INTRODUCTION
Sound Asso iates manufa tures two types of wireless stethos ope-style headset re eivers
designed for professional appli ations: the SA1521H (single- hannel) and SA1523H (3-
hannel). Our headsets are equipped with a sophisti ated re eiving ir uitry with multiple
re eiving diodes to in rease sensitivity. Also, high-performan e mi ro speakers are utilized to
give the user remarkable audio reprodu tion.
The SA1520 series headsets are ompatible with most infrared transmission systems urrently
in use. They are designed with a new industrial-strength hassis for added durability in
ommer ial appli ations. Its advan ed me hani al design ensures years of trouble-free use,
while making the headset omfortable to wear.
The SA1521H is designed to re eive a frequen y modulation of 2.3 MHz, while the SA1523H is
sele table between 2.3 MHz, 2.8 MHz and 95 kHz. The re eivers are worn under the hin,
stethos ope-style and are powered by a light weight lithium polymer re hargeable battery,
designed espe ially for the Sound Asso iates’ line of re eivers.

HEADSET VS. NECK INDUCTION LOOP
The SA1520 series of infrared headset re eivers is equipped with an audio ja k to omply with
revisions to the Ameri ans With Disabilities A t, effe tive Mar h 2011. The ja k will
a ommodate most external devi es that use a 3.5 mm (mini) ja k in luding ne k indu tion
loops and Co hlear devi es. Inserting the plug into the ja k automati ally mutes the amplifiers in
the earpie e and a tivates the external devi e. Note: The hearing aid must be equipped with
a “T” switch or have a telecoil setting to use a neck induction loop. The ombination of the
two devi es is likely to give the user greater volume and intelligibility than with the hearing aid or
headset alone.
UNPACKING UNIT
As soon as the shipment is re eived, inspe t the unit and all omponents for damage in urred
