INSTALLATION3.
Open the battery container1.
Install battery, mind the polarity (+/-)2.
Close the battery container lid.3.
OPERATING THE DEVICE4.
MEASUREMENT4.1.
Pull the probe and turn it clockwise to set it at the desired angle1.
Place the probe in the product intended for measurement, insert it to a depth of 25mm (1”) and read the temperature.2.
UNIT OF TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT4.2.
Press and hold the [°C/°F] button for about 3 seconds, then release the button and choose the unit of measurement

HOLDING THE READING4.3.
Pressing of the [HOLD] button once will hold the reading on screen The „HOLD” icon will continue to ash.1.
Pressing the [HOLD] button for the second time will bring the device back to the real-time measurement mode.2.
MAXIMUM/MINIMUM READING MEMORY4.4.
Pressing the [MAX/MIN] button once presents the maximum reading on the display. The „MAX” icon will continue to1.

PPressing the [MAX/MIN] button for the second time presents the minimum reading on the display. The „MIN” icon2.

Pressing the button again brings the device back to the constant measurement mode.3.
*In order to reset the memory, press and hold the [MAX/MIN] button for about 3 seconds.
*Before storing the new max / min reading the device should be reset
REMARKS4.5.
The probe should be cleaned immediately after each use in order to prevent polluting the food1.
The device should not be exposed to temperatures higher than 50°C / 122°F or put into an oven2.
When the MIN/MAX temperature memory function is in use the thermometer cannot be disabled. The thermometer3.
can only be disabled after the above mentioned functions are disabled.
In case the thermometer does not work properly use a pointed object to press the [RESET] button.4.

END OF SERVICE LIFE RECYCLING6.
After the device reached its end-of-service life or when buying new equipment at Stalgast you can return the old device. Send
it to us and a specialized company will recycle it in accordance with the ESOL for Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act
(Legal Journal 2005 no. 180 point 1495).
