The conversion kit illustrations in these instructions are generic in nature. The conversion kit
you have purchased may not look like the ones illustrated; however, they all assemble in the
same manner.

Toddler Bed/Daybed Assembly
NOTE: Read all instructions before assembling toddler bed/daybed. KEEP INSTRUC-
TIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
Attached to the mattress platform is a sleeve to store the instruction booklet.
After assembly is complete, place this instruction booklet in the sleeve for future
reference.
This toddler bed/daybed conforms to the ASTM International and the CPSC-Consumer
Product Safety Commission guidelines for product safety. Please adhere to the guide-
lines in this booklet for assembly, operation and maintenance.
Note the recommendations below:
 Power tools are not recommended for assembly.
 Give yourself plenty of room to work.
 Due to the size of this bed, it must be assembled in the space it will occupy.
 The assembly will take two people to complete.
 Layout all the hardware and make sure that the proper length bolts are used in the
designated areas.
 Do not substitute hardware. If an item is missing or damaged contact Stanley
Furniture Company immediately for replacement. Inspect all component parts and
hardware prior to beginning the assembly process.
 Make sure all fasteners are tight.
 Above all, take your time and read the instructions carefully.

Attaching the Conversion Kit
Step 1:
 Before attaching the Toddler Conversion
Kit to your Crib the Mattress Platform
must be placed in the lowest position. See
Figure 6. Refer to page 12 in your Crib
Instruction Booklet. Do not reattach the
Footboard.
 Loosen the (4) 3/4” connector bolt on Mat-
tress Platform this time. Do not fully re-
move or pull out from the insert of mattress
platform.
 Position the Conversion Kit by aligning the
locator hole to metal locator pin. See Fig-
ure 8.
 Align the holes in the Frame Posts with the
holes in the conversion kit. Insert (4) 2”
Connector Bolts with Curve Washer to the
conversion kit connector cut out. Securely
tighten with the provided allen wrench.
See Figure 8.
 Figure 9 illustrates how the completed
Toddler Bed should look.
 After assembly is completed check all as-
sembly bolts and make sur e each is se-
curely tightened using the provided allen
wrench.

Final Step
Step 2: (The final and most important) Checklist.
 Inspect the bed once again to assure that all bolts are tight and that no hardware is missing. (if you
are missing hardware, contact Stanley Furniture immediately for replacement and do not use the
bed until the new hardware arrives).
 Do not place the bed near a window where the child may have access to window coverings, cords
or draperies as these articles pose a strangulation hazard.
 Replace the instructions in the holder provided. KEEP THE INSTRUCTIONS WITH THE BED.
 Install the crib mattress.
 Follow all the warnings on the use of this bed and all products in the bed.
 CAUTION: Any mattress used in this bed must be at least 27-1/4” by 51-5/8” with a thickness of
no less than 4 inches and not exceeding 6 inches.
Conversion from Toddler Bed to Daybed.
Your Built to Grow Toddler Bed can be converted to
a Daybed by removing the Toddler Safety Rail from
the Toddler Bed/Daybed Conversion Kit. Refer to
page 6 of this instruction booklet.
Conversion to a Full Size (4/6) Bed.
Items are available to convert your crib to a full-size bed.
Contact your Stanley Furniture dealer to purchase these
items. Instructions to convert the Built to Grow crib are on
page 14 of the crib instructions booklet.

Cleaning:
Mix together a mild solution of gentle dishwashing liquid and water, apply to the Toddler
Bed surface using a soft clean cloth lightly dampened in the solution. Rinse with clear
water, using a lightly dampened, soft clean cloth, then dry all surfaces thoroughly with a
dry cloth. NO ABRASIVE CLEANERS, SCOURING PADS, STEEL WOOL OR
COURSE RAGS SHOULD BE USED TO CLEAN THIS FINE FURNITURE.
Storage:
A permanent storage pouch is attached to the mattress platform for the storage of the as-
sembly instructions. After completing the assembly process, you are advised to read and
be aware of all WARNINGS, CAUTIONS, CLEANING, STORAGE, USE AND
MAINTENANCE notices contained in these instructions. Do not to place excess hard-
ware in the storage pouch as it could present a danger to a child if retrieved and could al-
so damage the mattress. When storing the Toddler Bed, use CAUTION as temperature
changes and humidity could be harmful to the Toddler Bed. It is recommended that the
Toddler Bed be stored in a temperature controlled environment.
Periodic Maintenance:
1. Periodically check to make sure all bolts and connections are fastened securely.
2. If you are missing a part or need a replacement part, do not substitute parts. Ask your
dealer for replacement parts or contact Customer Service at [phone].
3. Save these instructions, in the sleeve attached to the mattress platform, in the event you
disassemble the Toddler Bed and need to reassemble it. These instructions will also be
useful in identifying replacement parts if needed at a future date.

