IMPORTANT
• Record the serial number from the tag on the
back of the safe or from the tag on the front
bottom corner of the safe.
• Keep keys in a secure place away from
children.
• Do not store the back up key, or this document
in the safe.
• Do not move this safe using its handle. The
handle should only be used for opening and
closing the door of the safe.
• Warning: Keep your safe closed and locked at
all times when not in use. Children could
accidentally be locked inside the safe.
BATTERY INSTALLATION

You must rst install the baeries which are
located in the ont protective Styrofoam.
is safe uses 4 - AAA baeries. Under normal
use, baeries will last about 1 year.
NOTE: Do not mix old and new baeries.
Do not mix alkaline, standard or rechargeable
baeries.
NOTE: When changing or installing the
baeries, do not pull on the wires. Doing this
could cause the power supply to become
disconnected from the lock.
NOTE: If the baeries are low, the yellow light
will ash when you press the scanner.
To replace the baeries, remove the lock faceplate
by pressing the tab and turning the cover as shown
in the illustration below.

RECORDING FINGERPRINTS
When you rst receive your safe there are no
recorded ngerprints. For security you must
record a ngerprint. Failure to do so will
compromise the safety and security of the safe.
You can record up to 20 dierent ngerprints for
opening the safe. For best results, each individual
should use their thumb or index nger only.
To record a ngerprint, rst press the Reset Buon on
the inside of the safe. e scanner will turn blue with
two beeps (if the sound is turned on) and the green
light ashes twice, you will then record the same
nger three times as follows:
1. Place your nger on the scanner until there
is one beep (if the sound is turned on) and the
green light ashes once. Li your nger o
the scanner.
2. Place the same nger on the scanner for a
second time, holding the nger in the same
position until there is one beep (if the sound is
turned on) and the green light ashes once.
Li your nger o the scanner.
3. Place the same nger on the scanner for a
third time, holding the nger in the same
position until there is two beeps (if the sound is
turned on) and the green light ashes twice.
Li your nger o the scanner. Your ngerprint
is now recorded.
NOTE: In certain dry climate conditions, your
ngerprint may not scan. If your ngerprint did not
scan, we recommend moisturizing with minimal
lotion and trying again.
SCAN THE SAME FINGER 3X
If the red light ashes three times with three beeps
(if the sound is turned on) your ngerprint did not
get recorded and you will have to start over.
If you enter more than 20 ngerprints, the red light
will ash 5 times and there will be 5 beeps
(if the sound is turned on).
NOTE: e red reset buon located on the
inside of the door, is covered with a removable
red cap. When you use the red reset buon
while seing your own combination, remove
the cap to access the buon.
Replace the cap securely over the reset buon
aer seing your combination. Failure to do
so will compromise the safety and security of
the safe.
Open the baery compartment located on the
back of the lock faceplate. See illustration below.
Aer baeries are installed, reaach the faceplate
by twisting it on in the opposite direction of the
illustration on previous page.

SELECTING A LOCATION
e safe should be at against the wall and oor.
Remove the baseboard if necessary.
e safe must be mounted to the oor. For
optimal safety and security, the safe should be
installed adjacent to a side wall with minimal
space on either side of the safe, in an isolated,
dry and secure area.
CHILDREN SHOULD NOT PLAY WITH
OR AROUND THE SAFE AT ANY TIME.
LOCKING THE SAFE
NOTE ON LOCKING THE SAFE: Because the
locking mechanism is deactivated for approximately
3 to 6 seconds aer the ngerprint is entered, wait a
minimum of 6 seconds from the time the
combination is entered to lock the safe.
CLEARING THE MEMORY
To clear the memory of all recorded ngerprints,
locate the reset buon on the inside of the safe and
press this buon for about 5 seconds until the green
light ashes 10 times with 10 beeps (if the sound is
turned on). All recorded scans will be erased.
NOTE: For security you must record a
ngerprint. Failure to do so will compromise
the safety and security of the safe.
To lock the safe, close the door and rotate
the handle counter clockwise until it stops. If
the handle is not turned until it stops, the
locking mechanism will not lock.

OPENING THE SAFE USING YOUR
FINGERPRINT
To open the safe, press the scanner with a recorded
nger. e blue light will come on with one beep (if
the sound is turned on) and the scan will begin.
If the green light ashes twice with 2 beeps (if the
sound is turned on), the scan has been accepted and
you will have 5 seconds to turn the handle to open
the door.
If the red light ashes once, the scanner did not read
your ngerprint and you must try again. If the red
light ashes 3 times, the scanner read your ngerprint
and did not accept it.
If there are 3 rejected scans, where your
ngerprint was read, and the red light ashes 5
times with 5 beeps (if the sound is turned on),
you will have an automatic lockout for 60
seconds before you can try a scan again. e
safe will beep one time (if the sound is turned
on) and the green light will ash once when the
lockout period is over.
If there is 1 more rejected scan where your
ngerprint was read and the red light ashes 5
times with 5 beeps (if the sound is turned on),
you will have an automatic lockout for 5 minutes
before you can try a scan again. e safe will
beep one time (if the sound is turned on) and
the green light will ash once when the lockout
period is over.
TURNING THE SOUND OFF/ON
To turn the sound o, press the scanner with a
recorded ngerprint for 10 seconds until the green
light ashes twice.
To turn the sound on, press the scanner with a
recorded ngerprint until you hear two beeps and
the green light ashes twice.
Your safe comes with the beep sound turned
on.

