REGOLATORE DI POTENZA TRIFASE mod STAR 5
DESCRIZIONE
Il regolatore di potenza STAR5 è stato progettato per funzionare sul sistema trifase con configurazione a stella,
pertanto utilizzerà oltre alle tre fasi da 380 Vac, anche il neutro.La potenza di questo regolatore è di 3kW per
ciascuna fase. E possibile utilizzare il medesimo regolatore anche in monofase collegando i tre morsetti L1-L2-
L3 fra di loro. In tal caso si ha un regolatore monofase da 9kW distribuiti su tre carichi.
FUNZIONAMENTO
Il funzionamento si basa sul principio del controllo di fase e questo modulo è in grado di variare la potenza sui
tre carichi da 0 al 98% in modo graduale, con comandi manuali (potenziometro), oppure tramite azionamenti
automatici provenienti da sensori o apparati elettronici in grado di erogare tensioni da 0-10V.
IMPIEGO
Le possibilità di impiego del STAR5 sono diverse e vanno dall uso del singolo modulo a più moduli. Nel caso del
singolo comando per ciascun modulo non vi sono limiti di numero dei moduli stessi; nel caso si voglia collegare
in parallelo più moduli per comandarli contemporaneamente, il numero massimo dei medesimi per ciascun
comando deve essere di otto unità.

THREE-PHASE HEAT CONTROLLER mod STAR 5
DESCRIPTION
The STAR5 heat controller is designed to operate with three-phase systems that have a star configuration;
therefore, it uses not only three phase 380 VAC, but also neutral. This controller has a 3kW output for each
phase. It can also be used in single-phase systems by connecting the three terminals L1-L2-L3 together. This
will create a single-phase regulator with 9kW distributed on three loads.
OPERATION
The operation is based on the principle of phase control and this module is capable of varying the power on
the three loads from 0 to 98% gradually with manual controls (potentiometer) or by automatically operating
via sensors or electronic devices capable of delivering voltages from 0-10V.
APPLICATION
The possibilities for using STAR5 are many and range from single module to multiple module applications. In
the case of a single control for each module there is no limit to the number of modules; if you would like to
connect modules in parallel to control them at the same time, the maximum number of modules for each
control is eight.

INSTALLATION
1) Place the STAR heating controllers in containers or cabinets with sufficient space or with screened walls
to allow good ventilation of the heat sinks.
2) Attach the modules on the DIN rail using the hook provided

DESCRIPTION
Le régulateur de puissance STAR5 a été conçu pour fonctionner sur le système triphasé avec une configuration
en étoile. Il utilisera donc les trois phases de 380 Vca et le neutre. La puissance de ce régulateur est de 3 kW
par phase. On pourra également utiliser ce régulateur en monophasé en raccordant les trois bornes L1 - L2 - L3
entre elles. Dans ce cas, le régulateur monophasé est de 9 kW distribués sur trois charges.
FONCTIONNEMENT
Le fonctionnement se fonde sur le principe du contrôle de phase. Ce module est en mesure de varier
graduellement la puissance sur les trois charges de 0 à 98% à travers des commandes manuelles
(potentiomètre) ou des actionnements automatiques provenant de capteurs ou d appareils électroniques
capables de distribuer des tensions de 0-10 V.
UTILISATION
Les possibilités d utilisation du STAR5 sont variées et vont de l emploi du module individuel à l association de
plusieurs modules. Dans le cas d une commande individuelle pour chaque module, le nombre de modules est
illimité. Si l on souhaite raccorder plusieurs modules en parallèle afin de les commander simultanément, le
nombre maximal de modules par commande est de huit unités.

INSTALLATION
1. Installer les variateurs de puissance STAR à l intérieur de boîtiers ou armoires suffisamment spacieux
ou avec des parois grillagées afin de consentir une discrète ventilation des dissipateurs thermiques.

