REMOVE THE CAMERA FROM THE MOUNTING BRACKET
• Push the tab to release the camera from the mounting bracket.
• Remove the camera.
CHARGING THE INTERNAL BATTERY
Charge the camera for 24-48 hours before use. While charging,
make sure the camera is turned o and the solar panel is facing
down so it does not interfere with the USB charging process.
Plug the 12V-USB cable from the 12V port at the bottom of the
camera and connect it to a USB port. Once plugged, the screen will
turn on and it will show the charging battery level for 10 seconds.
Press the OK button once more to see the battery level reappear.
FINDING THE SIM ID
The SIM ID number can be found in the battery case. You will need
this number to complete the registration of the LINK-S camera and
connect to the application.

INSERT THE MEMORY CARD
Insert an SD/SDHC memory card (up to 32 GB capacity) in the card
slot with the label side facing upward. The card is inserted correctly
when a click is heard. Always ensure that the camera power is OFF
before inserting an SD card.
We suggest to format your SD card if it’s been in another
electronic device.

PRO TIPS:
Solar panel & internal rechargeable battery
● You need at least 50% of the solar panel cleared for
maximum performance.
● If the power of the internal battery becomes insucient, the
camera will shut down. Once the battery has been charged
suciently by the solar panel, the camera will automatically turn
on leaving the settings untouched.
● An optional power source can be added as a backup to the
internal rechargeable battery for safety.


GETTING STARTED
INSTALL THE FREE SPYPOINT APP
The SPYPOINT App lets you connect and control your
camera remotely using a smartphone or tablet. Features
include viewing your camera status, pictures, full camera
control and more.
Install the free App
1. Make sure you have a data package with either your smartphone
or tablet or a Wi connection.
2. To install the App, you can either:
● Get it on Google PlayTM (Google Play is a trademark of Google Inc)
● Download on the App StoreTM (App Store is a trademarks of Apple Inc.)
3. Search for the SPYPOINT App from SPYPOINT.
4. Install the App on your smartphone or tablet.
Run the SPYPOINT APP
Start the App and it will guide you through a few questions. You
will then receive an email conrming the activation of your camera.
Just follow the prompts in the App.
Note: If you don’t have a smartphone or a tablet, please contact
our customer service to activate your camera.

SETTING THE APP
The SPYPOINT App let you congure all the camera’s settings.The-
ses new settings will take eect the next time the LINKcamera con-
nects to update it’s status. Here are the most important settings,
there is more are available in the app.
BASIC SETTINGS
Mode - PHOTO
Delay: Sets the time interval between each detection before
the camera records the next photo.
Multi-shot: Takes up to 2 consecutive shots at each detection, with
a 5 second delay between each photo.
Mode - TIME LAPSE
Interval: This option allows the camera to take photos at regular
preset intervals without detection.
Mode - VIDEO
Delay: Sets the time interval between each detection before
the camera records the next video.
Photo rst: When this option is enabled, a photo is taken
immediately before each video.
Video length: Allows the user to select the duration of the recording.
TRANSFER SETTINGS
First transfer time: Allows the user to choose at what time of
the day the camera communicates for the
rst time.
Transfer frequency: Allows the user to choose the number of
synchronizations that the camera performs
daily.

ADVANCED OPTIONS
Night mode: Allows the user to set the best option for photos.
Schedule: Allows the user to set the period of operation of the
camera for each day of the week. The start and stop
time are the hours during which the camera is in
action and can record pictures or videos. For an
activation of 24 hours, the same start and stop time
must enter 00h00 or 12 AM.

START THE CAMERA
We suggest to format your SD card if it’s been in another
electronic device.
Turn On the camera and let it do the network search as it can take a
few minutes. Once the network search will be completed, you’ll see
the signal strength appear. If you have no signal, move outside or get
near a window and restart the camera a few times if need be to get all
the information from the cell network.
Note that the signal bars on a LINK-S might not be equal to your
other cellular devices as there’s no industry standard and practice to
label dBm values to a specic number of bars.
Click on Start Camera and select the desired operating mode (pho-
to, time lapse or video) in the Mode menu by pressing OK. If you
start the camera in Video mode, make sure that you have enabled
the Photo First setting.
When the mode is selected, the test light in front of the camera
will ash for 30 seconds to allow the user to leave the area without
being photographed or recorded.
The camera has now updated it’s status in the LINK app with it’s
latest informations. The camera is now ready to take pictures and
transmit them to your LINK app upon the next synch. Synchs are set
by default to every 4 hours from midnight.

INSTALLATION OF THE CAMERA
Install the camera with or without the mounting bracket
Recommended installation height
The camera should be installed at the same height as the animal’s
mid-body.
Ideal installation for quality pictures & videos
The targeted animal should be 25 feet / 7.5m away from the camera
for a better eld of view.
To get brighter pictures at night , you should have elements in the
background to reect back the IR ash to the camera.

