Star TSP100/TSP100ECO installation instructions for Corner Store POS
Corner Store POS supports STAR TSP series printers and cash drawer.
This document will detail the process of installing the correct drivers for
the printer and cash drawer and then setting up the printer and cash
drawer in Corner Store POS.

Installing Appropriate Drivers
NOTE: Please leave printer disconnected for driver installation!
1. Start by running the setup.exe installer file. Which can be downloaded at:
http://cornerstorepos.com/downloads/hardware/StarPrinterDriver.zip
2. At the initial screen select Next.
3. On the next screen set the User Name, Organization and select Install this application for all users
and then select Next.

4. When prompted for Setup Type select Typical then Next.
5. Select Install.
6. Select Finish to complete the installation.
Configure printer
1. Plug in the printer to standard power and appropriate port on your computer (USB/LPT).
2. Power on the printer (Power switch on left hand side of the printer).
3. Windows should now auto-detect your printer and finish installing the appropriate drivers.

4. Open Printer and Faxes. Go to Start>Control Panel>Printer and Faxes and confirm you see the
TSP series printer in this list.
5. You can try a test print to confirm the printer is properly working. Right click the printer, click the
properties, and then select “Print Test Page”.

Installing Microsoft POS for .NET
1. The Installer for Microsoft POS for .NET can be downloaded at:
http://cornerstorepos.com/downloads/hardware/POS_for_.Net.exe
2. Run the installer and select Install.

3. Enter User Name and Organization and select Next.
4. Select Accept.
5. Select Typical and then Next.

Registration of common OPOS Components
1. The OPOS component registration tool can be downloaded at:
http://cornerstorepos.com/downloads/hardware/OposFor.NET.zip
2. Unzip the files and run the RegisterDbg file.
3. When this screen appears press any key on your keyboard to begin the registration.

4. A number of successes prompt will appear to confirm the registration of the OPOS components.
Select OK for all of them.

Configuring OPOS Driver
1. Open Printer and Faxes. Go to Start>Control Panel>Printer and Faxes and right click the
printer, select Properties and then select Device Setting tab.
2. Change the Document Cut Type to No Cut.

3. Select TSP Config tab and select Launch Configuration Application.
4. Select Star Line Mode (default) and select OK.

5. Select OPOS (on the left) and under OPOS POSPrinter Device Names select AddNew.
6. Enter name for the OPOS Printer (e.g. Star TSP OPOS) and select OK.

7. Select OPOS Printer and select Check Health. A test page should print.
8. Under OPOS CashDrawer select Add New.
9. Enter a name for the OPOS Cash Drawer (e.g. CD) and then select OK.

10. Select OPOS Cash Drawer and click on Check Health. The Cash Drawer should open.
11. Select Apply Changes and then select Close.

Using Printer and Cash Drawer with Corner Store POS
1. Open Corner Store POS>Set Up>Hardware Set up.

2. Within Hardware Setup select Printers tab.
3. Select the name of printer which you had added within Installed OPOS Printers list.
4. Select the option (Yes, No or Prompt) to print the receipt and then select Save & Exit.

5. Select Cash Drawers tab.
6. Select the name of cash drawer which you had added within Installed Cash Drawers list and
then select Save & Exit.
7. To apply changes to take place closed Corner Store and re login.
