Prima di usare il prodotto leggere attentamente le istruzioni contenute nel presente libretto. La
Società non potrà essere ritenuta responsabile per eventuali danni a persone o cose causati dal
mancato rispetto delle indicazioni di seguito elencate, la cui osservanza assicurerà invece la durata e
l’affidabilità, elettrica e meccanica, dell’apparecchio. Conservare sempre questo libretto di istruzioni.

Il simbolo del bidone barrato riportato sull’apparecchio indica che il prodotto, alla fine della
propria vita utile, dovendo essere trattato separatamente dai rifiuti domestici, deve essere
conferito in un centro di raccolta differenziata per apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche
oppure riconsegnato al rivenditore al momento dell’acquistodi una nuova apparecchiatura
equivalente. L’utente è responsabile del conferimento dell’apparecchio a fine vita alle appropriate
strutture di raccolta, pena le sanzioni previstedalla vigente legislazione sui rifiuti.
L’adeguata raccolta differenziata per l’avvio successivo dell’apparecchio dismesso al
riciclaggio, al trattamento e allo smaltimento ambientalmente compatibile contribuisce ad
evitare possibili effetti negativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute e favorisce il riciclo dei materiali di cui è
composto il prodotto. Per informazioni più dettagliate inerenti i sistemi di raccolta disponibili,
rivolgersi al servizio locale di smaltimento rifiuti o al negozio in cui èstato effettuato l’acquisto. I
produttori e gli importatori ottemperano alla loro responsabilità per il riciclaggio, il trattamento e lo

•Non utilizzare l’apparecchio in presenza di sostanze o vapori
infiammabili come alcool, insetticidi, benzina, ecc.
•Prima di effettuare sul prodotto qualsiasi operazione di pulizia o
manutenzione, scollegarlo dalla rete elettrica.
•Quando si decide di eliminare definitivamente l’apparecchio
spegnere l’interruttore dell’impianto e poi scollegare l’apparecchio
dalla rete elettrica. Riporre infine il prodotto in luogo inaccessibile a
bambini o persone diversamente abili.
•Non collegare al regolatore STAR7 riscaldatori con potenza superiore a
4400 Watt.
•Non collegare il regolatore alla rete elettrica prima del fissaggio.
ATTENZIONE: RISCHIO SHOCK ELETTRICO
•L’installazione del regolatore STAR7 deve essere effettuata da
personale professionalmente qualificato.
•Non utilizzare il regolatore nelle vicinanze di una vasca, doccia
o piscina, e comunque attenersi, per la sua installazione, ai
requisiti di legge riguardanti le apparecchiature con grado di
protezione all’acqua IP56.

ATTENZIONE: RISCHIO D'INCENDIO
•Non apportare modifiche di alcun genere al prodotto.
•Non appoggiare oggetti sul regolatore.
•Non coprire od ostruire il regolatore durante il funzionamento.
•Ispezionare visivamente e periodicamente l’integrità del
prodotto. In caso di imperfezioni, non utilizzare il regolatore e
contattare subito un Centro di Assistenza Tecnica autorizzato.
•L’impianto elettrico a cui è collegato il prodotto deve essere
conforme alle norme vigenti.
•Il regolatore STAR7 deve essere correttamente collegato ad
un efficace impianto di messa a terra, come previsto dalle
vigenti norme di sicurezza elettrica. In caso di dubbio,
richiedere un controllo accurato da parte di personale
professionalmente qualificato.
•Collegare il prodotto alla rete di alimentazione solo se la
portata dell’impianto è adeguata alla sua potenza massima.
In caso contrario rivolgersi subito a persona
professionalmente qualificata.
•Se il prodotto cade o riceve forti colpi farlo verificare subito
presso un Centro di Assistenza Tecnica autorizzato.
•In caso di cattivo funzionamento e/o guasto, scollegarlo dalla
rete elettrica. Rivolgersi quindi subito ad un Centro di
Assistenza autorizzato.
•Non utilizzare il regolatore per lampade fluorescenti a risparmio
energetico.
•Non utilizzare il regolatore per la regolazione di motori elettrici
o trasformatori.
•Un utilizzo diverso da quanto previsto nel presente libretto
istruzioni può provocare danni a STAR7, nonché cortocircuiti
ed incendi.
•I dati elettrici della rete devono corrispondere a quelli
riportati sul targa dati del regolatore STAR7.
•E' necessario attenersi alle norme antinfortunistiche e di
sicurezza vigenti nel paese di installazione.
•Il dissipatore posto sul contenitore con carico massimo di
4400 Watt può arrivare alla temperatura di 60°C.
•Il regolatore deve essere sempre collegato con contatto di
terra.
•Il regolatore deve essere controllato regolarmente per
accertarne le eventuali anomalie di funzionamento.

