1)^Water / Moisture
The apparatus should be protected from moisture and rain and can not be used near
water; for example near a bathtub, a kitchen sink, a swimming pool, etc.
2)^Heat
The apparatus should be located away from heat sources such as radiators, stoves or
other appliances that produce heat.

3)^Ventilation
Do not block areas of ventilation opening. Failure to do could result in re. Always
install according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
4)^Object and Liquid Entry
Objects do not fall into and liquids are not spilled into the inside of the apparatus for
safety.
5)^Power Cord and Plug
Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, conve-
nience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus. Do not defeat
the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two
poles; a grounding-type plug has two poles and a third grounding terminal. The third
prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not t into your outlet, refer
to an electrician for replacement.
6)^Electrical Connection
Improper electrical wiring may invalidate the product warranty.
7)^Cleaning
Clean only with a dry cloth. Do not use any solvents such as benzene or alcohol.
8)^Servicing
Do not implement any servicing other than those means described in the manual. Refer
all servicing to qualied service personnel only. Only use accessories/attachments or
parts recommended by the manufacturer.
9)^Warning
Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of
time.
1. UNBOXING
Thank you for purchasing your ZEUS II Series Amplier. Each unit has been well tested
and shipped in perfect operating conditions. Carefully unpack the carton and check the
contents to ensure that all parts are present and in good conditions:

If anything damaged during transport, notify the shipper immediately and keep pack-
ing material for inspection. Again, please save the carton and all the packing materials.
If the unit must be returned to the manufacturer, it is important that the unit is returned
in the original manufacturer’s packing. Please do not take any action without rst con-
tacting us.

2. ACCESSORIES
SOUNDSATION can supply a wide range of quality accessories that you can use with
ZEUS II Series ampliers, like Mixers, Speakers, Cable, Stands, etc.
All products in our catalogue has been long tested with this device so we recommend
to use Genuine SOUNDSATION Accessories and Spare Parts.
Ask your SOUNDSATION dealer for any accessories you could need to ensure best
performance of the product.
3. OVERVIEW
The ZEUS II Series ampliers represents a new era in affordable, quality power ampli-
cation. All ve models (3 in AB-Class, and 2 in H-Class) in this series are powerful, rug-
ged and reliable. They are suited for musicians, DJs, and entertainers as well as houses
of worship, discos, clubs and pubs
Models are A-300, A-600, A-900 in AB-Class, and H-1800, H-2700 in H-Class.
Features include RCA and XLR inputs, user selectable input sensitivity of 0.775V or 1.4V
for the H-1800, H-2700 models, Speakon® and binding post outputs, stereo/parallel/
bridge-mono mode, power/fault/signal presence/clip indicators, forced-air cooling.

1)^POWER Switch
Press the switch to the (1) position to turn ON the amplier and to the (0) position to
turn it OFF.
Note: When the power switch is turned OFF, the device is not completely
disconnected from the mains. So if the amplier is not used for a long time,
please disconnect the power cord from the outlet.
2)^LEVEL CONTROLS
Two knob level controls,one for each channel.
3)^SIGNAL indicator
Two green LEDs, each assigned to one channel. When the input signal exceeds 40 dB,
the LEDs light up.
4)^Power indicator
The green LED, when lit, indicates that the amplier has been turned on and AC power
is available.
5)^FAULT indicator
Two red LEDs, each assigned to one channel. When LEDs light up it means that the
correspondent channel is shutdown.
6)^CLIP indicator
Two yellow LEDs, each assigned to a channel, indicate when the corresponding channel
has an output overload. Some ashing may be normal but if these LEDs remain on for a
long time, please reduce the input signal levels until the LEDs turn off.
7)^VENTILATION grille
It allows constant ventilation between the front and back of the amplier.

Plug the power cord into an AC socket properly congured for your particular model.
Note: If you happen to lose the AC line-cord, always use a three-pin plug
with a ground pin. The wire correspondence is as follow:

Before taking into operation for the rst time, the installation has to be approved by an
expert.
2)^OUTPUT CONNECTORS
Each channel has one Speakon® and one binding post outputs for connecting to the
loudspeakers.
3)^INPUT CONNECTORS
Each channel has one balanced XLR and one balanced jack TRS inputs.
4)^GROUND LIFT Switch
The ground lift switch eliminates unwanted hum and buzz by interrupting the ground
loops between equipment, preventing current ow along the cable shield between two
devices.
5)^COOLING FAN
The device is equipped with an Intelligent Cooling System so that there is a forced
airow from the front to the back for cooling the device when needed.

