cker des Geräts heiß. Vergewissern Sie sich,
dass Sie für das Gerät eine ordnungsgemäß
angeschlossene Steckdose verwenden.
• Stellen Sie keine Gegenstände auf den Air-
fresh Clean Connect 500, und setzen Sie sich
nicht darauf.
• Verwenden Sie nur den Originalfilter von
Soehnle, der speziell für diesen Airfresh Clean
Connect 500 geeignet ist.
• Benutzen Sie den Airfresh Clean Connect 500
nicht nach dem Gebrauch von Räuchermit-
teln zum Insektenschutz oder an Orten, an
denen Ölrückstände oder chemische Dämpfe
vorhanden sind bzw. Räucherstäbchen ver-
brannt werden.
• Verwenden Sie den Airfresh Clean Connect
500 nicht in der Nähe von Heizungen,
offenen Kaminen oder gasbetriebenen Vor-
richtungen.
• Stellen Sie sich nicht auf das Gerät.

4. Bestimmungsgemäße
Verwendung
Der Airfresh Clean Connect 500 dient aus-
schließlich der Reinigung der Raumluft.
5. Die Luftreinigung
Mit dem Soehnle Kombifilter entfernen Sie eine
Vielzahl unerwünschter Partikel und Gerüche
aus der Raumluft. Durch zuschalten des UV-C
Lichtes werden Mikroorganismen und Viren zer-
stört.
Abwaschbarer Vorfilter:
Erfasst die ersten Staub- und Allergenpartikel.
EPA Filter / Aktivkohlefilter:
Erfasst Staub, Rauch, Pollen und weitere
Allergene. Filtert Gerüche aus der Luft.
UV-C Licht:
Zerstört Mikroorganismen wie Keime, Viren, Bak-
terien und Pilze (wie Schimmel-Toxine).
6. Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
1. Stellen Sie das Gerät aufrecht auf einen fes-
ten, ebenen Untergrund. Halten Sie einen ei-
nem halben Meter Mindestabstand vom Ge-
rät zu jeder Wand ein.
2. Um eine optimale Leistung des Geräts zu ge-
währleisten, stellen Sie sicher, dass die Luft-
einlässe und Luftaustrittsöffnungen nicht blo-
ckiert sind.

3. Prüfen Sie das Netzkabel, um sicherzustellen,
dass es frei von Beschädigungen ist.
4. Schließen Sie das Netzkabel an eine Steckdo-
se an.
7. Soehnle Connect-App
Um Funktionen wie Fernsteuerung oder Daten-
aufzeichnung ihres Soehnle Clean Connect 500
nutzen zu können, empfiehlt es sich das Gerät
mit der Soehnle Connect-App zu verbinden.
1. Laden und installieren Sie die kostenlose
Soehnle Connect-App auf Ihrem Smartphone
oder Tablet. Scannen Sie hierzu den QR-Code
um direkt zur App zu gelangen. Alternativ fin-
den Sie diese auch auf Google Play oder im
App Store.
Android™: ≥ 4.4.4 / iOS®: ≥ 9.0 / Bluetooth®: ≥ 4.0
2. Aktivieren Sie Bluetooth® auf Ihrem Smartpho-
ne oder Tablet und starten Sie die Soehnle
Connect-App. Wenn Sie die App zum ersten
Mal starten, werden Sie automatisch durch
den Prozess der Verbindung eines Soehnle-
Endgerätes geführt. Bitte achten Sie beim Ver-
binden darauf, dass Bluetooth® an ihrem Clean
Connect 500 aktiviert ist. Beachten Sie hierfür
den Punkt "
Bluetooth® - Verbindung"
Wenn Sie die Soehnle Connect-App bereits benutzt ha-
ben, gehen Sie zum Verbinden in der App in das „Haupt-
menü“, tippen Sie auf „meine Geräte“ und dann auf „Ge-
räte hinzufügen“
8. Täglicher Gebrauch
und Betrieb
PM2,5 Sensor
Die aktuelle Luftqualität wird stetig ermittelt und
auf dem Display nummerisch angezeigt. Der an-
gezeigte PM2,5 Wert ist die Feinstaubbelastung
(50% der Teilchen < 2,5µm) in µg/m³. Der leucht-
ende LED-Ring an der Oberseite zeigt Ihnen den
aktuellen Gra
d durch verschiedene Farben an:
ROT = hohe Belastung (>150 µg/m³)
PINK = mittlere Belastung (101-150 µg/m³)
LILA = geringe Belastung (51- 100 µg/m³)
BLAU = keine Belastung (0- 50 µg/m³)
Ein- und Ausschalten
Drücken Sie die EIN/AUS-Taste (M), um
den Airfresh Clean Connect 500 ein- oder
auszuschalten.
Einstellen der Betriebsdauer
Durch Drücken der Taste (L), können Sie
die gewünschte Betriebsdauer einstellen.
Wählen Sie zwischen 2, 4 und 8 Stunden.
Das Gerät schaltet nach Ablauf der Zeit au-
tomatisch ab. Die gewählte Betriebsdauer
wird auf der Steuerungskonsole angezeigt.
Ist keine Betriebsdauer gewählt (keine
Kontrollleuchte leuchtet), läuft der Air-
fresh Clean Connect 500 im Dauerbetrieb.
Ändern der Lüftergeschwindigkeit
Drücken Sie die Taste (J), um die
Lüftergeschwindigkeit und somit die ge-
wünschte Intensität des Luftausstoß aus-
zuwählen:
Niedrig (I) – Mittel (II) –
Hoch (III) – Turbo (IV)

