2. ELECTRONICA STEREN S.A. DE C.V. se compromete a reparar el producto en caso de estar defectuoso sin ningún cargo al consumidor.
3. El tiempo de reparación en ningún caso será mayor a 30 días contados a partir de la recepción del producto en cualquiera de los sitios en donde pueda hacerse efectiva la
garantía.
4. El lugar donde puede adquirir partes, componentes, consumibles y accesorios, así como hacer válida esta garantía es: En cualquiera de las direcciones arriba mencionadas.
ESTA GARANTIA NO ES VALIDA EN LOS SIGUIENTES CASOS:
1. Cuando el producto ha sido utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales.
2. Cuando el producto no ha sido operado de acuerdo con el instructivo de uso.

Nota: El consumidor podrá solicitar que se haga efectiva la garantía ante la propia casa comercial, donde adquirió el producto. Si la presente garantía se extraviara, el
consumidor puede recurrir a su proovedor para que le expida otra póliza de garantía, previa presentación de la nota de compra o factura respectiva.

Warranty
CONDITIONS:
1. This warranty card with all the required information, the invoice or purchase ticket, the product box or package, and the product, must be presented with the product
when warranty service is required.
2. If the product stills on the warranty time, the company will repair it free of charge even the transportation charges.

INSTRUCTIVO DE USO DE CANDADO TELEFÓNICO ELECTRÓNICO
CON LLAVE

Antes de utilizar su nuevo Candado Telefónico lea este instructivo
para evitar cualquier mal funcionamiento. Guárdelo para futuras
referencias.
Su nuevo candado telefónico Seguritel restringe las llamadas de larga
distancia y a celulares.
Para liberar o permitir llamadas restringidas utiliza una llave o un código
electrónico de 4 dígitos.
Es compatible con los servicios digitales de conferencia tripartita, llamada
en espera, identificador de llamadas, entre otros.
Su diseño permite la instalación en lugar de la roseta original, evitando
que el candado sea burlado.
IMPORTANTE
No use ni almacene este equipo en lugares donde existan goteras o
salpicaduras de agua.
Siempre utilice un paño suave, limpio y seco para limpiar el equipo.
INSTALACIÓN
1.- Ubique el lugar donde desee colocar el equipo. Si decide colocarlo en
el lugar de la roseta original, primeramente retírela.
2.- Remueva la tapa posterior del equipo y con cuidado saque la placa de
circuitos de la caja principal (Fig. 1 y Fig. 2).
3.- Ubique el conector verde en la placa de circuitos. Libere los tornillos
del conector a fin de poder insertar los cables de la línea telefónica. Para
asegurarlos, apriete firmemente los tornillos (Fig. 3).
4.- Coloque en la posición original la placa de circuitos y vuelva a colocar
la tapa posterior.
5.- Coloque el equipo en el lugar deseado utilizando los tornillos
suministrados.
6.- Inserte el conector RJ11 de su equipo telefónico en la entrada
correspondiente del Seguritel (Fig. 4).
7.-Revise que cuenta con tono de llamada. En caso contrario, revise las
conexiones.
Notas:
Si desea proteger varias extensiones telefónicas, simplemente conecte un
divisor RJ11 y posteriormente conecte cada una de las extensiones.
Si realiza la instalación de un conmutador, conecte el conmutador entre el
Seguritel y los equipos telefónicos.
INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR ELECTRONIC PHONE LOCK

Before using your new Electronic Phone Lock, please read this
instruction manual to prevent any damage. Put them away in a safe
place for future references.
Your new phone lock model Seguritel allows you to lock long distance calls
and mobile calls.
To lock or unlock the calls, the equipment use a mechanical key or a
4-digit password.
Fully compatible with digital services such as three-way calling, caller ID,
call waiting, among others.
Place the appliance instead of the original modular surface jack.
IMPORTANT
Do not use or store the equipment near wet places. May cause
malfunction.
Clean only with a soft, dry cloth.
INSTALLATION
1.- Locates the place where you want to install the equipment. If you want
to replace the original modular surface jack, first remove it.
2.- Remove the rear cover from the appliance and carefully pull the IC out
from the main box (Fig. 1 and Fig. 2).
3.- Locates the green connector in the IC. Release the screws from the
connector, then, insert the phone line cables. To fasten them, screw them
tightly (Fig. 3).
4.- Replace the IC in the original position and cover up using the rear
cover.
5.- Put the equipment in the desired place using the supplied screws.
6.- Insert a RJ11 plug from the phone set in the corresponding input on the
Seguritel (Fig. 4).
7.- Review if you have dial tone. Otherwise, check the connections.
Notes:
If you want to protect other phone extensions, just use a RJ11 connector
with two or more outputs and then connect each extension.
If you use a PBX system, connect the PBX between the Seguritel and the
phone sets.

