Adjusting a Source
To change the radio station or go to the next track on a CD, etc., follow the
directions given below. Your system installer will be able to provide you with
the specific responses that your audio equipment will give to your commands.
Press and Release:
When an illuminated button is pressed and immediately released, the system will send a
command to the selected source equipment. This command varies with the source equip-
ment but is generally "next station" for a tuner, "next track" for a CD player, "next song" for
a cassette tape. Your installer can tell you how your system is programmed, or you can just
try it out.
Press and Hold:
If you press and hold an illuminated button until all the buttons illuminate, an alternate
command will be executed. This might be "next disc" for a CD, "switch sides" for a cas-
sette, or a favorite preset station for a tuner. Your system installer can tell you how this is
programmed.

SOURCE
VOLUME
Source
A source is your DVD player, CD player, tuner, tape player or TV, etc.
Pressing and releasing a button that is not illuminated selects a source.
Selecting a Source in One Zone (Room):
Press and release a button. The button will immediately illuminate, although it may take
several seconds while tapes and discs are loading before you hear music. The system
programs an initial volume setting, so please wait until you hear music before making
volume adjustments.
Selecting a Source in Multiple Zones:
Press and hold a button until all the buttons illuminate in order to play a selected source
in all zones designated as part of the keypad (zone) group.
Ask your installer for information regarding your customized zone groups.
Volume
Adjust: Adjust the volume in the room where the keypad is located.
Off: Press and release the OFF button to turn off a zone. Press and hold the OFF button
until all buttons illuminate to shut off the entire system.
