をご購入いただき誠にありがとうございます。
●弊社のヘッドフォンはイヤースピーカーと愛称してお
り、一般のヘッドフォンと違って磁石やコイルを使用
せず、静電気の力を利用して音を出すエレクトロスタ
ティック型（コンデンサ型・静電型）方式です。
●発音する振動膜（板）は非常に薄く、表面に均一分布
の静電気により素早く駆動されるため、歪みの少ない
極めて素直で繊細な音質表現を得意にしています。
●本機は、当社のロングセラー「ラムダ」を基に、長年
培ったノウハウを生かし、最新技術を導入して開発し
た新世代のラムダシリーズです。

●STAX’s headphone, known as “Earspeaker”, is an
electrostatic product. Earspeaker makes sound using
the power of static electricity, and which is different
from the dynamic headphone driven by a pair of
magnet and coil.
●Earspeaker has a sensitive rich sound performance,
due to its ultra-thin film diaphragm, which is fully
driven by the homogeneously-distributed static elec-
tricity over it.
●As a product of advanced Lambda series, it is devel-
oped with the newest technology taking advantage of
STAX long-years abundant experiences.
●Please enjoy the advanced Lambda sound.
Introduction
イヤースピーカーは一般のヘッドフォンジャックに直接
接続することができません。専用のドライバーユニット
をご用意してください。接続する製品の取扱説明書をよ
く読んでからお使いください。
●ドライバーユニットのボリュームを絞ってから、イ
ヤースピーカーケーブルのプラグの凸印を上にして、
真っすぐ奥まで差し込んでください。ケーブルの抜き
差しの時は必ずプラグを持って真っすぐ引き抜いてく
ださい。（斜めに引き抜くとコンセントなどを破損す
ることがあります）
●イヤースピーカーの装着／着脱の際には、必ず両手で
ヘッドフォン本体を持って行ってください。
●装着の高さの調整は、ヘッドパッドの左右に調整のた
めのスライド部分を移動して行うことができます。
The earspeaker cannot be connected directly to a gen-
eral headphone jack. Driving earspeaker needs an ex-
clusive driver unit. Also please refer to the owner’s man-
ual of the driver unit to be connected.
●Turn down the volume of the driver unit before con-
necting. Insert the cable plug of earspeaker straight
and fully into the connector with its convex mark up-
ward. Be sure to hold the plug in a straight line when
inserting or pulling out the cable. (Inserting or pulling
the plug aslant might damage the connector of driver
unit.)
●Please be sure to hold the whole earspeaker with
both hands when you wear or detach it.
●The wearing height can be adjusted by moving the
slider at right-and-left side of the head pad.

ご注意！
当製品は精密機器です。できるだけ丁寧にお使いください。また、イヤーパッドは気密性に大変優れているために、
内外の気圧差に感応しやすく、時には振動膜が電極にタッチしてしまい「ガリッ、ガリッ」というようなノイズが
発生する場合がありますが故障ではありません。特にヘッドフォンの着脱時にヘッドフォンを強く押すとこのノイ
ズが発生しますが性能には影響しませんので、どうぞご安心ください。
Caution !
This product is a precision apparatus and should be treated as carefully as possible. Due to
the airtightness of the earpad, the internal air pressure sometimes differs from external,
which can cause the film diaphragm to touch the fixed electrode to result in a crackly noise.
The noise can be heard especially when the earspeaker is pushed strongly when wearing
or detaching. This is not a failure to influence the earspeaker performance.