Antes de comenzar a programar su equipo, es necesario que
introduzca la llave mecánica, gírela
en sentido contrario de las manecillas
del reloj para activar el sistema
(SISTEMA ACTIVADO).
Posteriormente siga estos pasos:
1.- Descuelgue el auricular del teléfono y una vez que escuche el tono de
marcado marque las teclas # y 1.
2.- Introduzca su código personal y espere el tono de confirmación.
3.- Presione la tecla 9 si desea activar la protección de la línea telefónica
ó presione la tecla 0 si desea desactivar la función. En ambos casos
escuchará un tono de confirmación (un bip para la desactivación, dos bips
para la activación).
4.- Cuelgue el auricular.
PROGRAMACIÓN
Su equipo puede ser programado para bloquear o desbloquear llamadas
de larga distancia o a celulares mediante la utilización de un código
personal.
El código preestablecido de fábrica es: 7733
Se recomienda que una vez instalado el equipo, cambie la clave por un
código personal.
Para realizar los cambios en la programación del Seguritel, utilice el
teclado numérico de su equipo telefónico.
Si desea cambiar el código de fábrica por primera vez:
1.- Descuelgue el auricular del teléfono. Una vez que escuche tono,
presione las teclas # y 2.
2.- Introduzca el código de fábrica: 7 7 3 3. Escuchará un tono de
confirmación.
3.- Introduzca el código deseado (4 dígitos).
4.- Una vez que haya introducido el nuevo código, escuchará un tono de
confirmación.
5.- Cuelgue el auricular.
Notas:
Durante la programación de códigos, la compañía telefónica local podría
enviar un mensaje acerca de que el número marcado no existe o podría
escuchar tono de ocupado. Haga caso omiso de los mensajes y continúe
con el proceso de programación.
Si desea cambiar su código posteriormente, realice el proceso
anteriormente descrito.
COMPATIBILIDAD CON SERVICIOS DIGITALES
Si cuenta con servicios digitales, es necesario activar esta función, de otra
forma se recomienda desactivarlo (esta opción viene desactivada de
fábrica).
1.- Descuelgue el auricular del teléfono y una vez que escuche el tono de
marcado, presione las teclas # y 3.
2.- Introduzca su código personal y cuando escuche el tono de
confirmación, presione la tecla 0 si desea activar la función, o presione la
tecla 9 si desea desactivar la función de compatibilidad.
3.- Una vez que haya seleccionado una opción, escuchará un tono de
confirmación.
4.- Cuelgue el auricular.
AJUSTE PARA SERVICIOS DIGITALES
En casos especiales, algunos teléfonos con botones preestablecidos para
operar servicios digitales no operan adecuadamente, es por ello que se
requiere configurar esta opción en el equipo.
1.- Descuelgue el auricular del teléfono y una vez que escuche el tono de
marcado marque las teclas # y 9.
2.- Introduzca su código personal y espere el tono de confirmación.
3.- Presione la tecla 9 si desea activar el ajuste para servicios digitales ó
presione la tecla 0 si desea desactivar la función. En ambos casos
escuchará un tono de confirmación (un bip para la desactivación, dos bips
para la activación).
4.- Cuelgue el auricular.
Before to start to program the equipment, you must insert the
mechanical key, then turn it
counterclockwise to activate

1.- Pick the handset up and wait for the dial tone. Then press the
keys # and 1.
2.- Enter your personal password and wait for the high tone beep.

will hear a high tone beep (one beep when deactivate and two beeps
when you activate the function).
4.- Hang the handset up.
PROGRAMMING
Your equipment can be programmed to block or unblock long distance
phone calls or mobile phone calls, using a personal password.
The pre-established password is: 7733
We recommend to change the password periodically.
If you want to program your equipment or if you want to change your
password, use the numerical keys on the phone set.
If you want to change the pre-established password on first time:
1.- Pick the handset up. When you hear the dial tone, press the keys #
and 2.
2.- Enter the pre-established password: 7 7 3 3. You will hear a high tone
beep and it means that the process is correct.
3.- Enter your personal password. Use 4 digits.
4.- Once you have entered the password, you will hear the tone high beep.
5.- Hang the handset up.
Notes:
While you are introducing the password, your local telecom company can
send you a message warning you about the number is not longer exist or
you can hear a busy tone. Forget the message and continue with the
process.
If you want to change the password once again, repeat the last process.
COMPATIBILITY WITH DIGITAL SERVICES
If your phone service counts with digital services, you must activate this
function, otherwise we recommend to deactivate it (this option is
pre-established as deactivated).
1.- Pick the handset up and wait for the dial tone. Then press the keys #
and 3.
2.- Enter your personal password and wait for the high tone beep. Press
then the key 0 if you want to activate the function or press the key 9 if you
want to deactivate it.
3.- Once you have chose an option, you will hear another high tone
beep.
4.- Hang the handset up.
SETTINGS TO DIGITAL SERVICES
In some telephones with digital services buttons, cannot operate
appropriately, that’s why you need to configure this option.
1.- Pick the handset up and wait for the dial tone. Then press the keys #
and 9.
2.- Enter your personal password and wait for the high tone beep.
3.- Press the key 9 if you want to activate the settings to digital services or
press the key 0 if you want to deactivate the function. In both cases you
will hear a high tone beep (one beep when deactivate and two beeps
when you activate the function).
4.- Hang the handset up.