DREIPHASEN-LEISTUNGSREGLER Mod STAR 5
BESCHREIBUNG
Der Leistungsregler STAR5 wurde für den Betrieb im Dreiphasensystem mit Sternschaltung entwickelt, weshalb
er zusätzlich zu den drei Phasen mit 380 VAC auch den Nullleiter umfasst. Die Leistung dieses Reglers beträgt
pro Phase 3 kW. Der gleiche Regler kann auch in Einphasensystemen eingesetzt werden, indem die drei
Klemmen L1-L2-L3 miteinander verbunden werden. In diesem Fall entsteht ein Einphasen-Regler mit 9 kW,
verteilt auf drei Lasten.
FUNKTIONSWEISE
Der Leistungsregler arbeitet nach dem Prinzip der Phasensteuerung und ist in der Lage, die Leistung an den
drei Lasten stufenweise von 0 bis 98% zu variieren, entweder über manuelle Steuerung (Potentiometer) oder
durch automatische Antriebe über Sensoren oder elektronische Geräte, die eine Spannung von 0-10 V
abgeben können.
VERWENDUNG
STAR5 bietet verschiedene Einsatzmöglichkeiten, die von der Verwendung des einzelnen Moduls bis zu
mehreren Modulen reichen. Im Falle der Einzelschaltung für jedes Modul besteht keine Begrenzung
hinsichtlich der Anzahl der Module; möchte man mehrere Module parallel schalten, um sie gleichzeitig
anzusteuern, beträgt die maximale Anzahl für jede Schaltung acht Einheiten.

INSTALLATION
1. Die Leistungsregler STAR im Inneren von Gehäusen oder Schränken unterbringen, die ausreichend Platz
bieten oder über mit Gittern versehene Wände verfügen, damit eine gute Belüftung der
Wärmeableiter garantiert ist.
2. Die Module mit Hilfe des dafür vorgesehenen Hakens an der DIN-Schiene befestigen.

REGULADOR DE POTENCIA TRIFÁSICO modelo STAR 5
DESCRIPCIÓN
El regulador de potencia STAR5 ha sido proyectado para funcionar en el sistema trifásico con configuración de
estrella, por lo que usará, además de las tres fases de 380Vac, también el neutro. La potencia de este
regulador es de 3kW por cada fase. Se puede utilizar el mismo regulador en monofásico conectando los tres
bornes L1-L2-L3 entre ellos. En tal caso se tiene un regulador monofásico de 9kW distribuidos en tres cargas.
FUNCIONAMIENTO
El funcionamiento se basa en el principio del control de fase y este módulo es capaz de cambiar la potencia
sobre las tres cargas de 0 a 98% de forma gradual, con mandos manuales (potenciómetro), o a través de
accionamientos automáticos procedentes de sensores o aparatos electrónicos capaces de erogar tensiones de
0-10V.
EMPLEO
Las posibilidades de empleo del STAR5 son diferentes y van desde el uso del módulo sencillo a varios módulos.
En el caso del mando individual por cada módulo, no hay límite para el número de módulos; en el caso de que
se quiera conectar en paralelo más de un módulo para controlarlos contemporáneamente, el número máximo
de módulos por mando es de ocho unidades.

INSTALACIÓN
1. Colocar los reguladores de potencia STAR en el interior de contenedores o armarios con suficiente
espacio o con paredes de rejilla para permitir una suficiente ventilación de los disipadores de
temperatura.
2. Fijar los módulos en la guía DIN con el gancho adecuado

