Introduction
Congratulations on your new Zoey!
Welcome to a new, minimal way to clean your CPAP equipment. We’ve
streamlined the process so that your experience is as easy as Z-O-E… Y!
Zoey is designed with simplicity in mind. The unit cleans your CPAP mask,
headgear, and tubing using contained activated oxygen, also known as
ozone, or 0. Daily use is an effective and stress-free way to prevent
harmful bacteria build-up. Zoey’s soft LED lights communicate the cleaning
process using simple, easy-to-reference patterns.

2. Operation
Gently push down on
the press point until it
clicks and opens lid.
2.1 Initial Setup

Remove ozone plug adapter
from the tray and connect to
Zoey's injection tube.
NOTE: The ↑CPAP↑ arrows on
the check valve tag should point
towards the ozone plug adapter.

Remove the filter from
plastic wrap. Place into
filter holster in Zoey’s
chamber, the foot of the
vented end first, then click
in place.
NOTE: It is normal to find
loose charcoal debris in lter
plastic wrap.

Plug the included
power adapter
cord into Zoey's
power socket. Plug
the other end into
a wall outlet.

You MUST use the filter
to prevent harmful
unconverted ozone from
entering air.

Remove tray
and tray support
piece from Zoey's
interior chamber.

Place your CPAP mask and
headgear into the chamber.
If you use a chinstrap, you
can also place this in the
chamber. Close the lid and
push down on the press
point until it clicks.
2.2 Using Zoey
Before first time use, it is recommended to hand wash your CPAP equipment
according to manufacturer's instructions, as you would normally without Zoey.
This removes debris, and prevents oxidation odors from occurring in your CPAP
equipment after running the Zoey cleaning cycle. When using Zoey regularly, you'll
only need to hand wash your CPAP equipment as needed.

Push down on the press

Disconnect your
CPAP tube from
your CPAP mask
and machine.
Connect ozone plug adapter to
one end of your CPAP tube.
A standard CPAP tube is shown, but
you may also use a heated CPAP tube.

Connect the other
end of your CPAP
tube to Zoey's tube
connector. Ensure a firm
connection to trigger
the CPAP tube sensor.
Once both the lid is
closed and latched and
the tube cuff has firmly
engaged with the Zoey
CPAP tube connector
sensor, the cycle can be
started.
Zoey is connected!
Next step
5Connect CPAP tube cuff all the
way onto Zoey's CPAP tube
connector, in order to press in
and trigger the CPAP tube sensor.
The CPAP tube sensor should be
rmly held in place by the CPAP
tube cuff.

Press the power button to start cleaning cycle.
When the first system status LED light turns blue, you
may walk away and let Zoey clean.
It is important to keep Zoey closed during the entire
cycle. If cleaning cycle is interrupted, wait 2 hours
before opening the chamber.
The second blue light will blink as ozone is being
generated for approximately 20 minutes. You will hear
the sound of the ozone generator during this time.
The third blue light will blink to indicate Zoey is
converting ozone back to regular, safe, breathable
oxygen. This will last for approximately 1 hour and 40
minutes. Zoey is quiet during this time.
When all three lights display solid green, the cycle is
complete and it is safe to open Zoey.
Remove CPAP tube from Zoey while lid is open to turn
off green lights.
Do you see red lights? If so, ensure the CPAP
tube is pushed in far enough onto Zoey's CPAP
tube connector in order to trigger the sensor (see step 4
on previous page), and verify that the lid is rmly shut.
Ensure tubes are free from kinks or sharp bends during Zoey's cycle.
Zoey cleans germs and bacteria in your equipment, but it's
recommended to wash mask cushions and other CPAP items
periodically to prevent buildup of facial oil from CPAP treatment.
To cancel cycle
Hold down power button until yellow lights count down
completely. Release button if lights turn blue. This means
ozone has generated, and you must wait 2 hours before
opening chamber. However, if lights clear after countdown,
you may open chamber.