La cama para niños (o sofá cama) cumple con las normas para la seguridad de produc-

funcionamiento y mantenimiento de la cuna.
Tome nota de las recomendaciones a continuación:

Fijar el kit de conversión
Paso 1:
 Antes de fijar el kit de conversión de cama para
niños a su cuna, la plataforma del colchón debe
estar en la posición más baja. Véase la figura 6.
Consulte la página 12 de su manual de instruc-
ciones para la cuna. No vuelva a fijar el pie de
la cuna.
 En este paso, afloje los (4) pernos conectores
de 3/4 in en la plataforma del colchón. No los
retire completamente ni los extraiga de las pen-
etraciones de la plataforma del colchón.
 Coloque el kit de conversión mediante la aline-
ación de los orificios de la barra con la barra de
metal.
 Alinee los orificios de los postes del soporte
con los orificios del kit de conversión. Intro-
duzca (4) pernos conectores de 2 in con aran-
delas circulares en la abertura para conectores
del kit de conversión. Véase la figura 8.
 La figura 9 muestra cómo debería verse la
cama para niños terminada.
 Luego de completar el montaje, verifique todos
los pernos y asegúrese de que todos estén ajus-
tados firmemente mediante el uso de la llave
inglesa proporcionada.

Paso final
Paso 2: La lista de verificación (final y más importante).
 Inspeccione la cama nuevamente para asegurarse de que todos los pernos estén ajustados y que no
falte ninguna pieza. ((Si descubre que falta alguna pieza, comuníquese con Stanley Furniture inme-
diatamente para su sustitución y no utilice la cama hasta que reciba la pieza nueva).
 No coloque la cama cerca de una ventana con contraventanas, cordones o cortinas, a los que el niño
pueda tener acceso, debido a que estos elementos pueden causar un riesgo de estrangulación.
 Vuelva a colocar las instrucciones en el soporte proporcionado. MANTENGA LAS INSTRUC-
CIONES JUNTO A LA CAMA.
 Instale el colchón de la cuna.
 Siga todas las advertencias con respecto al uso de esta cama y de todos sus productos.
 PRECAUCIÓN: Cualquier colchón utilizado para esta cama debe tener un mínimo de 27 a 1/4 in,
por 51 a 5/8 in, con un grosor de por lo menos 4 in y de hasta 6 in.
Conversión de cama para niños a sofá cama.
Su cama para niños Built to Grow puede convertirse
en un sofá cama al remover las barandillas de seguri-
dad del kit de conversión de cama para niños (o sofá
cama). Consulte la página 6 de este manual de in-
strucciones.
Conversión en una cama de tamaño normal (4/6).

Limpieza:
Mezcle una solución suave de un líquido lavavajillas no tan fuerte y agua, y aplíquesela a
la superficie de la cama mediante el uso de un paño suave, limpio y ligeramente humede-
cido con la solución. Enjuague con agua limpia mediante el uso de un paño suave, limpio
y ligeramente humedecido, y luego seque bien todas las superficies con un paño seco. NO
SE DEBEN UTILIZAR LIMPIADORES ABRASIVOS, ESPONJAS LIMPIADORAS,
LANAS DE ACERO O TRAPOS ÁSPEROS PARA LIMPIAR ESTE MUEBLE DE
GRAN CALIDAD.
Almacenamiento:
A Una bolsa fija se encuentra unida a la plataforma del colchón para guardar las instruc-
ciones de montaje. Luego de completar el proceso de montaje, se recomienda que lea y
tenga en cuenta todos los avisos de ADVERTENCIA, PRECAUCIÓN, LIMPIEZA, AL-

ñar la cama. Se recomienda que guarde la cama para niños en un ambiente con tempera-
tura controlada.
Mantenimiento periódico:
1. Realice verificaciones periódicamente para asegurarse de que los pernos y las conex-
iones estén sujetados firmemente.
2. Si descubre que falta alguna pieza o necesita un repuesto, no sustituya las piezas.
Solicítele a su vendedor los repuestos de las piezas o comuníquese con el Servicio de

3. Guarde las instrucciones, en la funda unida a la plataforma del colchón, en caso de que
