utilize Sony’s BrightEra™ technology*, the VPL-EX130 offers
high picture quality in native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution
and an impressive color light output level of 3000 lumens.
These brilliant images – delivered from the projector’s stylish,
compact body – provide impressive presentations sure to

* BrightEra is a brand name for the category of LCD panel that has inorganic
alignment layers and pixels with large aperture ratios.
Eco- friendly Design
The VPL-EX130 is designed to be eco-friendly. By incorporating
a newly developed high-performance lamp and advanced
lamp-control technology within its stylish body, the VPL-EX130
offers longer lamp life – extending the recommended lamp-
replacement time by approximately 50% compared to previous
models from Sony such as the VPL-CX120. In addition, the
VPL-EX130 can reduce the power-consumption level to a
minimum of less than 1 W, when it is set in standby mode.