6)^MODE SWITCH
Allows the selection of STEREO (Dual) or BRIDGE operation modes.
7)^LIMITER SWITCH
This switch is used to activate (ON) or disable (OFF) the protection of the input com-
pression circuit. This protection function is used to decrease the possibility that one or
both channels are clipping or overloaded.
8)^Bridged OUTPUT
When the device is set to BRIDGE mode, the input signal of channel A will be present
on the Output Speakon® named BRIDGE.

3)^COOLING FANS
The device is equipped with an Intelligent Cooling System so that there is a forced
airow from the front to the back for cooling the device when needed.
4)^INPUT CONNECTORS
Each channel has one balanced XLR and one unbalanced jack RCA inputs.
5)^SENSITIVITY Switch
Allows you to select the input sensitivity of both channels as follows:
- 1,4V when using the balanced XLR inputs.
- 0,775V when using the unbalanced RCA inputs.
6)^MODE SWITCH
Allows the selection of STEREO (Dual), PARALLEL or BRIDGE operation modes.
7)^RESET (Circuit BREAKER) BUTTON
This push button is used to reset the circuit breaker that protects the power supply.
7. AUDIO CONNECTIONS
You will need several cables for the various connections to and from the speaker. See
the pictures below that show the internal wiring of these cables. Be sure to use only
high quality cables.
Use commercially available RCA cables to connect unbalanced stereo sources with RCA
output connectors to RCA stereo inputs Line the ZEUS II unit.
You can, of course, also connect unbalanced equipment to balanced inputs. Use either
mono and stereo jack, making sure ring and collar are connected together (or pins 1 &
3 in the case of XLR connectors).

In STEREO MODE you have:
• Separate A and B channel inputs

• Each channel has its level control.
This is the typical setting for amplifying stereo signals. The input signal of channel A will
be present on the output speaker of channel A and the input signal of channel B will be
present on the output speaker of channel B.
To set the amplier in STEREO MODE, the MODE selector should be set to the STEREO
position (bottom) and connect the outputs as shown above. Concerning the cable wir-
ing of STEREO MODE please refer to paragraph 8.2. STEREO / PARALLEL MODE CABLE
WIRING on page 13.

shown above. Do not use the black binging posts when the amp is being operated in
BRIDGE MODE

In STEREO MODE you have:

PARALLEL
The PARALLEL MODE, with a mono input and two mono outputs, allows you to insert
a mono signal into an input and have the mono signal in both outputs, with separately
adjustable level controls. The input signal (Channel A or Channel B) will be present on
both channels A and B.
To set the amplier in PARALLEL MODE, the MODE selector should be set to the PAR-
ALLEL position (Center) and connect the outputs as shown above. Concerning the cable
wiring of PARALLEL MODE please refer to paragraph 8.2. STEREO / PARALLEL MODE
CABLE WIRING on page 13.

12. WARRANTY AND SERVICE
All SOUNDSATION products feature a limited two-year warranty. This two-year warranty is specic
to the date of purchase as shown on your purchase receipt.
The following cases/components are not covered from the above warranty:
• Any accessories supplied with the product
• Improper use
• Fault due to wear and tear
• Any modication of the product effected by the user or a third party
SOUNDSATION shall satisfy the warranty obligations by remedying any material or manufacturing
faults free of charge at SOUNDSATION’s discretion either by repair or by exchanging individual
parts or the entire appliance. Any defective parts removed from a product during the course of a
warranty claim shall become the property of SOUNDSATION.
While under warranty period, defective products may be returned to your local SOUNDSATION
dealer together with original proof of purchase. To avoid any damages in transit, please use the
original packaging if available. Alternatively you can send the product to SOUNDSATION SERVICE
CENTER – Via Enzo Ferrari , 10 – 62017 Porto Recanati - Italy . In order to send a product to service
center you need an RMA number. Shipping charges have to be covered by the owner of the prod-
uct.