RESTRICCIÓN DE LLAMADAS MEDIANTE LA LLAVE MECÁNICA
Cuando la llave se encuentre en posición vertical (candado cerrado), las
llamadas de larga distancia y celulares estarán bloqueadas. Si cambia la
posición de la llave a horizontal (candado abierto) su línea telefónica no
estará protegida y se podrán realizar cualquier tipo de llamadas en ese
equipo telefónico. Este parámetro sólo funcionará si el equipo ha sido
programado anteriormente.
REALIZAR LLAMADAS RESTRINGIDAS SIN COMPATIBILIDAD CON
SERVICIOS DIGITALES
1.- Descuelgue el auricular del teléfono y una vez que escuche el tono de
marcado introduzca su código personal.
2.- Cuando escuche el tono de confirmación, el equipo cortará
automáticamente el tono e inmediatamente volverá a escuchar el tono de
marcado.
3.- Introduzca el número telefónico que desee marcar.
4.- Una vez que termine su conversación, cuelgue el auricular.
Nota:
En este modo, sólo podrá realizar UNA llamada restringida. Si desea
realizar otra llamada, repita el proceso.
REALIZAR LLAMADAS RESTRINGIDAS COMPATIBLES CON
SERVICIOS DIGITALES
1.- Descuelgue el auricular del teléfono y una vez que escuche el tono de
marcado introduzca su código personal.
2.- Cuando escuche el tono de confirmación, cuelgue el auricular e
inmediatamente vuelva a descolgarlo. Podrá escuchar el tono de
marcado.
3.- Introduzca el número telefónico que desee marcar.
4.- Una vez que termine su conversación, cuelgue el auricular.
Nota:
En este modo, sólo podrá realizar UNA llamada restringida.
Una vez que termina la conversación, el equipo continuará bloqueando las
llamadas salientes, si desea volver a realizar otra llamada, tendrá que
repetir el proceso anterior.
CONFERENCIA TRIPARTITA
Si durante una conversación, desea realizar una llamada restringida por la
segunda línea (línea virtual):
1.- Presione la tecla * dos veces (asterisco dos veces) e introduzca su
código personal.
2.- Cuando escuche el tono de confirmación presione el botón R o Flash,
el tono de marcado se escuchará de forma intermitente, indicando que la
primera llamada ha sido retenida.
3.- Marque el número telefónico al que desee llamar.
Para contestar una segunda llamada entrante o realizar una conferencia
tripartita con números locales no restringidos, no se requiere ningún
procedimiento especial.
LLAMADAS LOCALES
Si desea bloquear o liberar llamadas locales en su equipo telefónico:
1.- Descuelgue el auricular del teléfono y una vez que escuche el tono de
marcado presione las teclas # y 4 e introduzca su código personal.
2.- Una vez que escuche el tono de confirmación, presione la tecla 0 para
permitir las llamadas locales. O presione la tecla 9 si desea bloquearlas
(escuchará un bip cuando permite llamadas locales y dos bips cuando las
restringe).
3.- Cuelgue el auricular.
Nota:
Este parámetro viene desactivado (0) de fábrica.
LLAMADAS A CELULARES (CON PREFIJO 044)
Si desea bloquear o liberar llamadas a teléfono celulares con prefijo 044
en su equipo telefónico:
1.- Descuelgue el auricular del teléfono y una vez que escuche el tono de
marcado presione las teclas # y 5 e introduzca su código personal.
HOW TO BLOCK OUTGOING CALLS BY THE MECHANICAL KEY
When the key is in vertical position (closed lock), the long distance phone
calls and mobile phone calls will be block. If you change the key to a
horizontal position (open lock) the equipment cannot protect the phone line
and you can make any kind of phone calls in that phone set. This
parameter only works if the equipment was previously programmed.
HOW TO MAKE RESTRICTED CALLS WITHOUT DIGITAL SERVICES
COMPATIBILITY
1.- Pick the handset up and wait for the dial tone. Then enter your personal
password
2.- Wait for the high tone beep. The equipment will cut the dial tone for a
moment, and immediately you will hear the dial tone again.
3.- Type the desired telephone number.
4.- Once you finished the conversation, hang the handset up.
Note:
In this Mode, you can make ONE restricted call, only. If you want to make
another call, repeat the process.
HOW TO MAKE RESTRICTED PHONE CALLS WITH DIGITAL
SERVICES COMPATIBILITY
1.- Pick the handset up and wait for the dial tone. Then enter your personal
password
2.- Wait for the high tone beep and hang the handset up, immediately pick
it up and you can hear the dial tone.
3.- Type the desired telephone number.
4.- Once you finished the conversation, hang the handset up.
Notes:
In this Mode, you can make ONE restricted call, only.
Once you have finished the conversation, the equipment still blocking the
outgoing calls, if you want to make another call, you must repeat the
process.
THREE-WAY CONFERENCE
While you are in a conversation and want to make a restricted phone call
using the second line (virtual line):
1.- Press * key twice (asterisk twice) and enter your personal password.
2.- When you hear the high tone beep, press R or Flash button, you will
hear the dial tone intermittently, the first call has been retained.
3.- Type the desired phone number to call.
To answer a second incoming call or make a three-way conference with
restricted local phone numbers, you don’t require to do any special
procedure.
LOCAL CALLS
If you want to block or unblock local calls on your phone set:
1.- Pick the hand set up and wait for the dial tone. Then press the keys #
and 4 and enter your personal password.
2.- Wait for the high tone beep, then press the key 9 if you want to activate
the call blocking function or press the key 0 if you want to deactivate the
function. In both cases you will hear a high tone beep (one beep when
deactivate and two beeps when you activate the function).
3.- Hang the handset up.
Note:
This parameter is pre-established as deactivated (0).
MOBILE PHONE CALLS (044 PREFIX)
If you want to block or unblock mobile phone calls (044 prefix) on your
phone set:
1.- Pick the hand set up and wait for the dial tone. Then press the keys #
and 5 and enter your personal password.