Automatikmodus
Durch das drücken der Taste (K) wird der
Clean Connect 500 in den Automatikmo-
dus gestellt. In diesem Modus passt das
Gerät automatisch die Lüftergeschwindig-
keit im Verhältnis zur Luftqualität im Raum
an. Somit erreichen Sie immer die best
mögliche Luftqualität.
Bluetooth®-Verbindung
Sie können den Airfresh Clean Connect
500 mit einem Bluetooth®-fähigen Mobilge-
rät verbinden, auf dem die Soehnle Con-
nect-App installiert ist. Drücken Sie hierzu
kurz die Taste (I) auf ihrem Clean Connect
500. Sie können sehen ob das Bluetooth®
eingeschaltet ist wenn auf dem Display des
Clean Connect 500 das -Symbol auf-
leuchtet. Durch erneutes drücken der Taste
schalten Sie Bluetooth® wieder aus.
Ist der Airfresh Clean Connect 500 mit einem Mo-
bilgerät verbunden, kann er sowohl über die Steue-
rungskonsole des Gehäuses, als auch über die Soehn-
le Connet-App gesteuert werden.
UV-C Lampe und Nachtmodus
Drücken Sie die Taste (H) einmal um die
UV-C Lampe im Inneren des Airfresh
Clean Connect 500 anzuschalten (UV-C
Kontrollleuchte leuchtet). Durch erneutes
Drücken aktivieren Sie den Nachtmodus
ohne die UV-C Lampe auszuschalten (UV-
C Kontrollleuchte leuchtet, NIGHT Kont-
rollleuchte blinkt). Durch weiteres Drü-
cken der Taste (H) können Sie die UV-C
Lampe abschalten (UV-C Kontrollleuchte
ist aus, NIGHT Kontrollleuchte blinkt) oder
beides ausschalten UV-C Kontrollleuchte
ist aus, NIGHT Kontrollleuchte ist aus).
Nachtmodus
Im Nachtmodus können Sie den Airfresh
Clean Connect 500 laufen lassen, ohne
durch zusätzliche Lichtquellen gestört zu
werden. Wenn Sie den Nachtmodus akti-
vieren werden nach kurzer Zeit alle Kont-
rollleuchte n am Gerät ausgeschaltet, oh-
ne dass sich das Gerät abschaltet. Zuvor
getätigte Einstellungen der Betriebsdauer
und der Lüftergeschwindigkeit bleiben
bestehen. Das Aktivieren des Nachtmo-
dus wird durch ein Blinken der Kontroll-
leuchte eingeleitet, bevor sich die Be-
leuchtung ganz abschaltet.
Das Gerät kann entweder im Nachtmodus oder im Au-
tomatikmodus laufen. Diese beiden Modi können nicht
gleichzeitig aktiviert werden.
9. Reinigung und Pflege
Reinigung des Kombifilters
Die regelmäßige Reinigung des Kombifilters (1x
im Monat) garantiert einen störungsfreien Be-
trieb des Airfresh Clean Connect 500 und eine
größtmögliche Raumluftqualität.
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Schalten Sie das Gerät vor jeder Reinigung
aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.
2. Drehen Sie das Gerät auf den Kopf und stel-
len Sie es verkehrt herum auf einen festen
Untergrund (2.1).
3. Öffnen Sie den Schraubverschluss auf der
Unterseite des Geräts (2.2).
4. Heben Sie den Gehäuseboden ab (2.3).
5. Entnehmen Sie den Kombifilter (2.4) und rei-
nigen Sie Ihn. Setzen Sie den Filter wieder ein
und vergewissern Sie sich dass er richtig ein-
gesetzt ist.
Der Vorfilter ist mit Klettverschluss am Filter befestigt.
Reinigen Sie den Vorlter unter ießendem Wasser. Verge-
wissern Sie sich, dass der Vorlter trocken ist, bevor Sie ihn
wiederam EPA-Filterbefestigen.
EPA und Aktivkohlefilter
sollten nur mit einem Staubsauger gereinigt werden.