ISTRUZIONI D'USO REGOLATORE DI POTENZA STAR7

Vi ringraziamo per aver acquistato il regolatore di potenza STAR7.
STAR7 è un prodotto di massima qualità e studiato per durare nel tempo.
Tutti i riscaldatori STAR PROGETTI possono essere equipaggiati con i regolatori di
potenza STAR. I nostri regolatori di potenza offrono la massima flessibilità di
regolazione del calore e sono costruiti utilizzando l’avanzata tecnologia dei
microprocessori.
Tutti i regolatori prima della spedizione vengono controllati preventivamente
per verificarne l’efficienza.
INSTALLAZIONE
Il regolatore STAR7 deve essere sempre fissato a muro e su una superficie non
infiammabile e indeformabile (es. piastrelle, cemento, acciaio).
L’installazione del regolatore deve essere eseguita fissando il contenitore in posizione
verticale e con il dissipatore posto verso l'alto.
Icavi di connessione dell'alimentazione edei carichi devono essere di sezione
adeguata ed isolamento. Il conduttore di terra sia dell'alimentazione che del carico
deve essere più lungo degli altri in modo da tendersi per ultimo in caso di
allentamento del ferma-cavo.
Il Regolatore non deve essere montato all'interno di contenitori o armadi perché
la mancanza d'areazione ne provocherà il danneggiamento.
Utilizzare cavi sia per alimentazione che per carico resistenti ad almeno
90°.All’atto dell’installazione occorre prevedere un interruttore omnipolare magneto-
termico con distanza di apertura dei contatti uguale o superiore a mm 3,5. Il ricevitore
del segnale potrebbe essere disturbato dalla presenza di frequenze elettriche
trasmesse da altri apparati funzionanti nello stesso ambiente e con le stesse
frequenze.

ATTENZIONE
L'AVVIO DEL RISCALDATORE AVVIENE IN 2 SECONDI
DALL'ACCENSIONE DELLA SPIA VERDE SUL
REGOLATORE.NON INSISTERE CON IL TELECOMANDO
PER EVITARE L'ESAURIMENTO DELLA BATTERIA.QUALORA
SI VERIFICASSE UNA MANCATA ACCENSIONE DELLA SPIA
VERDE, QUESTA POTREBBE ESSERE CAUSATA DALLA
BATTERIA DEL TELECOMANDO SCARICA.
FUNZIONAMENTO DEL TELECOMANDO
Il telecomando fornito in dotazione assolve alla funzione di:
❑accensione e spegnimento "ON/OFF "
❑regolazione della potenza " POWER + " , " POWER –per un totale di 5 livelli di potenza.
Orientare sempre il telecomando verso il sensore dell'apparecchio.
1. ACCENSIONE:
Premere per 1 o 2 secondi il pulsante "ON/OFF " . Immediatamente si accenderà la spia verde
(che conferma l'avvio elettrico) e dopo circa 2 secondi l'apparecchio raggiungerà il regime di
potenza corrispondente al livello minimo.
2. Regolazione della POTENZA:
Premendo ripetutamente il pulsante " POWER + " si possono impostare fino a 5 livelli di
potenza differenti . Il led del regolatore cambia colore secondo la scala sotto rappresentata.
3. SPEGNIMENTO:
Premere per 1 o 2 secondi il pulsante "ON/OFF " .
Il led cambia colore
(Verde, Giallo, Arancione, Magenta, Rosso)
secondo il livello di potenza impostata .

