9. This heating pad is intended for use on top of your body. Do not sit,
fold, crush or lie on top of the heating pad. Never place heated surface
between yourself, chair, sofa, bed, pillow or any other surface.
10. Carefully examine pad before each use. Discard the pad if it shows any
sign of deterioration.
11. Do not use with liniment, salve or ointment preparations that contain
heat-producting ingredients. Skin burns can result.
12. Do not use a heating pad when symptoms of appendicitis are present.

13. Inspect this product before using it to make sure that there are no
broken parts, missing parts or damaged areas. Do not use the heating

OPERATING AND CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS (continued)
1. Before using the Mobile PowerWrap for the first
time, please charge the battery pack for at least
4 hours for optimal use.
2. Plug the Connector Wire (C) attached to the
Controller (B) into the Adapter (E) and plug the
Adapter into a 120 volt AC electrical outlet to
charge the battery pack.
3. The indicator lights on the Controller (B) will
alert you to the status of charging:
Red + 1 Blue Light = Charging
Red + 2 Blue Lights = 80% Charged
Green + 2 Blue Lights = Fully Charged and
Ready for Use
4. The Mobile PowerWrap is equipped with a custom
4AA NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) battery pack
that is rechargeable for 500 times. The battery
pack never needs to be removed. For optimal
performance, drain the battery pack after each use
and fully recharge to 100% before using again.
5. The Mobile PowerWrap has 2 heat settings, HIGH & LOW, and
maintains the same temperatures as an electric heating pad for
the optimum therapy.
HIGH Heat Setting = 1 hour of battery life
LOW Heat Setting = 2 hours of battery life
6. To turn the Mobile PowerWrap ON, press and hold the POWER button
on the Controller (B) for approximately 2 seconds until the LOW heat
setting light turns blue. For the HIGH heat setting, press the POWER
button once more until the HIGH heat setting light turns blue.
To go back to the LOW heat setting press the POWER button once.
To turn the Mobile PowerWrap OFF, press and hold the POWER button
until all lights are off (approximately 2 seconds).

7. The Controller (B) is equipped with an Integrated
Power Management System that will indicate
when the battery pack is low, when you need to
recharge the battery pack and when the product
has entered into its automatic shut-off period.

*The Mobile PowerWrap is equipped with a
2 hour automatic shut-off safety feature. After
2 hours of use, the product will automatically shut
itself off and will need to be recharged before
using again.
8. Plug the Controller (B) into the Connection Port (D) on the heat pad, and
place the Controller into the elastic strap on the heat pad to secure it in
place. Please ensure that the clip faces out so that you will be able to
easily read the Quick Start Instructions and be able to easily view the
controller settings.
9. Apply the Mobile PowerWrap to the area in need of therapy and enjoy the
portability and convenience of a product that allows you to maintain your
daily schedule AND receive therapy when needed without disruption!

CARE & CLEANING
The Mobile PowerWrap is machine washable!
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Disconnect the controller from the connector port on pad by
removing connector.
Do not pull by cord.
2. Machine wash pad in warm water on gentle cycle; tumble dry on
medium heat, and remove promptly from dryer. Or, hand wash in warm
water and line dry.
3. DO NOT plug in pad until completely dry.
Do not dry clean! Do not use bleach! Do not use wringer!
COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Can I replace the batteries or use another rechargeable battery pack?
A: No, the Mobile PowerWrap comes equipped with a custom 4AA NiMH
battery pack that is rechargeable. You can recharge the battery pack
500 times.

Q: How long will the battery charge last?
A: The battery pack will operate the Mobile PowerWrap for 1 hour on
HIGH and 2 hours on LOW.
Q: All the lights are flashing and the Mobile PowerWrap is no longer hot,
what happened?
A: The 2 hour Automatic Shut off safety feature has been initiated.
Disconnect the Controller from the heat pad and connect it to the
Adapter and recharge the battery pack for 4 hours or until the Green
and 2 Blue lights are flashing indicating that the Mobile PowerWrap is
charged to 100%.