6. Verschließen Sie das Gerät und drehen den
Schraubverschluss fest. Drehen Sie das Gerät
wieder richtig herum und stellen Sie es auf
einen festen Untergrund.
7. Schließen Sie das Netzkabel wieder an eine
Steckdose an und schalten Sie das Gerät ein.
Reinigung des Gehäuses
Schalten Sie das Gerät vor jeder Reinigung aus
und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker. Reinigen Sie das
Gehäuse des Airfresh Clean Connect 500 mit ei-
nem leicht angefeuchteten Tuch.
10. Ersetzen des Filters
Der Kombifilter sollte nach ca. 4320 Betriebs-
stunden durch einen Neuen ersetzt werden.
Nach ca. 4320 Betriebsstunden blinkt automa-
tisch die Filterwechselanzeige (REPLACE Filter)
auf der Steuerungskonsole des Geräts. Verwen-
den Sie ausschließlich die Original Soehnle Filter!
Um den Filter zu wechseln, gehen Sie wie folgt
vor:
1. Schalten Sie das Gerät und ziehen Sie den
Netzstecker.
2. Öffnen Sie das Gerät wie zuvor in Kapitel 7
beschrieben und entnehmen Sie den Kombi-
filter (2.4).
3. Setzen Sie nun den neuen Kombifilter in das
Gehäuse ein. Vergewissern Sie sich dass die
neue Filtereinheit richtig eingesetzt ist.
4. Verschließen Sie das Gerät und drehen den
Schraubverschluss fest. Drehen Sie das Gerät
wieder richtig herum und stellen Sie es auf
einen festen Untergrund.
5. Schließen Sie das Netzkabel wieder an eine
Steckdose an und schalten Sie das Gerät ein.
6. Drücken Sie die rote "Reset Taste" um den Be-
triebsstundenzähler zurück zu setzten. Die
Taste befindet sich hinter den drei Zugangs-
schlitzen an der Seite des Produktes (1.1). Um
die Taste zu betätigen benutzen Sie bitte ei-
nen dünnen Gegenstand (z.B. eine Büroklam-
mer). Ein Signalton ertönt und die Kontroll-
leuchte der Filterwechselanzeige erlischt.
Der Betriebsstundenzähler ist nun wieder zu-
rückgesetzt.
11. Transport und Lagerung
Transport
WARNUNG!
Schalten Sie das Gerät vor dem Transport immer
aus. Ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker aus der
Steckdose.
Lagerung
Wir empfehlen eine sorgfältige Reinigung Ihres
Airfresh Clean Connect 500, bevor Sie das Gerät
aufbewahren. Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass alle
Teile vor der Lagerung sauber und trocken sind.
Lagern Sie den Airfresh Clean Connect 500 an
einem kühlen trockenen Platz.
12. Fehlerbehebung
Bevor Sie eine der folgende n Prüfungen durch-
führen, schalten Sie das Gerät aus und ziehen
Sie den Netzstecker.
Problem: Das Gerät funktioniert nicht
• Kontrollieren Sie, ob der Airfresh Clean Connect
500 an einer Stromquelle angeschlossen ist
• Kontrollieren Sie, ob der Filter richtig sitzt.
• Kontrollieren Sie, ob die Bodenabdeckung
richtig sitzt und mit dem Schraubverschluss
fest verschlossen ist.

