I. ProductIntroduction
Thisuserguide isonlysuitablefor2D barcode scanner.The purposeisto knowall knowledge with
barcode identification equipment forcustomers.This manualismainlyforthe softwareengineers and some
customerswho wantto knowthe devicein further.
Thismanualliststhe mainfunction ofthe scanner,including:barcode reading,supported barcode
type,data edition,command setting and advance setting.
II Quick to use
2.1 Install method
ForUSBdevice, itisplug and play, no needextrapowersupplyto identifyHID device.Thatsconvenient
appropriateforWindows,Linux,Androidandothersystem.Also, supportVirtualCOMport, justneed anextra
drivesupply,whichcan be supported bythiscompanyordealers to offer.The physicalserialportconformsto
standardRS-232interfaces,whichcandirectlycommunicatewithstandardRS232device.Note,incaseofserial
port,additionalPowerDC5Visgenerallyrequired.Fordetails,pleasereferto the serialportfunction
section.SomeofmodelssupportforKB interface. Need topoweroffthe deviceandpluginthedevicewith
common keyboard, then poweron againandstart to communicate.
2.2 Quick to use
Afterconnecting ina short time on device,thescannerwillbe onbyitself, includeinterface, poweron
indicate,volume indicate,configuration, parameters setting. Normally,directlypressing the button can
activatedecoding. In additional, some modelsalso support automation induction trigger, serialcommand trigger.
2.3 Settings method
There are two methodsforset up.
One method iswithout parameterset up whichscan one barcode isok.
Example: “enable successfulreading voice prompt”, or “enableCode 39”.
The othermethod needsto set up parameter.
Example: set “98”assuffix.
Settingsteps: “customsuffix”, “3”, “9”, “3”, “8”,”Save”.
