A. Remove hood by turning locking pins and lifting up.

B. Use a panel tool to extract push pins circled in pink.

C. With push pins extracted, lift to remove the cup holder and gauge cluster.

K. Using the supplied M6 screws and small washers, install the
brackets to kick pods.
L. Remove factory T40 torx screws located from the front of the
dash next to the cup holders.

F. Extract push pins that are now exposed from removing the
upper glove box.
H. Extract push pins exposed from gauge cluster removal.
I. Extract push pins located above driver and passenger side cup
holders.

E. Unscrew (4) torx screws located in upper glove box and
remove box.
G. Extract push pins exposed from cup holder removal.

J. Lift to remove the dash.

Connecting the RG4-F65 using the
pre-installed, two-pin connector will
require an optional SSV Works plug-
&-play harness (WP-H1149 - sold
separately). If you are not using the
WP-H1149 harness, simply cut off
the two-pin connector and follow the
wiring instruction.
Repeat for the other side.

WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
For proper sound, ensure the speaker
polarity is correct connect the “+” to
the “+” and the “-“to the “-“from the
speaker wire to the amplier. If using
with an SSV Works complete system
refer to the amplier wiring instructions
for more detailed wiring information.

M. Remove factory T25 torx screws located underneath the dash. N. Located on the inside top of the pocket you will have two
holes, route speaker wire though the larger hole. The smaller
hole will be used to mount the pod in Step P.
O. Place the speaker pod in location and resecure the factory screws through the pod brackets on the front and underneath the dash.
P. From the inside-top of the dash, secure the top mounting M6 screw and large washer to the pod through the smaller hole next to
the routed speaker wire.

Selecting FM/AM Band: Press MODE until the FM or AM band shows on the display.
Automatic Station Search: Press or to start automatic station search. The search
stops when a station is found.
Manual Station Search: Press and hold or until M - SEEK. Press the or
briey to change the frequency until the desired frequency is set. Change to Automatic
search (A - SEEK) mode after a station is found.
- Press MODE until AUX shows on the display.

1. Open the Bluetooth setup program on the mobile device and activate the Bluetooth feature
2. The device will show up as “SSV”. Select this device and enter passkey: OOOO
3. After successfully pairing, a Bluetooth logo will appear on the phone menu screen and
show “CONNECT” “BT MUSIC” on the device LCD display.
Stop Playback: Press briey to pause music. Press button again to continue playback.
Skip Track: Press or to play previous/next song.

Power On/Off: Press to power on. Press and hold to power off.
Volume: Press the VOL(+) or (-) button to increase or decrease the volume.
Mute On/Off: Press briey to mute the sound. Press again to un-mute the sound.
Mode Sources: Press the MODE button to switch between AUX, FM, AM, Bluetooth (BT MUSIC).
Mode Settings (Bass/Treble/Balance/Fader/EQ/Loudness): Press the MODE button for
2 seconds and then press the button until the function you want is shown on the display.
Press VOL(+) (-) to change the settings of the menu item displayed.
Bass (BAS)/Treble (TRE): Press the VOL(+) or (-) button to adjust Bass & Treble.
Balance (BAL): Press VOL(+) or (-) to adjust balance (sound distribution between the right and
left speakers).
Fader (FAD): Press VOL(+) or (-) to adjust sound distribution between the front and rear speakers.
Equalizer (EQ): Press VOL(+) or (-) to select one of the EQ options: OFF, FLAT, CLASS, POP,
ROCK, JAZZ, METAL. The equalizer will be disabled if EQ OFF is set. The equalizer setting is shown
at the bottom of the display.
Loudness (LOUD): Press VOL(+) or (-) (LOUD ON) or to disable the function (LOUD OFF). When
the loudness function is on, LOUD is shown on the right of the display.
Select USA/Europe Area Frequencies (AREA): Press VOL(+) or (-) to select Radio Region
(USA / Europe Frequencies).