Q: Why is the Red light blinking?
A: This Red light is indicating that the battery pack needs to be
recharged. Disconnect the Controller from the heat pad and connect
it to the Adapter and recharge the battery pack for 4 hours or, until
the Green and 2 Blue lights are flashing indicating that the Mobile
PowerWrap is charged to 100%.
Q: While using the Mobile PowerWrap, the Red/Green lights are
flashing, why?
A: This is a built in feature to indicate that you are approaching Low
Battery Status and will soon need to recharge the battery pack, or
the pad has entered into it’s Auto Shut-Off feature. Disconnect the
Controller from the heat pad and connect it to the Adapter and recharge
the battery pack for 4 hours or, until the Green and 2 Blue lights are
flashing indicating that the Mobile PowerWrap is charged to 100%.
Q: Is the Mobile PowerWrap machine washable?
A: Yes:

WARRANTY
This heating pad is warranted against defective material or workmanship
from the date of purchase. The length of warranty is 2 years.
Any defective part will be repaired or replaced at no charge as long as it
has not been repaired or tampered with and was used according to these
printed instructions. Any charges incurred to ship the product back for
replacement are the sole responsibility of the consumer. This warranty
gives you specific legal rights as well as other rights, which vary from state
to state.

1. Avant l’emploi initial, charger l’unité
d’accumulateurs pendant au moins 4 heures afin
d’obtenir la durée d’utilisation optimale.
2. Relier le cordon connecteur (C) attaché à la
commande (B) à l’adaptateur (E) et brancher ce
dernier sur prise de courant alternatif de 120 volts
en vue de charger l’unité d’accumulateurs.
3. Les voyants lumineux de la commande (B)
signaleront l’état de la charge:
voyant rouge + 1 bleu = charge
voyant rouge + 2 bleus = chargé à 80 %
voyant vert + 2 bleus = chargé à fond, prêt à servir
4. Le coussin électrique portatif comprend une unité
d’accumulateurs à 4 piles NiMH (au nickel-métal-
hydrure) de format AA, rechargeable 500 fois et
qui n’a jamais besoin d’être retirée. Pour obtenir
le rendement optimal, vider totalement la charge
après chaque utilisation pour recharger les piles à
100 % avant l’emploi.
5. Le coussin électrique portatif présente 2 réglages, HIGH (haut) et LOW
(bas), et maintient les mêmes températures qu’un coussin chauffant
classique, pour procurer une excellente thermothérapie.
Réglage HIGH (haut) = 1 heure d’autonomie
Réglage LOW (bas) = 2 heures d’autonomie
6. Pour ALLUMER ce coussin électrique portatif, appuyer sur le bouton
d’ALIMENTATION de la commande (B) pendant environ 2 secondes,
soit jusqu’à ce que le voyant du réglage BAS soit bleu. Pour obtenir le
réglage HAUT, appuyer une nouvelle fois sur le bouton d’ALIMENTATION
jusqu’à ce que le voyant du réglage HAUT soit bleu.
Pour ÉTEINDRE le coussin électrique portatif, appuyer sur le bouton
d’ALIMENTATION sans le relâcher (environ 2 secondes) jusqu’à ce que
tous les voyants lumineux soient éteints.

7. La commande (B) comporte un système intégré de
gestion de l’énergie qui signale quand la charge
de l’unité d’accumulateurs est faible, quand il est
nécessaire de recharger l’unité et quand la période
d’arrêt automatique a débuté.

Après 2 heures d’emploi, il s’éteint automatiquement
et doit être rechargé avant d’être remis en service.
8. Relier la commande au port de raccordement du coussin (D) puis placer
la commande (B) dans la bande élastique du coussin pour l’immobiliser.
S’assurer que la pince soit orientée vers l’extérieur afin de pouvoir lire
aisément les instructions de démarrage rapide et de voir clairement les
réglages de la commande.
9. Poser le coussin électrique portatif sur la zone endolorie puis profiter de
la commodité de ce produit portatif qui permet de vaquer aux occupations
habituelles TOUT en bénéficiant de la thérapie nécessaire!

ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE
Le coussin électrique portatif se lave à la machine!
INSTRUCTIONS DE LAVAGE
1. Débrancher la commande au port de raccordement du coussin en
retirant le connecteur.
Ne pas tirer sur le cordon.
2. Laver le coussin à la machine, à l’eau tiède, au cycle délicat; le sécher
par culbutage à température moyenne et le sortir sans délai de la
sécheuse. Il est également possible de le laver à la main, à l’eau tiède
et de le faire sécher sur une corde à linge.
3. NE brancher le coussin QUE lorsqu’il est absolument sec.
Ne pas le nettoyer à sec! Ne pas le javelliser! Ne pas l’essorer!
QUESTIONS FRÉQUENTES
Q: Puis-je remplacer les piles ou utiliser une autre unité d’accumulateurs
rechargeables?
R: Non, le coussin électrique portatif vient avec une unité d’accumulateurs
rechargeables comprenant 4 piles NiMH. Cette unité d’accumulateurs
peut être rechargée 500 fois. S’il vous faut une unité d’accumulateurs de
rechange, communiquez avec le Service à la clientèle de Kaz au 1-800-
477-0457 ou au [email protected].
Q: Quelle est la durée d’autonomie d’une charge?
R: L’unité d’accumulateurs qui alimente le coussin électrique portatif a une
autonomie d’une heure à HAUT et de deux heures à BAS.
Q: Tous les voyants lumineux scintillent et le coussin électrique portatif
n’est plus chaud. Que s’est-il passé?
R: L’arrêt automatique de sécurité au bout de 2 heures d’utilisation a
été mis en fonction. Débranchez la commande du coussin, reliez-la à
l’adaptateur puis rechargez l’unité d’accumulateurs pendant 4 heures,
soit jusqu’à ce que le voyant vert et les 2 voyants bleus clignotent, signe
que le coussin électrique portatif est chargé à 100 %.

Q: Pourquoi le voyant lumineux rouge clignote-t-il?
R: Ce voyant lumineux rouge signale que l’unité d’accumulateurs
rechargeables a besoin d’être rechargée. Débranchez la commande
du coussin électrique, reliez-la à l’adaptateur puis rechargez l’unité
d’accumulateurs pendant 4 heures, soit jusqu’à ce que le voyant

R: Oui!

INSTRUCCIONES DE CARGA Y OPERACIÓN (continuación)
1. Antes de usar por primera vez el Mobile PowerWrap,
por favor cargue el paquete de pilas por al menos 4
horas para uso óptimo.
2.
Enchufe el Cable Conector (E) del control (B) al
Adaptador (C) y enchufe el Adaptador a un tomacorriente
de 120 V~ CA para cargar el paquete de pilas.
3. Las luces indicadoras en el Control (B) le alertarán
del estado de carga:
Luz Roja + 1 Luz Azul = Cargando
Luz Roja + 2 Luces Azules = 80% de Carga
Luz Verde + 2 Luces Azules = Carga Completa y
Listo para Usarse
4. El Mobile PowerWrap está equipado con un paquete
de 4 pilas AA NiMH (Niquel Metal Híbrido) que se
pueden recargar 500 veces. El paquete de pilas nunca
necesita ser retirado. Para un desempeño óptimo,
agote completamente la carga del paquete de pilas
después de cada uso y recargue al 100% antes de
volver a usarlo.
5. El Mobile PowerWrap tiene 2 ajustes de calor, ALTO y BAJO, y
mantiene las mismas temperaturas que una almohadilla eléctrica de
calor para la mejor terapia.
Ajuste de Calor ALTO = 1 hora de vida útil de la pila
Ajuste de Calor BAJO = 2 horas de vida útil de la pila
6. Para ENCENDER el Mobile PowerWrap, mantenga presionado el botón
de ENCENDIDO en el Control
(B) por aproximadamente 2 segundos
hasta que la luz del ajuste de calor BAJO se encienda azul. Para el
ajuste de calor ALTO, presione una vez más el botón de ENCENDIDO
hasta que la luz del ajuste de calor ALTO se encienda azul.
Para APAGAR el Mobile PowerWrap, mantenga presionado el
botón de ENCENDIDO hasta que todas las luces estén apagadas
(aproximadamente 2 segundos).
