警告
指定された電源コードを使用
する
指定以外の電源コードを使用すると、火
災や感電の原因となります。
電源コードを傷つけない
電源コードを傷つけると、火災や感電の
原因となります。
•電源コードを加工したり、傷つけたり
しない。
•重いものをのせたり、引っ張ったりし
ない。
•熱器具に近づけたり、加熱したりしな
い。
•電源コードを抜くときは、必ずプラグ
を持って抜く。
•ラックマウントするとき、レールには
さみ込まない。
万一、電源コードが傷んだら、ソニーの
サービス担当者に交換をご依頼くださ
い。
電源コードのプラグ及びコネ
クターは突き当たるまで差し
込む
真っ直ぐに突き当たるまでさしこまない
と、火災や感電の原因となります。
外装を外さない、改造しない
外装を外したり、改造したりすると、感
電の原因となります。内部の調整や設定
及び点検を行う必要がある場合は、必ず
サービストレーニングを受けた技術者に
ご依頼ください。
内部に水や異物を入れない
水や異物が入ると火災や感電の原因とな
ることがあります。
万一、水や異物が入ったときは、すぐに
電源を切り、電源コードや接続ケーブル
を抜いて、ソニーのサービス担当者また
は営業担当者にご相談ください

表示された電源電圧で使用す
る
製品の表示と異なる電源電圧で使用する
と、火災や感電の原因となります。
運搬時には必ず底面を持つ
前面パネルの前扉下部に手を差し込んで
本機を持ち上げたりすると、前扉が壊れ
てけがをすることがあります。
本機は重量物ですので、必ず底面を持っ
て正しい姿勢で運搬してください。
不安定な姿勢で運搬すると、腰痛になっ
たり、落下によるけがをすることがあり
ます。
油煙、湯気、湿気、ほこりの
多い場所では設置、使用しな
い
上記のような場所で設置・使用すると、
火災や感電の原因となります。
取扱説明書に記されている使用条件以外
の環境での設置・使用は、火災や感電の
原因となります。
水のある場所に設置しない
水が入ったり、ぬれたりすると、火災や
感電の原因となることがあります。
雨天や降雪中、海岸や水辺での使用は特
にご注意ください。
不安定な場所に設置しない
次のような場所に設置すると、倒れたり
落ちたりして、けがの原因となることが
あります。
･ ぐらついた台の上
･ 傾いたところ
･ 振動や衝撃のかかるところ
また、設置・取り付け場所の強度を充分
にお確かめください。
通気孔をふさがない
通気孔をふさぐと内部に熱がこもり、火
災や故障の原因となることがあります。
風通しをよくするために次の項目をお守
りください。
•壁から 10 ㎝以上離して設置する。
•密閉された狭い場所に押し込めない。
•毛足の長い敷物（じゅうたんや布団な
ど）の上に設置しない。
•布などで包まない。
•あお向けや横倒し、逆さまにしない。
高温下では使用しない
高温の場所で本機を使用すると、火災、
発火、発煙の原因となることがありま
す。周囲温度が 35 ℃を超える場所や、
直射日光のあたる場所では使用しないで
ください。
注意

安全アースを接続する
安全アースを接続しないと、感電の原因
となることがあります。
次の方法でアースを接続してください。
・電源コンセントが 3 極の場合
指定の電源コードを使用することで安全
アースが接続されます。
・電源コンセントが 2 極の場合
指定の 3 極→ 2 極変換プラグを使用し、
変換プラグから出ているアース線を建物
に備えられているアース端子に接続して
ください。
安全アースを取り付けることができない
場合は、ソニーのサービス担当者または
営業担当者にご相談ください。
コード類は正しく配置する
電源コードや接続ケーブルは、足に引っ
かけると本機の落下や転倒などによりけ
がの原因となることがあります。
十分注意して接続・配置してください。
2 台以上積み上げない
ラックを使用せずに 2 台以上積み上げる
と、機器が落下してけがの原因となるこ
とがあります。
製品の上に乗らない、重いも
のを載せない
倒れたり、落ちたり、壊れたりして、け
がの原因となることがあります。
I/E ステーションを開閉する
際には指や手をはさまない
I/E ステーションや本体の開口部に手を
入れると、けがの原因となることがあり
ます。
アース線
変換プラグ
ファンが止まったままの状態
で使用しない
ファンが付いている製品では、ファンが
止まると、アラームが表示されます。
ファンが止まったまま使用し続けると、
内部に熱がこもり火災の原因となること
があります。ソニーのサービス担当者に
ご連絡ください。
ぬれた手で電源プラグをさわ
らない
ぬれた手で電源プラグを抜き差しする
と、感電の原因となることがあります。
移動時にはコード類をはずす
電源コードや接続ケーブルは、足に引っ
かけると本機の落下などによりけがの原
因となることがあります。
移動時には、コード類をはずしてくださ
い。
2 人以上でラックマウント・
運搬する
本機は重量があり、かつ左右のバランス
が悪いので、けがや事故を防ぐため、
ラックマウントや運搬は必ず 2人以上で
行ってください。
運搬時に I/E ステーションの
取っ手部分に手をかけない
I/E ステーションの取っ手部分に手をか
けて本機を持ち上げたりすると、トレイ
がはずれて本体が落下し、けがの原因と
なることがあります。
必ず底面を持って、正しい姿勢で運搬し
てください。