Problem: Unzureichender Luftstrom
• Kontrollieren Sie, ob der Filter sauber ist. Bei
Verschmutzung reinigen Sie diesen.
• Kontrollieren Sie, ob die Luftein- und -austritt-
söffnungen verstopft oder durch Hindernisse
blockiert sind.
Problem: Übermäßiger Lärm
• Kontrollieren Sie, ob sich Fremdkörper im Ven-
tilator befinden und entfernen Sie diese ge-
gebenenfalls.
• Kontrollieren Sie, ob der Filter sauber ist. Bei
Verschmutzung reinigen Sie diesen.
• Kontrollieren Sie, ob der Filter richtig sitzt.
• Kontrollieren Sie, ob das Gerät sicher und ge-
rade auf einem festen Untergrund steht.

16. Gewährleistung
Auf das vorliegende Qualitätsprodukt gewährt
Ihnen die Leifheit AG 2 Jahre Gewährleistung ab
Kaufdatum (bzw. bei Bestellungen ab Erhalt der
Ware). Die Gewährleistungsansprüche müssen
Sie unverzüglich nach Auftreten des Defekts in-
nerhalb der Gewährleistungszeit geltend ma-
chen. Die Gewährleistung erstreckt sich auf die
Beschaffenheit der Produkte.
Ausgeschlossen von der Gewährleistung sind:
1. Gebrauchsbedingte oder sonstige natürlich
hervorgerufene Verschleißmängel,
2. Schäden durch unsachgemäßen Gebrauch
bzw. Umgang (z.B. Schlag, Stoß, Fall),
3. Schäden durch Nichtbeachtung der vorge-
gebenen Bedienungshinweise. Im Gewährleis-
tungsfall gewährt Ihnen Leifheit nach eigenem
Ermessen entweder die Reparatur defekter Tei-
le oder den Austausch des Produktes. Falls eine
Reparatur nicht durchführbar ist und ein iden-
tisches Produkt zum Zwecke des Austauschs
nicht mehr im Sortiment verfügbar ist, erhalten
Sie ein möglichst gleichwertiges Ersatzprodukt.
Eine Rückerstattung des Kaufpreises ist im Ge-

1. Safety instructions
Please carefully read this operating manual prior
to start-up operation of the Airfresh Clean Con-
nect 500. The Airfresh Clean Connect 500 is not
intended for commercial use.
Attention!
• Please ensure prior to start-up operation that
the voltage information corresponds to the
local mains voltage.
• This device may be used by children over the
age of 8 and persons with reduced physical,
sensory, or mental abilities or with a lack of
experience and knowledge only if they are
supervised or have been instructed in the
safe use of the device as well as the resulting
risks. Cleaning and device maintenance may
not be performed by children that are not su-
pervised. Children may not play with the de-
vice.
• Always switch off the device and disconnect
the power cord from the power plug prior to
moving or transporting the device.
• Do not operate the device if the power plug
or power cord is defective.
• Do not spray flammable materials, e.g. pesti-
cides or fragrances near the Airfresh Clean
Connect 500.
• Ensure that the air inlet and air outlet are not
covered.
• Do not insert objects into the air inlet of the

of moisture when the device is reconnected
to the power outlet. Use a dry cloth to wipe
moisture off. Do not touch the power plug or

Attention!
• If the power outlet used to operate the Air-
fresh Clean Connect 500 is not properly con-
nected, the power plug of the device will get
hot. Ensure that you are using a properly con-
nected power outlet for the device.
• Do not place any objects on top of the Air-
fresh Clean Connect 500 and do not sit on it.
• Use only the original filter by Soehnle, which
is specifically suited for this Airfresh Clean
Connect 500.
• Do not use the Airfresh Clean Connect 500 af-
ter using incense for insect protection or in
places with oil residue or chemical vapours or
where incense sticks are burnt.
• Do not use the Airfresh Clean Connect 500 near
heaters, fireplaces, or gas-powered devices.
• Do not stand on the device.

