Before using your new Channel 3 Audio/Video to coaxial converter
read this instruction manual to prevent any damage. Put it away in
a safe place for future references.
IMPORTANT
Clean only with a soft, dry cloth.
Do not try to open the equipment, may cause malfunction and
warranty repeal.
Do not use or store the equipment near wet places. May cause
malfunction or shock hazard.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT (NOT INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE)
- If the AV equipment have stereo outputs, one audio / video cable with
3 RCA connectors in each end
- If the AV equipment have mono outputs, one audio / video cable with 2
RCA connectors in each end
CONNECTING RCA CABLE
If video source is in stereo:
1.- Locate the RCA connectors into the converter, then insert one AV
cable on them.
2.- Plug the other end into AV device output jacks.
Make sure the colors match on both equipments.
If video source is in mono:
1.- Locate the RCA connectors into the converter, then insert one AV
cable on them. For audio connections, use one of the connector and
insert it in L or R input jack.
2.- Plug the other end into AV device output jacks.
Make sure the colors match on both equipments.
CONNECTING F CABLE
If you have a device connected to F connector on TV set (such as VCR
or Cable) unplug the coaxial cable from the TV set and plug into the
ANT IN connector in the modulator.

Then, plug other coaxial cable from RF OUT output jack on the
converter to F connector on TV set.
If you don’t have any device connected to F connector on TV, just plug a
coaxial cable from TO TV output to F connector on TV.
In case your TV set have 300ohm connector (screws) instead of F
connector, you must use a matching device from 75 to 300ohm, to
install the modulator as we seen before.

HOW TO USE THE CONVERTER
Once you have made the right connections, follow these steps to start to
use the equipment:
1.- Turn the TV set on and choose channel 3 (usually, you need to
choose the channel without signal).
2.- Turn the AV converter on.
3.- If the equipment is in use, an indicator will light.
4.- Turn on the A/V player and begin playing Audio / Video, TV appears
imegen and hear the audio.

WARRANTY
This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in workmanship and
materials to the original purchaser for one year from the date of purchase.
CONDITIONS
1.- This warranty card with all the required information, invoice or purchase ticket, product
box or package, and product, must be presented when warranty service is required.
2.- If the product stills on the warranty time, the company will repair it free of charge.
3.- The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the claim was received.
4.- Steren sell parts, components, consumables and accesories to costumer, as well as
warranty service, at any of the addresses mentioned later.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE NEXT CASES:
If the product has been damaged by an accident, acts of God, mishandling, leaky batteries,
failure to follow enclosed instructions, improper repair by unauthorized personnel, improper
safe keeping, among others.
a) The consumer can also claim the warranty service in the purchase establishment.
b) If you lose the warranty card, we can reissue it, if you show the invoice or purchase ticket.

EQUIPO REQUERIDO NO INCLUIDO EN EL EMPAQUE
- Un cable de audio / vídeo con 3 conectores tipo RCA en cada punta, si
el equipo de AV es estéreo
- Un cable de audio / vídeo con 2 conectores tipo RCA en cada punta, si
el equipo de AV es mono
CONEXIÓN DE LOS CABLES RCA
Si la fuente de vídeo es estéreo:
1.- Localice los conectores RCA en el convertidor e inserte un cable de
audio / vídeo en ellos.
2.- El otro extremo de los conectores insértelos en el equipo de A/V .
Asegúrese de que los colores de los conectores coincidan en
ambos equipos.
Si la fuente de vídeo es mono:
1.- Localice los conectores RCA en el convertidor e inserte un cable de
audio / vídeo en ellos. En el caso de las entradas de audio, utilice uno
de los conectores e insértelo en la entrada L o R.
2.- El otro extremo de los conectores insértelos en el equipo de A/V.
Asegúrese de que los colores de los conectores coincidan en
ambos equipos.
CONEXIÓN DE LOS CABLES TIPO F
Si el conector tipo F de su televisor está conectado a otro equipo como
un reproductor de vídeo o televisión por cable, desconecte el cable e
insértelo en el convertidor, en la entrada denominada ANT IN.

Posteriormente conecte un cable coaxial en la salida del convertidor RF
OUT hacia el conector tipo F en el televisor.
En caso de que el televisor no esté conectado a otro equipo de vídeo,
simplemente conecte un cable coaxial en la salida del convertidor RF
OUT hacia el conector tipo F en el televisor.
En caso de que su televisor cuente con terminal de tornillo de
300ohms, es necesario instalar un transformador (matching) de 75
a 300ohms para realizar la conexión de cables tipo F.

COMO UTILIZAR EL CONVERTIDOR
Una vez que se realizaron las conexiones necesarias, siga estos pasos
para comenzar a utilizar su equipo:
1.- Encienda su televisor y seleccione el canal 3 (normalmente se
selecciona el canal que no es utilizado por un emisor de televisión).
2.- Encienda convertidor de Audio/Vídeo.
3.- Cuando el equipo esté en uso, se encenderá el LED indicador
4.- Encienda el reproductor A/V y empiece a reproducir Audio/Video, en
la TV aparecerá la imegen y se escuchará el audio.

PÓLIZA DE GARANTÍA
Esta póliza garantiza el producto por el término de un año en todas sus partes y mano
de obra, contra cualquier defecto de fabricación y funcionamiento, a partir de la fecha de
entrega.
CONDICIONES
1.- Para hacer efectiva la garantía, presente ésta póliza y el producto, en donde fue
adquirido o en Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
2.- Electrónica Steren S.A de C.V. se compromete a reparar el producto en caso de estar
defectuoso sin ningún cargo al consumidor. Los gastos de transportación serán cubiertos
por el proveedor.
3.- El tiempo de reparación en ningún caso será mayor a 30 días, contados a partir de la
recepción del producto en cualquiera de los sitios donde pueda hacerse efectiva la
garantía.
4.- El lugar donde puede adquirir partes, componentes, consumibles y accesorios, así como
hacer válida esta garantía es en cualquiera de las direcciones mencionadas
posteriormente.
ESTA PÓLIZA NO SE HARA EFECTIVA EN LOS SIGUIENTES CASOS:
1.- Cuando el producto ha sido utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales.
2.- Cuando el producto no ha sido operado de acuerdo con el instructivo de uso.
3.- Cuando el producto ha sido alterado o reparado por personal no autorizado por
Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
El consumidor podrá solicitar que se haga efectiva la garantía ante la propia casa
comercial donde adquirió el producto. Si la presente garantía se extraviara, el consumidor
puede recurrir a su proveedor para que le expida otra póliza de garantía, previa
presentación de la nota de compra o factura respectiva.