概要
ペタサイトドライブエクステンションユニット ODS-L60E
は、ペタサイトマスターユニット ODS-L30M の拡張ユニッ
トです。ODS-L60E は、最大 61 巻のオプティカルディスク
アーカイブ用カートリッジを搭載可能で、最大 4台のオプ
ティカルディスクアーカイブドライブユニット ODS-D77F
（別売）、および 2台のパワーサプライ ODBK-102（別売）
を装着可能です。ドライブユニット、パワーサプライとも、
ホットスワップに対応しています。
使用上のご注意
本機を寒いところから急に暖かいところに持ち込んだとき
など、機器表面や内部に水滴がつくことがあります。これ
を結露といいます。結露が起きたときは電源を切り、結露
がなくなるまで放置し、結露がなくなってからご使用くだ
さい。結露時のご使用は機器の故障の原因となる場合があ
ります。

Before operating the unit, please read this manual
thoroughly and retain it for future reference.
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock,
do not expose this apparatus to rain or

5. Install the equipment while taking the operating
temperature of the equipment into consideration

10 Overview / Important Notes on Operation
Overview
The ODS-L60E PetaSite Drive Extension Unit is an
extension unit for the ODS-L30M PetaSite Master Unit
that can be loaded with up to 61 optical disc archive
cartridges. Up to four ODS-D77F Optical Disc Archive
Drive Units (available separately) and two ODBK-102
Power Supply units (available separately) can be installed
in the ODS-L60E. Both the drive units and the optional
power supplies support hot swapping.
Important Notes on
Operation
If the unit is suddenly taken from a cold to a warm location,
or if ambient temperature suddenly rises, moisture may
form on the outer surface of the unit and/or inside of the
unit. This is known as condensation. If condensation
occurs, turn off the unit and wait until the condensation
clears before operating the unit. Operating the unit while
condensation is present may damage the unit.

Généralités / Remarques importantes relatives à l’utilisation
Généralités
L’unité d’extension de lecture PetaSite ODS-L60E est une
unité d’extension pour l’unité maître ODS-L30M pouvant
charger jusqu’à 61 cartouches d’archive de disques
optiques. Un maximum de quatre unités de lecture
ODS-D77F (disponibles séparément) et deux
alimentations optionnelles ODBK-102 (disponibles
séparément) peuvent être installées dans l’ODS-L60E. Les
unités de lecture et les alimentations optionnelles prennent
en charge la connexion « à chaud ».
Remarques importantes
relatives à l’utilisation
Si l’appareil est soudainement déplacé d’un endroit froid à
un endroit chaud, ou si la température ambiante augmente
brusquement, de l’humidité peut se former sur la surface
externe de l’appareil et/ou à l’intérieur de l’appareil. Ce
phénomène est connu sous le nom de condensation. Si de
la condensation se produit, mettez l’appareil hors tension
et patientez le temps que la condensation disparaisse avant
d’utiliser l’appareil. L’utilisation de l’appareil avec de la
condensation pourrait endommager l’appareil.

Übersicht
Die PetaSite-Laufwerkserweiterungseinheit ODS-L60E
dient zur Erweiterung der PetaSite-Haupteinheit
ODS-L30M und kann mit bis zu 61 optischen
Archivierungsdatenträgern bestückt werden. In der
ODS-L60E können bis zu vier Laufwerkseinheiten
ODS-D77F (separat erhältlich) und zwei optionale
Stromversorgung ODBK-102 (separat erhältlich)
installiert werden. Sowohl die Laufwerkseinheiten als
auch die optionalen Stromversorgungen können im
Betrieb getauscht werden.
Wichtige Hinweise zum
Betrieb
Wenn das Gerät aus einer kalten Umgebung in einen
warmen Raum gebracht wird oder die
Umgebungstemperatur schnell ansteigt, kann sich auf der
Oberfläche des Geräts bzw. im Inneren des Geräts
Feuchtigkeit ansammeln (Kondensation). Schalten Sie in
diesem Fall das Gerät aus, und warten Sie, bis die
Kondensation verdunstet ist, ehe Sie das Gerät verwenden.
Die Verwendung des Gerätes bei gebildetem
Kondenswasser kann zu Beschädigungen führen.

Descrizione generale
L’unità di estensione unità PetaSite ODS-L60E è un’unità
di estensione per l’unità master PetaSite ODS-L30M che
può essere caricata con un numero di cartucce di
archiviazione ottica su dischi pari o inferiore a 61. È
possibile installare su ODS-L60E fino a quattro unità
dischi ODS-D77F (disponibili separatamente) e due
alimentatori opzionale ODBK-102 (disponibili
separatamente). Sia le unità dischi sia gli alimentatori
opzionali supportano il collegamento a caldo.
Note importanti sul
funzionamento
Qualora l’unità venga spostata rapidamente da un
ambiente freddo a uno caldo, oppure se la temperatura
ambiente dovesse aumentare improvvisamente, è possibile
che si formi umidità sulle superfici esterne dell’unità e/o al
suo interno. Questo fenomeno è denominato
condensazione. In tal caso, spegnere l’unità ed attendere la
scomparsa della condensazione prima di riavviarla.
L’utilizzo dell’unità mentre è presente condensazione può
causare danni all’unità stessa.