4. Intended use
The Airfresh Clean Connect 500 is intended ex-
clusively for cleaning room air.
5. Air cleaning
With the Soehnle combination filter you can re-
move a multitude of unwanted particles and
odours from your room air. Micro-organisms and
viruses are destroyed by adding UV-C light.
Washable pre-filter:
Captures the first dust and allergen particles.
EPA filter / Activated carbon filter:
Captures dust, smoke, pollen and other aller-
gens. Filters odours from the air.
UV-C Light:
Destroys micro-organisms, e.g. germs, viruses,
bacteria, and mould (e.g. mould toxins)
6. Prior to first use
1. Place the device upright on a solid and level
surface. Keep a minimum distance of half a
metre from the device to each wall.
2. To ensure optimum performance of the de-
vice, please ensure that the air inlets and air
outlets are not covered.
3. Inspect the power cord to ensure that it is
not damaged.
4. Connect the power cord to a power outlet.

7. Soehnle Connect app
In order to use functions such as remote control
or data recording of your Soehnle Clean Con-
nect 500, it is recommended to connect the de-
vice to the Soehnle Connect app.
1. Download and install the free Soehnle Con-
nect app on your smartphone or tablet. Scan
the QR code to go directly to the app. Alter-
natively, you can find it on Google Play or the
App Store.

2. Activate
Bluetooth® on your smartphone or
tablet and start the Soehnle Connect app.
When you start the app for the first time, you
will be automatically guided through the
process for connecting a Soehnle appliance.
Please ensure that
Bluetooth® is activated on
your Clean Connect 500 when connecting.

Bluetooth® connection"
If you have already used the Soehnle Connect app, to con-
nect go to the “Main menu” in the Soehnle Connect app
and press “My devices” and then “Add device”.
8. Daily use and operation
PM2.5 sensor
The current air quality is determined continu-
ously and displayed numerically on the display.
The displayed PM 2.5 value is the fine dust load
(50% of particles < 2.5μm) in μg/m³. The lumi-
nous LED ring on the top shows the current de-
gree by means of different colours:
RED = high load (>150µg/m³)
PINK = medium load (101 -150 µg/m³)
PURPLE = low load (51- 100 µg/m³)
BLUE = no load (0 -50 µg/m³)
Switching on and off
Press the ON/OFF button (M) to turn the
Airfresh Clean Connect 500 on or off.
Setting the operating time
Press the (L) button to set the desired
operating time. Choose between 2, 4 and
8 hours. The device switches off automat-
ically after the time has elapsed. The se-
lected operating time is displayed on the
control console. If no operating time is
selected (no indicator light is on) the Air-
fresh Clean Connect 500 is in continuous
operation.
Changing the fan speed
Press the button (J) to select the fan
speed and thus the desired intensity of
the air ejection:
Low (I) – Medium (II) –
High (III) – Turbo (IV)
Automatic mode
Pressing the (K) button puts the Clean
Connect 500 into automatic mode. In
this mode, the unit automatically adjusts
the fan speed in relation to the air quality
in the room. Thus, you always achieve the
best possible air quality.
Bluetooth® connection
You can connect the Airfresh Clean Con-
nect 500 to a
Bluetooth® enabled mobile
device that has the Soehnle Connect app
installed. To do so, briefly press the (I)
button on your Clean Connect 500. You
can see if the
Bluetooth® is switched on