dalla data di acquisto dell apparecchio e cessa dopo il periodo prescritto. La ricevuta fiscale o altro documento valido
fiscalmente comprova la decorrenza della garanzia. Si garantiscono tutte le sostituzioni o riparazioni che si rendessero
necessarie a causa di difetti di materiale o di costruzione. E esclusa quindi la sostituzione o la riparazione delle parti soggette
a normale consumo. La garanzia non viene riconosciuta qualora l apparecchio venga manomesso o qualora sia danneggiato a
causa d incuria, durante il trasporto, manutenzione operata da personale non autorizzato, mancata osservanza delle istruzioni
d uso, errata installazione o non conforme alle norme vigenti nel paese di utilizzo. La garanzia non prevede in nessun caso la
sostituzione dell apparecchiatura. Le riparazioni eventuali riconosciute in garanzia saranno effettuate gratuitamente per merce
resa Franco STAR PROGETTI o presso il distributore autorizzato. Sono quindi a carico dell utilizzatore le sole spese di trasporto.
CERTIFICATE OF GUARANTEE
We congratulate you on the purchase of our STAR5 Heat Controller. Validity 1 years from date of purchase of the appliance:
the guarantee expires after this period. The invoice, receipt or hire purchase agreement shall prove the duration of the
guarantee period. Replacements and repairs caused by faulty materials or manufacture are guaranteed. Replacements and
repairs to those parts of the appliance subject to normal wear are excluded form this guarantee. The guarantee shall
immediately cease and become void should the appliance be dismantled or repaired by unauthorized people, or in case of
negligence, or accidental damage during transport or elsewhere, or in case of misuse, failure to comply with the instructions
for use, maintenance carried out by unauthorized people, faulty installation not in conformity with the laws in force.
Replacement of the appliance is excluded from this guarantee. The eventual repairs recognized in guarantee will be carried
out free of charge for those appliances returned free STAR PROGETTI s factory or to one of the authorized distributor. All
transport costs are to be paid by the customer.

Nos compliments pour l achat de nos Regulateur de puissance STAR5. La durée de la garantie est de 12 mois à partir de la date
d achat de l appareil et elle cesse après la période prescrite. Le ticket d achat ou autre document, obligatoire fiscalement
prouve la date de début de la garantie. On garantie toutes les substitutions ou les réparations qui sont nécessaires à cause de
défauts des matériaux ou de la construction. La substitution ou la réparation des parties assujetties à un usage normal sont
par conséquent exclues. La garantie n est pas reconnue au cas ou l appareil ait été malmené ou quand il a été abîmé à cause
de la négligence de l utilisateur, maintient fait par personnel pas autorisé, à cause du transport, lorsque les instructions
d utilisation n ont pas été respectées ou encore lorsqu il a été mal installé sans tenir compte des normes en vigueur. La
garantie ne prévoit absolument pas la substitution de l appareil. Les réparations prises en considération par la garantie sont
effectuées gratuitement pour les marchandises rendues franco atelier STAR PROGETTI ou auprès d un de nos distributeurs. Par
conséquent seulement les frais de transport sont à la charge du client.

Wir beglückwünschen Sie zu Ihren Einkauf der Leistungregler STAR5. Die Dauer der Garantie beträgt 12 Monate, sie beginnt
mit dem Kaufdatum des Gerätes und endet nach der vorgeschriebenen Zeit, auch wenn das Gerät nicht benutzt worden ist.
Der Steuerbeleg oder gesetzlich steuerrechtliche Dokumente bestätigen den Beginn der Garantie. Es werden alle Ersetzungen
und Reparaturen garantiert, welche sich auf Grund von Material- oder Konstruktionsfehlern als notwendig erweisen.
Ausgeschlossen sind daher Reparaturen und Ersetzungen von Teilen bei normalen Verbrauch. Die Garantie wird nicht
anerkannt, falls das Gerät durch falsche Betätigung beschädigt wird oder auf Grund Nachlässigkeit, beim Transport, durch
fehlende Aufmerksamkeit der Gebrauchsanweisungen oder bei falscher Installation, welche nicht den geltenden Normen
entsprechen. Die Garantie schließt die Gerätsersetzung aus. Eventuelle Garantie-Reparaturen werden für Geräte, die frei Haus
STAR PROGETTI oder bei dem genehmigten Wiederverkäufer geliefert werden, kostenlos durchgeführt. Nur Transportkosten
sind daher zur Lasten des Endverbrauchers.
