WARRANTY
This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in
workmanship and materials to the original purchaser for one year from the
date of purchase. CONDITIONS
1.- This warranty card with all the required information, invoice or
purchase ticket, product box or package, and product, must be
presented when warranty service is required.
2.- If the product stills on the warranty time, the company will repair it free
of charge.
3.- The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the
claim was received.
4.- Steren sell parts, components, consumables and accessories to
customer, as well as warranty service, at any of the addresses mentioned
later. THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE NEXT CASES:
If the product has been damaged by an accident, acts of God,
mishandling, leaky batteries, failure to follow enclosed instructions,
improper repair by unauthorized personnel, improper safe keeping,
among others.
a) The consumer can also claim the warranty service in the purchase
establishment.
b) If you lose the warranty card, we can reissue it, if you show the invoice
or purchase ticket.

IMPORTANT
• Do not expose the USB 2.0 PCI card to extreme temperatures.
• Always use a soft and dry cloth in order to clean the device.
You must install the PCI card inside of your computer. Make sure you
have the enough knowledge conguring and installing components on
computers, otherwise go with a technician.
1. Unplug the power cord from your computer and any other connected
peripheral devices. Follow the precautions for static electricity discharge.
2. Remove the computer’s cover.
3. Select an available PCI slot for the new board.
4. Remove the selected slot bracket by unscrewing the holding screw, slide
it out and place the PCI card, carefully align the board’s bus connector
with the selected expansion slot on the motherboard. Push the board down
rmly, but gently, until it is well seated.
FEATURES
The USB 2.0 PCI card (COM-410) allows you to add 4 extra USB ports on
your computer. Supports data transfer rate up to 480Mbps, 40 times faster
than USB 1.1. It is ideal for external storage devices, scanners, CD-RWs
and much more. Moreover, it is fully backward compatible with current USB
1.1 devices. Supports up to 127 devices (using hubs). Plug & Play.
5. Place the computer’s cover and
plug all your peripheral devices.
6. Once you have installed the
PCI card and the system started,
the computer will detects the new
hardware, it automatically will update
the necessary les, in order to start
using the card.

PÓLIZA DE GARANTÍA
Esta póliza garantiza el producto por el término de un año en todas sus partes y
mano de obra, contra cualquier defecto de fabricación y funcionamiento, a partir de
la fecha de entrega. CONDICIONES
1.- Para hacer efectiva la garantía, presente ésta póliza y el producto, en donde fue
adquirido o en Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
2.- Electrónica Steren S.A de C.V. se compromete a reparar el producto en caso
de estar defectuoso sin ningún cargo al consumidor. Los gastos de transportación
serán cubiertos por el proveedor.
3.- El tiempo de reparación en ningún caso será mayor a 30 días, contados a
partir de la recepción del producto en cualquiera de los sitios donde pueda hacerse
efectiva la garantía.
4.- El lugar donde puede adquirir partes, componentes, consumibles y accesorios,
así como hacer válida esta garantía es en cualquiera de las direcciones menciona-
das posteriormente.
ESTA PÓLIZA NO SE HARA EFECTIVA EN LOS SIGUIENTES CASOS:
1.- Cuando el producto ha sido utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales.
2.- Cuando el producto no ha sido operado de acuerdo con el instructivo de uso.
3.- Cuando el producto ha sido alterado o reparado por personal no autorizado
por Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
El consumidor podrá solicitar que se haga efectiva la garantía ante la propia casa
comercial donde adquirió el producto. Si la presente garantía se extraviara, el con-
sumidor puede recurrir a su proveedor para que le expida otra póliza de garantía,
previa presentación de la nota de compra o factura respectiva.

• No exponga la tarjeta a temperaturas extremas.
• Siempre utilice una brocha suave y seca para limpiar la tarjeta.
IMPORTANTE
INSTALACIÓN DE LA TARJETA
Su tarjeta PCI se instala en el interior de su computadora personal.
Asegúrese de tener conocimientos de instalación de computadoras, en
caso contrario acuda con un técnico especializado.
1.- Desconecte el cable de corriente de su computadora y desconecte
cualquier dispositivo conectado a ella. Tenga precauciones acerca de la
electricidad estática o descargas eléctricas.
2.- Remueva la cubierta o tapas laterales del CPU.
3.- Seleccione una bahía disponible PCI.
4.- Utilice un desarmador para quitar el tornillo de la cubierta de la bahía y
coloque la tarjeta PCI, haciendo que coincidan los conectores con la
ranura de expansión. Presione rmemente y vuelva a colocar el tornillo
para asegurarla.
CARACTERÍSTICAS
La tarjeta PCI con puertos USB (COM-410) le permite agregar 4 puertos
USB 2.0 en su computadora personal. USB 2.0 le permite transferencia
de datos hasta de 480 Mbps, 40 veces más rápido que USB 1.1. Es ideal
para conectar equipos externos como Scanners, quemadores, impresoras
y mucho más. Además es compatible con sistemas USB 1.1 Soporta hasta
127 equipos (mediante hubs). Plug & Play.
5.- Finalmente coloque nuevamente
la cubierta del CPU y conecte todos
sus dispositivos.
6.- Una vez que ha instalado la
tarjeta y enciende la computadora, el
equipo detecta el nuevo hardware.
El sistema actualizará automáticamente
los archivos necesarios para que su
tarjeta USB funcione correctamente.