BACK UP KEY
A "Back Up Key" has been provided in case the
baeries run low. If you lose your key, you may
purchase a replacement key be referencing the serial
number located on the back of your safe or the front
lower right corner. See section regarding
replacement keys for further information.
1. Remove the cover by pressing the tab and turning
the cover as shown in the illustration. e lock can
hang by the connecting cable while unlocking the
safe.
2. Insert the key in the key hole and turn clockwise
1/4 turn (until stopped) in order to unlock the safe.
Rotate the handle and open the door.
3. Keep the door open until you have entered a new
security code. Before entering your new code,
remove the key and screw the cover back in place.

SECURING THE SAFE
Mark the holes to be used. Drill the appropriate
diameter and depth of pilot holes depending
on the type of hardware being used and the
type of mounting surface.
Secure the safe with the fasteners.
NOTE: e safe must be secured to the oor.
Use the hardware provided or consult your
hardware retailer for fastening hardware for your
particular mounting surface.

A door organizer is included with this safe. e
top tray of the door organizer can be adjusted by
removing the two screws and relocating the tray.

INSTALACIÓN DE LA BATERÍA
LENGUA
Primero debe instalar las baterías que se
encuentran en la espuma de poliestireno de
protección ente.
Esta caja fuerte utiliza 4 - pilas AAA. Bajo uso
normal, las pilas duran aproximadamente 1 año.
NOTA: No mezcle pilas viejas y nuevas. No
mezcle pilas alcalinas , pilas estándar o
recargables.
NOTA: Al cambiar o instalar las pilas, no tirar
los cables. Hacer esto podría causar que la fuente

NOTA: Si las baterías están bajas, la luz amarilla

RECORDING FINGERPRINTS
La primera vez que recibe su caja fuerte no hay huellas
dactilares registradas. Para mayor seguridad se debe
registrar una huella digital. De no hacerlo, pondrá en
peligro la seguridad y la seguridad de la caja fuerte.
Puede registrar hasta 20 huellas digitales diferentes para
la apertura de la caja fuerte. Para obtener los mejores
resultados, cada individuo debe usar su dedo pulgar o
índice solamente.
Para registrar una huella digital, primero pulse el
botón de reinicio en el interior de la caja fuerte. El
escáner se vuelve azul con dos pitidos ( si el sonido
está activado) y el verde luz parpadea dos veces, a
continuación, se registrará la misma dedo tres veces
como sigue:
1. Coloque el dedo en el escáner hasta que haya un
pitido (si el sonido está activado) y la luz verde
parpadea una vez . Levantar el dedo del escáner.
2. Coloque el mismo dedo en el escáner por
segunda vez, sostiene el dedo en la misma posición
hasta que haya un pitido (si el sonido está activado)
y la luz verde parpadea una vez. Levantar el dedo del
escáner.
3. Coloque el mismo dedo en el escáner por tercera
vez, sostiene el dedo en la misma posición hasta que
haya dos pitidos (si el sonido está activado) y la luz
verde parpadea dos veces. Levantar el dedo del
escáner. Su huella digital se registra ahora.
NOTA: En ciertas condiciones de clima seco, su
huella digital no puede escanear. Si su huella
digital no se ha escaneado, se recomienda
hidratación con loción de mínima y de volver a
intentarlo.
ESCANEAR EL MISMO DEDO 3X
Si la luz roja parpadea tres veces con tres pitidos (si el
sonido está activado) su huella digital no consiguió
registrada y usted tendrá que empezar de nuevo.
Si introduce más de 20 huellas dactilares, la luz roja
parpadeará 5 veces y habrá 5 pitidos (si el sonido está
activado).
NOTA: El botón de reinicio rojo situado en el
interior de la puerta, se cubre con una tapa de
color rojo extraíble. Cuando se utiliza el botón
de reinicio rojo, mientras que el establec-
imiento de su propia combinación, retire la
tapa para acceder al botón.
Vuelva a colocar la tapa de forma segura sobre
el botón de reinicio después de establecer su
combinación. De no hacerlo, pondrá en
peligro la seguridad y la seguridad de la caja
fuerte .
Abra el compartimento de las pilas situada en la
parte posterior de la placa frontal de la cerradura .

