Thank you for purchasing Elixia. Use new and good quality brands of Alkaline, Ni-MH and NI-Cd
batteries and recharge them when a noticeable decline in their performance is evident.
How to use
1. Connect the power cable to the socket (AC 100 V – 240 V).
2. Insert the battery or batteries to be recharged in the correct orientation.
3. Wait until the LED indicator turns green indicating the end of the loading cycle.
4. Remove the batteries and unplug the power cord.
Elixia is equipped with status LED indicators
 LED turns red: the battery is charging. If the red LED turns off when charging, the inserted
batteries are too old to be recharged.
 LED turns green: end of charging.
 LED is switched off: the battery is damaged physically/chemically/electrically.

Warning
Elixia can only be used to recharge Alkaline, Ni-MH or Ni-Cd batteries and NOT TO BE USED
FOR OTHER types of batteries, such as ZINC-CARBON, LI-ION batteries or other RECHARGEABLE
BATTERIES/ACCUMULATORS. OLD, DAMAGED AND RUSTY BATTERIES SHALL NEVER BE
RECHARGED.
 Please be aware that storing batteries in such a way that the positive and negative poles
touch will discharge them.
 Do not charge old unused, defective, Carbon-Zinc or rechargeable batteries. This may
cause battery overheating and leakage of chemicals and damage to the battery charger.
 Never try to open the battery charger. It will void its warranty and may cause fire or electric
shock.
 Keep the battery charger away from heat and do not expose to sunlight.
STRONG does not accept any liability for the battery or any consequential damage and cannot
guarantee charging of batteries despite proper handling.

Warranty voids in the following situations
 Damages to the product by loss of chemicals released from the batteries. This release
depends on the physical/chemical/electrical condition of the inserted battery and/or the
battery quality or when the battery is damaged and/or oxidized by prolonged non-use.
 Damages or failures caused by a dropped product, humidity or shock.
 Damage or failure caused by attempted misuse and/or tampering with the product,
attempted repair by unauthorized third parties and/or any type of change made to the
product.
 Damage or failure of the product due to natural disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes,
tornadoes, lightning or abnormal voltage and damage caused by animals.
