Installing speakers on a wall
Caution
Contact a screw shop or installer regarding the wall material or screws to be
used.
Use screws that are suitable for the wall material and strength. As a plaster board
wall is especially fragile, attach the screws securely to a beam and fasten them to
the wall. Install the speakers on a vertical and flat wall where reinforcement is
applied.
Sony is not responsible for accidents or damage caused by improper installation,
insufficient wall strength or improper screw installation, natural calamity, etc.
1 Connect the speaker cord to the speaker.
Be sure to match the speaker cords to the appropriate terminals on the speakers: the speaker cord
with the color tube to , and the speaker cord without the color tube to .
Tube colors:
Front left speaker )L(: White Front right speaker )R(: Red
Surround left speaker )L(: Blue Surround right speaker )R(: Gray
Center speaker: Green
2 Prepare screws (not supplied) that are suitable for the hole on the back of each
speaker.
3 Fasten the screws to the wall.
Leave a space between the wall and the head of the screw.
For the tall-type speakers )BDV-N9100W/N8100W only( and the center speaker:
4 mm to 6 mm
For the satellite speakers )Except for BDV-N9100W(:
6 mm to 8 mm
For the center speaker and tall-type speakers, measure the distance between the screws
before fastening the screws to the wall.
For the tall-type speakers: 192 mm For the center speaker: 168 mm
4 Hang the speaker on the screw(s).
Installing the satellite speaker on the stand (BDV-N8100W/N7100W only)
1 Tread the speaker cord (C) through the hole of the stand (B) and connect the
speaker cord to the speaker (A).
2 Attach the speaker (A) to the stand (B) by matching the holes at the bottom of
speaker with the catchers on the stand. Then adjust the speaker and stand until
they fit into place.
3 Secure the speaker and stand with a screw (D) and attach the screw hole cover
(E). Then secure the speaker cord in the speaker cord holder.

Installation des enceintes au mur
Attention
Contactez un vendeur de vis ou un installateur pour connaître le matériau de
votre mur ou les vis à utiliser.
Utilisez des vis qui conviennent au matériau et à la résistance du mur. Un mur
composé de plaques de plâtre étant particulièrement fragile, fixez les vis
fermement à une poutre, puis fixez celle-ci au mur. Lorsqu’un renforcement est
utilisé, installez les enceintes sur un mur vertical et plat.
Sony décline toute responsabilité en cas d’accident ou de dommages provoqués
par une installation incorrecte, la résistance insuffisante du mur ou la mauvaise
fixation des vis, une catastrophe naturelle, etc.
1 Raccordez le cordon d’enceinte à l’enceinte.
Veillez à raccorder les cordons d’enceinte aux bornes appropriées sur les enceintes : le cordon
d’enceinte pourvu du tube de couleur à et le cordon d’enceinte dépourvu du tube de couleur à
.
Couleurs de tube :
Enceinte avant gauche )L( : Blanc Enceinte avant droite )R( : Rouge
Enceinte surround gauche )L( : Bleu Enceinte surround droite )R( : Gris
Enceinte centrale : Vert
2 Préparez les vis (non fournies) qui conviennent au trou situé à l’arrière de
chaque enceinte.
3 Fixez les vis au mur.
Laissez un espace entre le mur et la tête de la vis.
Pour les enceintes colonne )BDV-N9100W/N8100W uniquement( et l’enceinte centrale :
4 mm à 6 mm
Pour les enceintes satellite )sauf pour BDV-N9100W( :
6 mm à 8 mm
Pour l’enceinte centrale et les enceintes colonne, mesurez la distance entre les vis avant de les fixer
au mur.
Pour les enceintes colonne : 192 mm Pour l’enceinte centrale : 168 mm
4 Accrochez l’enceinte à la vis/aux vis.
Installation de l’enceinte satellite sur le support (BDV-N8100W/N7100W
uniquement)
1 Faites passer le cordon d’enceinte (C) à travers le trou du support (B) et
raccordez le cordon d’enceinte à l’enceinte (A).
2 Fixez l’enceinte (A) au support (B) en alignant les trous situés au bas de
l’enceinte sur les prises du support. Ajustez ensuite l’enceinte et le support
jusqu’à ce qu’ils soient bien en place.
3 Fixez l’enceinte et le support à l’aide d’une vis (D) et fixez le cache du trou de
vis (E). Fixez ensuite le cordon d’enceinte au support de cordon d’enceinte.