MANUTENZIONE
Il regolatore Mod. STAR7 non necessita di alcuna manutenzione. E' necessario di tanto in tanto di
pulirlo con panno asciutto antistatico. Attenzione: prima di effettuare qualsiasi operazione di pulizia
disconnettere STAR7 dalla rete di alimentazione elettrica. Non utilizzare strumenti taglienti per la
pulizia.

REQUIREMENT FORSEPARATE COLLECTION OF END-OF-LIFE PRODUCTS DOES NOT
APPLY.
The crossed out wheelie bin symbol marked on the device indicates that, when the product has
reached the end of its useful life, it must be taken to a recycle facility or returned to the
distributor when purchasing an equivalent new product, since it must be disposed of as separately
from household waste. The user is responsible for delivering the end-of-life product to the
appropriate collection facility; failing which, the user may be subject to the penalties provided in
current laws on waste. The proper separate collection for subsequent transfer of the appliance
for recycling, treatment and environmentally friendly disposal helps to avoid possible negative

•This product is notintended for use by any person (including
children) with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or by
persons with lack of experience and knowledge of it, unless they are
under the supervision of or instructed in its use by a person
responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
•Do not use the appliance near inflammable substances or
vapours such as alcohol, insecticide, petrol, etc.
•Always disconnect the heat power regulator from the mains supply
before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance.
•When you decide to stop using the device, switch it off and disconnect
it from the mains. Store it out of reach of children and persons with
disabilities.
•Do notconnect STAR7 power regulators to heaters with a power rating
of more than 4400 watts.
•Do notconnect the power regulator to the mains until it has been
secured in place.
CAUTION: ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD
•STAR7 must be installed by professionally skilled staff.
•Do not use the power regulator near bathtubs, showers or
swimming pools. Install it in compliance with all legal requirements
concerning appliances with a water protection rating of IP56.

CAUTION: FIRE HAZARD
•Do notmodify the product in any way.
•Do not place objectson the power regulator.
•Do notcover or obstruct the power regulator while it is running.
•Visually inspect the product on a regular basis to check for damage. In
case of defects, do not use the power regulator and contact an
authorized Technical Service Centre immediately.
•Make sure that the electrical system to which the product is connected
is up to code.
•The STAR7 power regulator must be properly connected to an efficient
earthing system as required by current electrical safety regulations. In
case of doubt, contact a qualified electrician to check it thoroughly.
•Connect the product to the mains only if the capacity of the
system is able to handle the maximum power rating. If not, please
contact a qualified electrician immediately.
•If the product drops or is subject to a heavy blow, bring it
immediately to an authorised Technical Support Centre so it can be
checked.
•In case of malfunctioning and/or failure, disconnect thedevice from
the mains. Contact a Star Progetti Service Centre immediately.
•Do not use the power regulator for energy-saving fluorescent lamps.
•Do not use the power regulator for adjusting electric motors or
transformers.
•Using the product for any purposes other than those specified in this
instruction booklet may cause damage to STAR7, as well as short
circuits and fire.
•The mains voltage must match the information on the name plate
affixed to the STAR7 power regulator.
•All applicable accident and safety regulations in the country of
installation must be complied with.
•The heat sink on the housing with a maximum load of 4400 watt may
reach a temperature of
60°C.
•The power regulator must always be connected to the earth contact.
•Check the power regulator on aregular basis to verify whether there
are any malfunctions.

STAR7)
Thank you for purchasing the STAR7 heat power regulator. STAR7 is a
high-quality product that is built to last. All Helios IRK heaters can be
equipped with STAR heat power regulators. Our heat power regulators
ensure maximum flexibility in heat control and are constructed using the
latest microprocessor technology.
All power regulators are checked before shipping to ensure their efficiency.
INSTALLATION
The STAR7 power regulator must always be wall mounted on a non-
flammable and stable surface (e.g. tiles, cement, steel). The power
regulator must be installed by attaching the housing in an upright position
with the heat sink at the top. The power and load cables must be of
an appropriate size and insulated. The earth conductor for the power
supply and the load must be longer than the others so that they are the last
to tauten in case thecable clamp loosens. The power regulator must not be
installed inside containers or cabinets because a lack of ventilation can
cause damage. Use power and load cables that are able to withstand at
least 90°.When installing, an omnipolar circuit-breaker with a contact
opening of at least 3.5 mm must be used.
The signal receiver may be disturbed when other electrical frequencies
are transmitted from other appliances operating in the same area that have
the same frequencies.

REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION
The supplied remote control performs the function of:
❑"ON / OFF" switching on and off
❑"POWER +", "POWER -" power adjustment for a total of 5 power levels.
Always point the remote at the sensor on the unit.
1. POWER:
Press the "ON / OFF" button for 1 or 2 seconds. The green light (which confirms the electric
start) will light up immediately and after about 2 seconds the appliance will reach the power
level corresponding to the minimum level.
2. POWER adjustment:
By repeatedly pressing the "POWER +" button you can set up to 5 different power levels. The
controller LED changes color according to the scale shown below.
3. OFF:
Press the "ON / OFF" button for 1 or 2 seconds.
MAINTENANCE
The STAR7 power regulator does not require any maintenance. However, it does need to be
cleaned on occasion using a dry anti-static cloth. Caution: Make sure to disconnect STAR7
from the mains before performing any cleaning tasks. Do not clean using sharp instruments.

•Ne pas utiliser l’appareil en présence de substances ou vapeurs

•Avant d’effectuer sur le produit toute opération de nettoyage ou
entretien, le débrancher de la ligne électrique.
•Quand on décide d’éliminer définitivement l’appareil, éteindre
l’interrupteur de l’installation puis débrancher l’appareil de la ligne
électrique. Ranger enfin le produit dans un lieu inaccessible aux
enfants ou personnes porteurs de handicap.
•Ne pas brancher au Variateur STAR7 de chauffages avec une
puissance supérieure à 4400 watts.
•Ne pas brancher le variateur àla ligne électrique avantsa fixation.
ATTENTION: RISQUE DE CHOC ELECTRIQUE
•Ne pas utiliser le variateur dans les environs d’une baignoire,
douche ou piscine, et se conformer de toute façon, pour
l’installation, aux conditions requises par les lois concernant les
appareils avec un degré de protection de l’eau IP56.
•L’installation du variateur STAR7 doit être effectuée par du
personnel professionnellement qualifié.

•Ne pas apporter de modification d’aucun genre au produit.
•Ne pas poser d’objets sur le variateur.
•Ne pas couvrir ou obstruer le variateur pendant son fonctionnement.
•Inspecter visuellement et périodiquement l’intégrité du produit. En cas
d’imperfections, ne pas utiliser le variateur et contacter immédiatement
un Centre d’Assistance Technique autorisé.
•L’installation électrique àlaquelle est relié le produit doit être conforme
aux normes en vigueur.
•Le variateur STAR7 doit être correctement relié à une installation
efficace de mise à terre, comme prévu par les normes en vigueur en
matière de sécurité électrique. En cas de doute, demander un contrôle
minutieux de la part de personnel professionnellement qualifié.
•Relier le produitau réseau d’alimentation uniquementsi la capacité de
l’installation est adaptée àsa puissance maximale. Dans le cas
contraire s’adresser immédiatement à du personnel
professionnellement qualifié.
•Si le produit tombe ou reçoit de forts coups le faire vérifier
immédiatement dans un Centre d’Assistance Technique autorisé.
•En cas de mauvais fonctionnement et/ou panne, le débrancher
de la ligne électrique. S’adresser immédiatement à un Centre
d’Assistance autorisé.
•Ne pas utiliser le variateur pour des lampes fluorescentes à économie
d’énergie
•Ne pas utiliser le variateur pour le réglage de moteurs électriques ou
transformateurs.
•Une utilisation différente de ce qui est prévu dans ce présent
livret d’instructions peut provoquer des dommages au STAR7, des
courts-circuits et incendies.
•Les données électriques du réseau doivent correspondre à ceux
indiqués sur la plaque de données techniques du variateur STAR7.
•Il est nécessaire de se conformer aux normes en matière de
prévention des accidents et de sécurité en vigueur dans le pays
d’installation.
•Le dissipateur positionné sur le boîtier avec une charge maximale de
4400 Watt peut arriver àla température de 60°C.
•Le variateur doit toujours être relié avec un contact de terre.
•Le variateur doit être contrôlé régulièrement pour en vérifier les
éventuelles anomalies de fonctionnement.
