Assembly & Fitting Instructions
Scope of use:
It is recommended that you use this product in conjunction
with a suitable Stronghold hitchlock when tted to a caravan
or trailer.
Maintenance:
• Lubricate lock regularly with a light oil spray.
• When cleaning this product use a cloth and
mild detergent.

Fitting Instructions

Place the top arm over the tyre.

If tted, wheel trims may be removed for
increased security.
Insert the top arm into the channel on the
back plate and adjust the height of the back
plate to cover the centre of the wheel and
the wheel bolts. Fix the plate by inserting the
xing screw through the closest of the holes
in the channel into the threaded hole in the
top arm and tightening by hand.
Note – Once set, these parts can remain
assembled when removing the clamp from
the vehicle.

Slotted holes in each of the lower arms must
be passed over TWO xed pins on the back
plate. The holes used for each arm should be
selected to position them as close as possible
to the tyre. Once the arms have been tted,
slide the arms outwards from the centre of
the back plate to lock the pins into the slotted
holes.

To t the cover plate, place the cover over
the back plate covering the arms and slide
downwards (around 3cm) until the holes for
the lock are correctly aligned.
Note: The ange on the rear of the cover plate
should pass behind the back plate as it is
moved downwards into position.

Insert the lock into the holes in both plates.
Rotate the key anti-clockwise 180° to the
locked position, remove the key and keep
safe.

The design of Stronghold keys means that genuine
replacements are only available by special order through the place
of purchase, for which you will require your key number. Please note,
the use of unapproved copy keys will void your warranty.
