3 Disassembly
The disassembly is done in the following order:
1. Battery Cover
2. Battery
3. Middle Frame Assembly
4. Sub PBA assembly
5. Main PBA (a) & RF Cable (b)
6. Front Housing LCM TP Assembly
3.1 Battery Cover
Insert a finger or Guitar Pick into the gap as shown in picture
to release the hooks of the Battery Cover.
Open the top side of Battery Cover first.
Push Battery Cover back towards bottom side.

Disassembly
Remove the Battery Cover.
3.2 Battery
Insert a finger or Front Opening tool to Loosen the bottom
side of battery.
Remove the Battery.
Remove these six Screws by using a screwdriver with Bits
(T5).
Scrap! Not to be reused!

Disassembly
3.3 Middle Frame Assembly
Turn the phone around 180 degree.
Film RF Cable is shown in picture located on Middle Frame
Assembly.
Pick up the Film RF Cable from Middle Frame Assembly.
Scrap! Not to be reused!
Remove the RF Cable Film.
Scrap! Not to be reused!
Slide Guitar Pick along Middle Frame Assembly as shown in
picture, to release the side hooks.

Disassembly
Turn around and release the Bottom side hooks.
Don’t insert Guitar Pick too deep at right corner!
Turn around and release the 3rd side hooks.
Lift up the bottom side first and remove the Middle Frame
Assembly carefully.
RX Diversity Cable connector is disassembled then
during Middle Frame Assembly removal.
RX Diversity Cable connector is shown in picture.
RX Diversity Cable connector is disassembled then
during Middle Frame Assembly removal.

Disassembly
3.4 Sub PBA assembly
Open the BtB connector of Side Key FPC on Sub PBA
assembly.
Open the RF cable connector on Sub PBA assembly.
Insert Front Opening tool as shown in picture to release the
Sub PBA assembly hooks.
Remove the Sub PBA assembly.

3.5 Main PBA (a) & RF Cable (b)
Open the Side Key FPC BtB connector.
Open the LCM BtB connector.
Open the Touch Panel FPC BtB connector.
Insert Tweezers at the shielding corner to disassemble
Touch Panel FPC from Main PBA.

Disassembly
Turn over the Touch Panel FPC.
Insert the Front Opening tool as shown in picture to release
Main PBA hooks.
Remove Main PBA and RF Cable.

Prepare a new Battery Cover.
Prepare a new Label NFC.
Prepare a new NFC Antenna.
Follow the 4.23 Reassembly instructions!

4.2 Middle Frame Assembly

Prepare a new Middle Frame Assembly.

Note: Calibrate the Touch Panel/ Proximity sensor/Light

mechanical after replacement.

4.5 Conductive cloth for TP
IC
Follow the 3.1 – 3.3 Disassembly instructions!
Prepare a new Conductive Cloth for TP IC.
Follow the 5.4 – 5.6 Reassembly instructions!
Removal
Conductive Cloth for TP IC as shown in picture.
Can’t be reused, Scrap!
Be careful! Do not damage TP IC on FPC!
Remove the Conductive Cloth for TP IC carefully.
Can’t be reused, Scrap!
Be careful! Do not damage TP IC on FPC!
Installation
Attach a new Conductive Cloth for TP IC carefully.
Be careful! Do not damage TP IC on FPC!
Yellow film inside Cloth covers TP IC completely.

4.7 CU Label
Follow the 3.1 – 3.2 Disassembly instructions!
Prepare a new CU Label.
Follow the 5.5 – 5.6 Reassembly instructions!
Removal
Peel off the CU label from the corner as arrow shown.
Installation
Attach a new CU Label carefully.
Only one Label is attached.
4.8 Screw
Follow the 3.1 – 3.3 Disassembly instructions!
Prepare new Screws.
Follow the 5.4 – 5.6 Reassembly instructions!

4.9 Film Main Camera
Follow the 3.1 – 3.3 Disassembly instructions!
Carry out the Removal as described below.
Prepare a new Film Main Camera.
Carry out the Installation as described below.
Follow the 5.4 – 5.6 Reassembly instructions!
REMOVAL
Remove the Film Main Camera.
Can’t be reused, scrap!
Be careful, do not damage Main Camera!
INSTALLATION
Place a new Film Main Camera in the correct position as
shown in the picture.
Be careful, do not damage Main Camera!
4.10 Film RF Cable
Follow the 3.1 – 3.3 Disassembly instructions!
Prepare a new Film RF Cable.
Follow the 5.4 –5.6 Reassembly instructions!

4.11 Film RF Hole
Follow the 3.1 – 3.2 Disassembly instructions!
Carry out the Removal as described below.
Prepare a new Film RF Hole.
Carry out the Installation as described below.
Follow the 5.5 – 5.6 Reassembly instructions!
REMOVAL
Peel off the Film RF Hole.
Scrap! Not to be reused!
INSTALLATION
Place a new Film RF Hole in the correct position as shown
in the picture.
Press to secure its attachment.

4.12 Film Side Key
Follow the 3.1 – 3.3 Disassembly instructions!
Carry out the Removal as described below.
Prepare a new LCM connector sponge.
Carry out the Installation as described below.
Follow the 5.4 – 5.6 Reassembly instructions!
REMOVAL
Peel off the Film Side Key.
Scrap! Not to be reused!
INSTALLATION
Place a pair of new Film Side Key in the correct position as
shown in the picture.
Press to secure its attachment.