Una vez instaladas las baterías , vuelva a colocar la
placa frontal por torsión en la dirección opuesta de

SELECCIÓN DE UNA UBICACIÓN
La caja fuerte debe ser plana contra la pared y
el suelo Retire la placa base si es necesario.
La caja de seguridad tiene que ser montado en el
suelo. Para la seguridad y la seguridad óptima, la
caja de seguridad debe ser instalado adyacente a
una pared lateral con un espacio mínimo a cada
lado de la caja de seguridad , en una zona aislada
, seco y seguro.

BLOQUEO DEL SEGURO
NOTA SOBRE EL BLOQUEO DEL SEGURO:
Debido a que el mecanismo de bloqueo se desactiva
durante aproximadamente 3 a 6 segundos después de
que se introduzca la huella digital , esperar un mínimo
de 6 segundos desde el momento en que se introduzca
la combinación para bloquear la caja fuerte.
BORRADO DE LA MEMORIA
Para borrar la memoria de todas las huellas digitales
registradas, localizar el botón de reinicio en el interior
de la caja fuerte y pulsar este botón durante unos 5
segundos hasta que la luz verde parpadea 10 veces
con 10 pitidos ( si el sonido está activado). Se
borrarán todos los escaneos grabados.
NOTA: Para mayor seguridad se debe registrar
una huella digital. De no hacerlo, pondrá en
peligro la seguridad y la seguridad de la caja
fuerte.
Para bloquear la caja de seguridad, cerrar la puerta
y gire la palanca hacia la derecha hasta que se
detenga. Si el mango no se activa hasta que se
detenga, el mecanismo de bloqueo no se
bloqueará.

ABRIR EL SEGURO USANDO SU
HUELLA
Para abrir la caja de seguridad, pulse el escáner con un
dedo registrado. La luz azul se encenderá con un
pitido (si el sonido está activado ) y la exploración se
iniciará.
Si la luz parpadea en verde dos veces con 2 pitidos (si
el sonido está activado), la exploración ha sido
aceptada y tendrá 5 segundos para girar la manija para
abrir la puerta.
Si la luz roja parpadea una vez, el escáner no leyó su
huella digital y tienes que probar de nuevo. Si la luz
roja parpadea 3 veces, el escáner lee la huella dactilar
y no lo aceptó.
Si hay 3 exploraciones rechazados, donde se
leyó su huella digital, y los destellos de luz roja 5
veces con 5 pitidos (si el sonido está activado),
tendrá un bloqueo automático durante 60
segundos antes de intentarlo de nuevo un
escaneo. La caja fuerte emitirá un pitido (si el
sonido está activado) y la luz verde parpadea
una vez cuando el período de bloqueo ha
terminado.
Si hay 1 exploración más rechazada, donde se
leyó la huella dactilar y la luz roja parpadea 5
veces con 5 pitidos (si el sonido está activado),
tendrá un bloqueo automático durante 5
minutos antes de intentarlo de nuevo un
escaneo. La caja fuerte emitirá un pitido (si el
sonido está activado) y la luz verde parpadea
una vez cuando el período de bloqueo ha
terminado.
ACTIVAR EL SONIDO DE
ENCENDIDO Y APAGADO
Para activar el sonido, pulse el escáner con una huella
digital registrada por 10 segundos hasta que la luz
verde parpadea dos veces.
Para activar el sonido , pulse el escáner con una
huella digital registrada hasta que oiga dos pitidos y
la luz verde parpadea dos veces.
Su caja fuerte viene con el sonido de pitido
activado.

COPIA DE SEGURIDAD CLAVE
Un " Copia de seguridad de clave " se ha
proporcionado en caso de que las baterías están
bajas. Si pierde su clave, puede comprar una llave de
recambio se referencia al número de serie ubicado
en la parte posterior de su caja fuerte o en la esquina
de la parte frontal inferior derecha . Véase la sección
relativa a las llaves de repuesto para más
información.
1. Retire la cubierta presionando la lengüeta y
girando la cubierta como se muestra en la
ilustración. El bloqueo puede pasar por el cable de
conexión , mientras que el desbloqueo de la caja
fuerte.
2. Introducir la llave en el ojo de la cerradura y girar
en sentido horario 1/4 de vuelta (hasta que sea
detenido) con el n de desbloquear la caja fuerte.
Gire la manija y abrir la puerta.
3. Mantener la puerta abierta hasta que haya
introducido un nuevo código de seguridad. Antes de
entrar en el nuevo código, retire la llave y el tornillo
de la tapa en su lugar.

FIJACIÓN DEL SEGURO
Marcar los agujeros que deben utilizarse. Perforar el
diámetro apropiado y la profundidad de los agujeros
