INTRODUCTION
The Sterilize+™ UV Sanitizing Tower provides effective protection from germs, viruses,
bacteria, dust mites and mold throughout the home. Used regularly on surfaces to disinfect (in
addition to regular cleaning of bedding, floors and other surfaces), it will protect your home
without the use of sprays or harsh chemicals.

Connecting to a Power Supply
Plug the power cord into a power supply. The Sterilize+™ UV Sanitizing Tower is now ready to
use.
Turning On and Off
To turn the device on or off, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds or click the power
on button on the remote control.
Changing Disinfection Cycle
The default cycle duration of the Sterilize+™ UV Sanitizing Tower is 15 minutes. If you want
a longer cycle, you have 3 options: 30,45, 60 minutes. To select a different cycle, tap the
power key on top of the lamp once to select a 30-minute cycle, twice for a 45-minute cycle,
thrice for 60-minutes, and 4 times to revert to the 15-minute cycle.
To change the cycle using the remote control, simply click the time setting once.
Keeping Safe During Sanitization

During sanitization, do not cover the lamp, and ensure that the windows and doors of the
sanitization area are closed. Keep people and animals out during sanitization, and make sure
that plants in the sanitization area are covered or removed before starting the process.
Safety Precaution After Sanitization
After the Sterilize+™ UV Sanitizing Tower finishes the sanitization process, the space
needs to be ventilated for 30-40 minutes before anyone can enter.

Proper Cleaning and Maintenance
Wipe the lamp with a clean, dry towel after every use to maintain optimal sanitization effect.
Frequency of Use
It is recommended to use the Sterilize+™ UV Sanitizing Tower twice a week at 30 minutes per
cycle.
Only for Indoor Use
This product is only for indoor use. Place the Sterilize+™ UV Sanitizing Tower in an
area without vibrations and where it will not catch moisture.

WHAT IS UV-C LIGHT?
UV stands for ultraviolet light. Ultraviolet light represents the frequency of light between 100
nanometers (nm) and 400nm and cannot be seen with the naked eye. Within the UV spectrum
lie three distinct bands of light: UV-A, UV-B, and UV-C.
UV-A (400nm - 315nm): The long wave UV light (315nm to 400nm) or UV-A refers to what we
commonly call “black light.” This is the longest wavelength region and has the lowest energy.
UV-A represents the largest portion of natural UV light.
UV-B (315nm - 280nm): The UV-B (280nm to 315nm), or mid-range UV, causes sunburn.
UV-C (280nm - 100nm): The germicidal UV light (100nm to 280nm), or UV-C, is effective in
microbial control. Scientific research has proven that the most effective frequency for microbial
destruction is between 280nm and 200nm, which is within the UV-C band. Therefore, as long
as the nm frequency of a germicidal lamp is well controlled within that range, the
microorganisms will be destroyed effectively.
Please note: Opportunities for infection are abundant and virtually everywhere, so it is important
to realize that use of the Sterilize+™ UV Sanitizing Tower does not guarantee that the user
will avoid illness. To avoid microbial infection, one must take a wide range of precautions. The
use of the Sterilize+™ UV Sanitizing Tower is an important precaution, but not the only
precaution one should take.
