Quick Start Guide

Function: Keeps the SoloProtect Go baery fully charged.
How to use: Insert the SoloProtect Go charger lead into the indicated Micro
USB socket (behind removable secon and indicated by the USB charge symbol).
The maximum baery life is 72 hours if fully charged.
• Minimum two to three hours charging required to reach full charge.
1Charging
Quick Start Guide

Function: Turns the SoloProtect Go On or Off.
How to use:
On: Press the highlighted Power buon for a minimum of three seconds.
The device will emit a beep, and a single vibraon. Once on, SoloProtect Go will
automacally perform a ‘Device Check’.
Off: Press the highlighted Power buon for a minimum of five seconds.
The device will emit two vibraons, and beep.
2Turning On/Off

Function: Check that your device is fully funconal before working alone.
How to use: Perform a quick press of the highlighted power buon to iniate a ‘Device Check’
The device will give three short vibraons to indicate the ‘Device Check’ buon press was
accepted.
(Please note, holding the buon down will turn the device off).
Battery life: The Red LED will flash if the baery is under fieen percent. An absence of a Red
LED on display indicates the device is not suffering from low baery.
Mobile Signal: The Green LED indicates network connecon, SIM card read, and data upload.
The LED’s should be solid inially, then flash for a short me. If the Green LED remains solid
throughout, the device SIM card read has been unsuccessful and/or that the device has no signal.
Geolocation: A flashing blue LED indicates a locaon fix has been successful. A solid blue LED
indicates a locaon fix has not been successful.
• Please note, all LEDs will go out aer a period of inacvity.

4Amber Alert
Quick Start Guide
Function: Use ‘Amber Alert’ to pre-record details of your locaon.
How to use: Press the highlighted telephone icon buon, for a minimum of three
seconds. The device will give three short vibraons to indicate the ‘Amber Alert’
buon press was accepted.
When your ‘Amber Alert’ is connected, you will feel a single vibraon. Aer which,
you are free to begin your message.
You have 20 seconds to leave your ‘Amber Alert’, before SoloProtect Go will
automacally complete and disconnect the call.
The device will give two short vibraons to indicate the ‘Amber Alert’
has finished.

5Red Alert

Function: Use ‘Red Alert’ any me you feel your personal safety is being
compromised*.
How to use: Press the highlighted buon for a minimum of three seconds
to acvate a ‘Red Alert’. The device will give three short vibraons to indicate
the ‘Red Alert’ buon press was accepted.
The device will then emit two vibraons once the call is connected.
Every ten seconds the device will vibrate twice in combinaon with the red
LED flashing twice to indicate the alarm is in process. To cancel a ‘Red Alert’,
first advise the Alarm Receiving Centre you are safe, before pressing the
Power buon for a minimum of three seconds.

6Incapacitation Alarm
Quick Start Guide
Function: Incapacitaon detecon is used to raise an alert if you have
fallen or collapsed.
How to use: SoloProtect Go will detect a potenal incapacitaon
scenario if it detects movement indicang a potenal, sudden fall. The
device will enter a pre-alarm phase for sixty seconds - all LEDs will flash
and the device will emit alarm tones and vibrate connuously. This
indicates detecon, but an alarm is not raised at this point.
The pre-alarm phase is cancelled by a user pressing the Power buon on
the SoloProtect Go to indicate, they are not incapacitated.
The device will give two long vibraons to indicate the pre-alarm phase is
cancelled. If the Power buon is not pressed, an Incapacitaon Alarm will
be raised within the SoloProtect Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).

Function: In conjuncon with ‘Device Check’, use to update your locaon.
How to use: Perform a quick press of the highlighted power buon to iniate a ‘Device Check’
(Please note, holding the buon down will turn the device off).

indicates a locaon fix has not been successful.

Essential Care and Maintenance
• Regularly use the ‘Device Check’ funcon.
• Keep your SoloProtect Go clean and avoid unnecessary knocks or drops.
•SoloProtect Go is water resistant; but you should avoid water immersion, as that will break the device.
• Please charge your SoloProtect Go every 24 hours if possible.