本製品を安全に、また長期にわたっててお使いいただけ
るように次のことをお守りください。
●本体を投げ出したり、落としたり急激なショックを与
えると内部発音ユニットに悪影響を与えますので、丁
寧にお取扱いください。
●
●イヤースピーカーは歪感がないので、つい音量を大き
くしがちです。過大入力を加えないようご注意くださ
い。音が割れるような場合は音量を絞ってください。
●振動膜は極薄のフィルムです。外部からの不要な衝撃
が加わらないようご注意ください。
●精密部品で構成されているため、絶対に分解しないで
ください。
●ケーブルはしなやかな平行６芯型ですが、無理な折り
曲げや引っ張りの力を加えないようにご注意くださ
い。特にドライバーユニットとの抜き差しの時は、必
ずプラグを持って行ってください。
●本体の汚れは薄い石鹸水か中性洗剤、あるいはアルコー
ルを軽く含ませたガーゼなどで拭き取ってください。
シンナー・ベンジンなど強い溶剤は絶対に使用しないで
ください。
●イヤーパッドのお手入れは、ぬるま湯に市販の中性洗
剤を表示より薄めに入れ、柔らかい布に含ませて軽く
拭き取ってください。
●イヤーパッド側（耳に当たる側）から発音体を手で強
く押すと、電極が変形して発音体を破損させてしまう
ことがあります。絶対に押したりしないでください。
Please pay attention to the followings for a safe and
long-term use.
●A sudden shock to the earspeaker will cause a dam-
age on the internal sound unit.
Always handle your earspeaker in a careful way.
●Avoid using earspeaker in hot and humid conditions.
●The low distortion of the earspeaker may tempt you to
raise volume level, so be careful not to feed an exces-
sive power. When the sound is distorted, turn down
the volume.
●The diaphragm is made of ultra-thin film. Be careful
not to give mechanical shock from outside.
●The product consists of precision parts. Never try to
disassemble it. Notice that failure caused by disas-
sembly is not warrantable.
●The product employs an elastic, 6-strand parallel
cable. Do not pull or bend the cable excessively. Be
sure to hold the plug of the cable when inserting or
pulling out.
●Dirt on earspeaker body can be cleaned up with a
gauze containing lightly thin soapsuds or thin neutral
detergent. Never use strong solvents such as thinner
or benzene on earspeaker.
●To clean the earpad, use a soft cloth slightly absorb-
ing watered-down neutral detergent in lukewarm wa-
ter please.
●The internal electrode will be transformed and the
sound element may be damaged when the sound
element is strongly pushed by hand from the ear-pad
side (ear’s side). Never try to push the sound ele-
ment.
Precaution for use
■本製品は、PROバイアス（DC580V）仕様です。
製造中止となったNORMALバイアス（DC230V）仕
様のドライバーユニット・アダプターでの正常使用
は出来せんので、ご注意ください。
※PROバイアスとNORMALバイアスはケーブル先端
部分（プラグ）のピンの本数で区別できます。
PROバイアス用 ・・・5本
NORMALバイアス用・・・6本
■This Earspeaker is designed under the PRO-Bias
(DC580V). Notice that old products specified by
NORMAL-Bias(DC230V) can not work normally to
this product.
※Count the number of pins at the tip portion (plug) of
the cable to distinguish between PRO-Bias and
NORMAL-Bias:

●In case the right-and-left volume of the earspeaker is
imbalanced.
●Check whether the signals inputted into the driver unit
is balanced at right-and-left channels.
●Check the balance adjustment of driver unit. Also, if
the same channel is still imbalanced after having
exchanged the right and left input signal, the imbal-
ance seems to be caused by the earspeaker itself.
※There is a risk of damages while using non-normal
driver unit product. Failure caused by a non-standard
driver unit is not covered by warranty.
製品をお送りになる際に故障個所早期発見のため、ご使
用のドライバーユニット又はアダプターの製品名と症状
を詳しく書いたメモを同封してください。

●左右の音量がアンバランスに感じられる場合：
・まず、お使いのドライバーユニットに入力信号を左右
入れ換えてご確認ください。症状が変化しない場合
は、イヤースピーカー又はドライバーユニットの故障
が考えられます。
・ドライバーユニットのボリュームが左右でずれていない
かを確認してください。
※ボリュームツマミが左右でずれている場合、奥側のツ
マミを最小にして指で押さえたまま、手前のツマミを
最小に合わせてください。
●本製品の保証期間はお買い上げ日より1年間です。
●製品修理につきまして：
・故障の症状をできるだけ詳しく書いたメモを添えて、
弊社サービス課又はお買い求めになった販売店までお
持ちいただくか、お送りください。
・お送りいただく場合は製品の箱に入れ、無ければ製品
より一回り大きな箱をご用意して、新聞紙などを丸め
てクッションにしてから梱包してお送りください。
・紛失などのトラブルが起きないように、配達の確認が
できる宅配便などをご利用ください。
※イヤースピーカーの修理の際は、組合わせてお使いの
ドライバーユニット又はアダプターの「製品名」を必
ずお知らせください。
※弊社 上から修理についてのご質問をお受

※弊社以外のドライバーアンプ又はアダプターの使用に
よる故障は、保証期間内でも有償になる事があります
ので、十分にご注意ください。

●周囲温度が低い環境に長時間放置し、急に周囲温度が
高い場所に移動した場合など、結露しますのでご注意
ください。
●お使いにならない時は、保護カバーなどを被せて
にかけて保管してください。
※About storage and use of Earspeaker:
Keep in mind that it will deteriorate your Earspeaker
extremely or will become the cause of failure if you keep
or use it in the following environments since Earspeaker
employs ultra-thin oscillating diaphragm (film).
●In a car or trunk, etc (especially under blazing heat).
●In an attic room, a warehouse, etc. with no air condi-
tioner.
●Be careful that Earspeaker dews when it is moved
suddenly to the place where circumference tempera-
ture is high after it was left in low circumference tem-
perature for a long time.
●When you do not use your Earspeaker, keep it on
headphone stand with protection cover etc. on it.