If the Airfresh Clean Connect 500 is connected to a mo-
bile device, it can be controlled via the control console
of the housing as well as via the Soehnle Connect app.
UV-C lamp and night-time mode
Press the button (H) once to switch on
the UV-C lamp inside the Airfresh Clean
Connect 500 (UV-C indicator is on). Press
again to activate the night-time mode
without turning off the UV-C lamp (UV-C
indicator light is on, NIGHT indicator light
flashing). Press the (H) button again to
turn off the UV-C lamp (UV-C indicator
light is off, NIGHT indicator light flashes),
or turn off both (UV-C indicator light is off,
NIGHT indicator light is off).
Night mode
In the night-time mode, you can run the
Airfresh Clean Connect 500 without be-
ing disturbed by additional light sources.
Once you activate the night-time mode,
all indicator lights on the device will soon
be turned off without the device switch-
ing off. All previous settings for operating
time and fan speed will remain un-
changed. Activation of the night-time
mode is indicated by flashing of the indi-
cator light before the illumination switch-
es off completely.
The unit can run either in night-time mode or in au-
tomatic mode. These two modes cannot be activated
at the same time.
9. Cleaning and care
Cleaning the combination filter
Regular cleaning of the combination filter (1x
month) ensures faultless operation of the Air-
fresh Clean Connect 500 and the greatest possi-
ble room air quality.
Proceed as follows:
1. Switch the device off prior to cleaning and
disconnect the power plug.
2. Turn the device upside down and place it on
a solid surface (2.1).
3. Open the screw cap on the bottom of the
device (2.2).
4. Remove the housing base by lifting it up
(2.3).
5. Remove the combination filter (2.4) and
clean it. Replace the filter and ensure that it is
inserted correctly.
The pre-filter is attached to the lter with a hook and loop
fastener. Clean the pre-lter under running water. Ensure
that the pre-lter is dry before reattaching into the EPA
lter. EPA and activated carbon filter should be cleaned
only with a vacuum cleaner.
6. Close the device and fasten the screw cap.
Turn the device right side up and place it on
a solid surface.
7. Reconnect the power cord to a power outlet
and switch the device on.
Cleaning the housing
Switch the device off prior to cleaning and dis-
connect the power plug. Clean the housing of
Airfresh Clean Connect 500 with a slightly damp
cloth.

10. Replacing the filter
The combination filter should be replaced after
approx. 4320 operating hours. After approx.
4320 operating hours, the filter change indicator
(REPLACE FILTER) flashes automatically on the
control console of the device. Use only original
Soehnle filters!
Proceed as follows to change the filter:
1. Switch the device off and disconnect the
power plug.
2. Open the device as described above in Chap-
ter 7 and remove the combination filter (2.4).
3. Insert the new combination filter into the
housing. Ensure that the new filter unit is in-
serted correctly.
4. Close the device and fasten the screw cap.
Turn the device right side up and place it on
a solid surface.
5. Reconnect the power cord to a power outlet
and switch the device on.
6. Press the red "Reset button" to reset the oper-
ating hours counter. The button is located be-
hind the three access slots on the side of the
product (1.1). To press the button, use a thin
object (for example, a paper clip). A signal
sounds and the filter reset indicator light disap-
pears. The operating time metre is now reset.
11. Transport and storage
Transport
WARNING!
Always switch the device off before transporting
it. Always disconnect the power plug from the
power outlet.
Storage
We recommend carefully cleaning your Airfresh
Clean Connect 500 before storing the device.
Ensure that all parts are clean and dry prior to
storing the device. Store the Airfresh Clean Con-
nect 500 in a cool and dry place.
12. Troubleshooting
Switch the device off and disconnect the power
plug before performing the following tests.
Problem: The device does not work
• Ensure that the Airfresh Clean Connect 500 is
connected to a power source.
• Ensure that the filter is inserted correctly.
• Ensure that the bottom cover is inserted cor-
rectly and close tightly with the screw cap.
Problem: Insufficient airflow
• Ensure that the filter is clean. Please clean the
filter if it is soiled.
• Ensure that air inlet and air outlet are not
blocked or obstructed.
Problem: Excessive noise
• Ensure that no foreign objects are located in
the fan and remove them if necessary.
• Ensure that the filter is clean. Please clean the
filter if it is soiled.
• Ensure that the filter is inserted correctly.
• Ensure that the device is placed securely and
evenly on a solid surface.

16. Warranty
Leifheit AG offers a 2 year warranty for this quali-
ty product as of the purchase date (or in case of
orders, as of receipt of the goods). You must as-
sert the warranty claims immediately after the
defect has occurred within the warranty period.
The warranty covers the quality of the products.
The following are excluded from the warranty:
1. Wear caused by use or other natural wear.
2. Damage caused by improper use or handling
(e.g. impact, shock, drop).
3. Damage caused by non-compliance with
these operating instructions. In case of a warran-
ty claim, Leifheit, at its own discretion, either re-
pairs the defective components or replaces the
product. If a repair cannot be performed and an
identical product is no longer available in the
product range for the purpose of replacement,
you will receive a replacement product of the
closest equivalent value.
Reimbursement of the purchase price is not
possible in case of a warranty claim. Moreover,
this warranty does not grant any claims for dam-
