Do not place the product in a location near a heat source such as a radiator, or in an
area subject to direct sunlight, excessive dust, mechanical vibration or shock
The product must not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with
liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the product
No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the product
Allow adequate air circulation and avoid obstructing vents (if present) to prevent
internal heat build-up. The ventillation must not be impeded by covering the
appliance with items such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains etc.
To prevent injury, this appliance must be securely attached to the floor/wall in
accordance with the installation instructions.
The mains plug is used to disconnect the appliance from the mains supply. Ensure that
the mains outlet is easily-accessible and remove the plug from the mains outlet if you
notice any abnormality with the appliance.

CONTROLS & FUNCTIONS
1. DIGITAL MEDIA PLAYER
See Digital Media Player section on page 8 for
further details.
2. DSP SETTING INDICATOR
Displays the current DSP setting.
3. INPUT 1 RCA INPUT
Connect a playback device via RCA Phono.
4. INPUT 1 CONNECTION
Connect an instrument, playback device, or
other line level equipment via either 6.3mm
(1/4”) Jack or XLR.
5. MIX OUT
Master output. This output sends out a
combination of all the channels that have the
volume turned up (balanced, mono summed).
6. LED INDICATORS
POWER
When lit, the power is on.
SIG
When lit, the speaker is receiving an input
signal.
CLIP
When lit, the input signal level is excessive and
should be reduced.
7. DSP SETTING SELECTOR
Selects the desired DSP setting. Use the dial
to scroll through the 5 settings. See page 9 for
further details.
8. INPUT 1 VOLUME CONTROL
Increases or decreases the volume for input 1
or the digital media player.
9. MIC/LINE SELECTOR SWITCH
Select MIC when a microphone is connected.
Select LINE when an instrument or playback
device is connected.
10. INPUT 2 VOLUME CONTROL
Increases or decreases the input 2 volume.
11. INPUT 2 CONNECTION
Connect a microphone, instrument, or playback
device via either 6.3mm Jack or XLR. Ensure
the correct setting for either mic level or line
level connections by using the mic/line selector
switch (9).
12. POWER SWITCH
Switches the product on or off.
13. VOLTAGE SWITCH
Changes the input voltage. Ensure the correct
voltage is selected for your region.
14. POWER CONNECTION
Connect the supplied power cable here.

Change between Bluetooth, SD or USB devices.
2. PLAY/PAUSE
Plays or pauses the selected track.
3. STOP
Stops the current track.
4. REPEAT
Press once to repeat the current track. Press twice
to repeat all tracks.
5. SKIP TRACK BACKWARDS
Selects the previous track.
6. SKIP TRACK FORWARDS
Selects the next track.
7. SD CARD
Insert SD card here. Formats accepted include
MP3, WAV, WMA, AIFF, FLAC.
8. USB
Insert USB device here. Formats accepted
include MP3, WAV, WMA, AIFF, FLAC.
BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
To connect a Bluetooth device to the speakers
digital media player, please follow the below steps.
• Ensure that the speaker is powered on and within
range of the Bluetooth device.
• Press the MODE button on the speakers digital
media player until ‘Bluetooth’ is displayed on the
screen.
• Open the Bluetooth settings on the Bluetooth
enabled device.
• Scan for Bluetooth devices and search for
SZS-D12 in the devices list.
• Select SZS-D12. The Bluetooth enabled device
should confirm that it is now connected.
• Play audio from the Bluetooth enabled device,
ensuring that volume is turned up.
• Turn up the CH3/MP3 volume control on the
speaker to the required level.
