Advice: If you press the control switch and at the
same time pull the traverse joint manually out of his
traversing range, for example into the stack beyond
the switch off postion, the motor starts turning and
traverses - corresponding to switch setting. It moves
as far as possible into the stack, respectively at the
opposite side against the rail counter bearing with-
out switching off. As soon as the traverse joint will
manually be pulled into the stopping range of the
motor again, the motor will find its switch off positi-
on and stopps.
6. New adjustment of switch off positions
Reset of the motor into delivery status for re-instal-
lation of the switch off position:
1. Move curtain into switch off position “open
curtain” (stack position).
2. Release motor and remove it from
curtain track.
3. Adjust new stack postion at traverse joint
manually.
4. Keep pressing lower motor key and press
switch for moving direction “shut curtain”.
Let motor turn until it stopps automatically.
5. Release lower motor key.
6. Switch off positions are on top of each
other. Test by pressing both motor keys.
Motor does not turn in any way.
7. Fix motor at the rail and lock it.
8. Keep on pressing upper motor key and press
control switch for moving direction “shut
curtain” until the requested switch off
postion is reached.
7. Radio remote control
You can control Easytrack PLUS easily via radio
remote control. For this a separate receiver is being
integrated into the supply line. Operation is done
with hand sender for one or more curtain tracks. Per
group controls it is possible to control mutiple cur-
tain tracks.

4. Switch off position for stacked curtain
The motor can optionally be fixed on the right or left side of the curtain track rail.
The motor has not yet been mounted!
1. Move traverse joint manually to the required stack
position, sticker plus 1 cm (illustr. 3).
2. Take care that the motor bar is in the rail gear.
3. Turn motor into the bajonett coupling, until the covers
of the adjusting switches show towards the room.
At the same time the traverse joint moves to a
position directly above the sticker.
While turning in push both bottons at the same time.
4. Now the switch off postion for stacked drapery is already
fixed. Pressing motor key or
traversing is not necessary!
5. Switch-off position for closed curtain
Start motor. The motor does only respond to the control switch “shut curtain” and traverses abt. 500 mm. Put
control switch in null-position. The moving direction of the traverse joint is according to the arrow on the
control switch. If not, change black and brown connection cable
at control switch. Remove cover cap for motor keys (ill. 4). Keep
on pressing upper motor key and press control switch for
moving direction “shut curtain”. Move traverse joint to switch
off position “shut curtain” (illustr. 5). You can shuttle as long as
the exact position has been reached.
Advice: alternatively you can also engage the switch setting
“shut curtain” and move the traverse joint towards switch off
position “shut curtain” by tapping the upper motor key.
Important: As soon as you release the motor key, a switch-off
position is memorized. To modify this memorized position, turn
control switch to null-position, re-press the upper motor key and
then engage control switch “shut curtain” until the requested
switch-off postion is reached. The same proceeding can be
applied in order to modify a memorized stack position, in this
case just re-press the lower motor key.
The motor keys can also be kept pressed by means of the cover
cap (ill. 6). So the operater may, especially in case of long rails,
move away from the motor in order to better adjust switch-off
position “shut curtain”. Same proceeding is applicable for
switch-off position “stacked curtain”. The switch-off positions
can also be adjusted manually with the help of the cover cap:
Press control switch “shut curtain”. Wait until the motor stops.
Put control switch into null-position.
Engage upper motor key by means of cover cap. Move traverse
joint manually to desired switch-off position.
Remove cover cap.
Switch-off position is adjusted and memorized. Same proceeding
is applicable for a simple modification of switch-off position
“stacked curtain” is possible.

2. Electrical connection
The motor is being delivered ready for connection and has
to be wired color-coded at the free end of the motor wire.
In certain cases it might be necessary to wire the supply
directly in the motor.
For this open the lower cover (illustr. 1) carefully, guide the
cable through the cable grommet and wire according to
illustr. 2. The connection board can be lift up abt. 20 mm
and has to be pressed down cautiously after wiring. Close
cover again. Use for operation only locked push button
switches like venetian blind switches or comfortable swit-
ches with visual null-position. Wiring diagram see overleaf.
3. Switch off positions
On delivery the switch off position “open curtain” (stack
position) as well as traverse path of abt.
500 mm are preset. Do not activate the motor until star-
ting up the curtain track!

Safety instructions
Before starting sundrape®electric motors, group con-
trols and radio remote controls carefully read technical
instructions for connexion, mounting and operation.
In case of damages caused by disregarding these
instructions, the guarantee expires. For consequential
damages we do not
assume any responsibility.
Attention – to assure the security of persons and faci-
lities these instructions have to be observed absolute-
ly! File the instructions carefully!
This device is not designed for employees (including
kids) with limited physical or mental skills or sensory
perception or for persons with a lack of experience or
knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person
who is responsible for their security or unless they
received instructions how to use the device.
Children are not allowed to play with stationary con-
trols and electrical systems. Keep radio remote control
devices away from children! Kids should be watched to
make sure that they do not play with the device.
The system has to be checked regularly on signs of
wear or damaged electrical lines.
Attention – inadequate mounting can cause severe
injuries!
Before you start maintenance work on electrical blinds,
always cut off power supply. The same applies to win-
dow cleaning work, if contact of humidity and cleaning
agents with the electrical systems is possible.
Connexion instructions for
sundrape®electric motors
Connexions and supply lines have to be passed
on site by authorized electricians according to
VDE (German Electrical Engineering Association)
and local EVU (electric supply company) instruc-
tions.
For controls of two and more motors a group
control is required. Cable laying plans and wiring
diagrams for group and central controls as well
as remote controls can be submitted on request.
Switch off unused lines and systems before you
connect the motor. Place push-buttons above a
height of 1,5 m near the system.
Allowed running periods and torques have to
correspond with the motor’s technical data.
In order to avoid backing ups of condensers
of running motors, parallel connexion of two
or more motors at one exit is prohibited. For
decoupling purposes a separate contact for
each direction of rotation is required.
Use only mechanically or electrically locked
switches and push-buttons. Switches and
controls may not permit concurrent up and
down operation! The time to change the
running direction from up/down to down/up
has to be at a minimum of 0,5 seconds. This
applies also for programmable control devi-
ces.