PRÉPARATION
RETIRER LA CAMÉRA DU SOCLE
• Poussez sur la languette an de dégager la caméra du socle.
• Retirez la caméra.
CHARGER LA PILE INTERNE
Chargez la caméra pendant 24 à 48 heures avant de l’utiliser.
Pendant le chargement, assurez-vous que la caméra est éteinte et
que le panneau solaire est tourné vers le bas an qu’il n’interfère
pas avec le processus de charge USB.
Branchez le câble dans le port 12V au-dessous de l’appareil et puis
connectez-le à un port USB. Une fois branché, l’écran s’allumera
et le niveau de charge de la pile sera aché pendant 10 secondes.
Appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton OK pour voir le niveau de la pile
réapparaître.
TROUVER LE SIM ID
Le numéro de SIM ID se trouve dans le compartiment à piles. Vous
aurez besoin de ce numéro pour compléter l’enregistrement de la
caméra LINK-S et vous connecter à l’application.

INSÉRER UNE CARTE MÉMOIRE
Toujours s’assurer que la caméra est éteinte avant d’y insérer
une carte mémoire. Insérez une carte mémoire de type SD/SDHC
(jusqu’à une capacité de 32 Go) dans la fente pour carte SD
avec le côté de l’étiquette vers le haut. La carte est correctement
insérée lorsqu’un clic se fait entendre.
Nous conseillons de formater votre carte SD si elle a été utilisée
dans un autre appareil électronique au préalable.


CONSEILS DE PRO:
Panneau solaire et batterie interne rechargeable
• Assurez-vous que le panneau solaire est dégagé pour une
performance maximale.
• Si la puissance de la batterie interne rechargeable devient
trop faible, la caméra s’éteindra. Une fois que le panneau
solaire aura rechargé la batterie interne, la caméra
redémarrera par elle-même dans le même mode.
• Une source d’alimentation additionnelle peut être utilisée
pour une ecacité maximale.

INSTALLATION DE L’APP SPYPOINT GRATUITE
L’app SPYPOINT vous permet de connecter et de
contrôler votre caméra à distance en utilisant un
téléphone intelligent ou une tablette. Les options
comprennent l’achage du statut de la caméra, des photos, un
contrôle complet de la caméra et plus.
Note: Si vous ne disposez pas d’un téléphone intelligent ou une
tablette, s’il vous plaît contactez notre service à la clientèle pour
activer votre caméra.

Installez l’app gratuite
1. Assurez-vous que vous avez un forfait de données soit avec
votre téléphone intelligent, et/ou votre tablette ou d’une
connexion WIFI;
2. Pour installer l’application, vous pouvez soit:

3. Recherche pour le lien de l’application SPYPOINT de SPYPOINT;

Exécutez l’app SPYPOINT
Démarrez l’application et elle vous guidera à travers quelques
questions. Par la suite, vous recevrez un courriel conrmant
l’activation de votre caméra.
Il vous sut de suivre les indications dans l’application.

CONFIGURATION DE L’APP
L’app SPYPOINT vous permet de congurer tous les paramètres
de la caméra. Ces nouveaux paramètres prendront eet la
prochaine fois que la caméra se connectera pour mettre à jour son
statut. Voici les paramètres les plus importants disponibles dans
l’application.
CONFIG DE BASE
Mode - PHOTO
Délai : Permet de choisir l’intervalle de temps avant
que la caméra ne détecte à nouveau et puisse
enregistrer la prochaine photo.
Multi-photo : Permet de prendre jusqu’à 2 photos consécutives
à chaque détection, avec un délai de 5 secondes
entre chaque photo.
Mode - TIME LAPSE
Intervalle : Permet la prise de photos à intervalle régulier
prédéni sans qu’il y ait, une détection de
mouvement.
Mode - VIDÉO
Délai : Permet de choisir l’intervalle de temps avant que
la caméra ne détecte à nouveau et puisse
enregistrer la prochaine vidéo.
Photo prévidéo: Lorsque cette option est activée, une photo est
prise immédiatement avant chaque vidéo.
Durée vidéo: Permet de congurer la durée d’enregistrement
des séquences vidéo.
CONFIG. DE TRANSFERT
Heure de transfert #1: Permet de choisir, à quel moment de la
journée la caméra communique pour la
première fois.
Fréquence de transfer: Permet de choisir le nombre de transfert
que la caméra eectue par jour.

CONFIG OPTIONS AVANCÉES
Mode de nuit: Permet à l’utilisateur de dénir la meilleure
option pour les photos.
Période: Permet à l’utilisateur de régler l’horaire de
fonctionnement de la caméra pour chaque jour
de la semaine. Le temps de démarrage et le
temps d’arrêt programmés sont les heures
pendant lesquelles l’appareil est en fonction et
enregistre les photos ou les vidéos. Pour une
activation de 24 heures, l’heure de début et
d’arrêt devra être 00h00 ou 12hAM.