2.- Una vez que escuche el tono de confirmación, presione la tecla 0 para
permitir las llamadas a celulares. O presione la tecla 9 si desea
bloquearlas (escuchará un bip cuando permite llamadas a celulares y dos
bips cuando las restringe).
3.- Cuelgue el auricular.
Nota:
Este parámetro viene activado (9) de fábrica.
LLAMADAS EXTERNAS AL NOVENO DÍGITO
Esta función permite restringir números telefónicos que cuentan con más
de 8 dígitos.
1.- Descuelgue el auricular del teléfono y una vez que escuche el tono de
marcado presione las teclas # y 6 e introduzca su código personal.
2.- Una vez que escuche el tono de confirmación, presione la tecla 0 para
permitir las llamadas a números locales mayores a 8 dígitos. O presione la
tecla 9 si desea bloquearlas (escuchará un bip cuando permite llamadas a
números mayores a 8 dígitos y dos bips cuando las restringe).
3.- Cuelgue el auricular.
APERTURA DE LÍNEA
Esta función es especial cuando utiliza el Seguritel en conmutadores y
observa una pérdida de línea al marcar un código.
Se recomienda disminuir el tiempo de apertura de línea:
1.- Descuelgue el auricular del teléfono y una vez que escuche el tono de
marcado marque la tecla # dos veces (gato dos veces).
2.- Introduzca su código personal y espere el tono de confirmación.
3.- Introduzca el dígito correspondiente al tiempo de apertura de línea que
requiera (vea la tabla de tiempo de apertura de línea).
4.- Espere a escuchar el tono de confirmación y cuelgue el auricular.

EXTERNAL CALLS WITH NINE DIGITS
This function allows you to lock phone numbers with more than 8
digits.
1.- Pick the hand set up and wait for the dial tone. Then press the keys #
and 6 and enter your personal password.
2.- Wait for the high tone beep, then press the key 0 to allow the external
phone calls to a numbers with more than 8 digits. Or press the key 9 if you
want to block phone numbers with more than 8 digits. In both cases you
will hear a high tone beep (one beep when deactivate and two beeps
when you activate the function).
3.- Hang the handset up.
OPENING TIME
Configure this option when you use the equipment with a PBX system and
you observe a line loss when you try to enter a code.
We recommend decrease the opening time.
1.- Pick the hand set up and wait for the dial tone. Then press the key #
twice.
2.- Enter your personal password. Wait for the high tone beep.
3.- Enter the desired digit for the opening time in accord to the table (refers
to Opening Time Table).
4.- Wait for the high tone beep and then hang the handset up.
