D108 Series
DYNAMIC VOCAL MICROPHONE
Description
Superlux now presents the D108 series dynamic micro-
phone which is a milestone in the world of profession-
al vocal microphones, exhibiting exceptionally uniform
frequency response not only on-axis, but also off-axis.
And D108 series features the balanced tone and natural
sound profiles and delivers clear and warm vocal repro-
duction.
D108 series comes with two versions, one is D108A de-
signed for recording with tailored vocal sound and best
for close miking, and the other is D108B best for live
sound performance with a tailored bass punch response.
The modular design of the D108’s capsule with its
gold-plated connectors permits easy separation of the
grille and capsule from the body of the microphone, facil-
itating maintenance. The D108 has a super-cardioid pick-
up pattern which isolates the main sound source while
minimizing background noise.
Constructed of durable metal with a strengthened mesh
grille, foam filter and shock-mount system to cut down
handling noise, the D108 is very sturdy, withstanding
even the occasional dropping while still producing a
sound quality that is unsurpassed. No matter whether
indoor or outdoor, singing or speech, the D108’s perfor-
mance will satisfy the most demanding professionals.

General handling
To prevent damage, never use force when handling the
product. Never immerse the product in liquids. Just wipe
it with a clean, dry cloth. Never use liquid cleaners such
as benzene, thinner, or flammable detergents to clean
the product.
Disposal
Old devices
Devices with this label are subject to the current
EU directive on waste electrical and electronic
equipment (WEEE directive) and may not be dis-
posed of with household waste, but only via a suit-
able disposal company. Ask your local authority or your
specialist dealer about your options for proper disposal.
Packagings
Environmentally friendly materials have been se-
lected for the packaging and are to be recycled.
Do not just throw away plastic sleeves, packaging,
etc., but recycle them. If necessary, note the instructions
and labels on the packaging.
