To Remove the BPN-ADP-2M2-1UB:
1. Power down the system and remove the power cord from the rear of the power supply.
2. Use industry-standard anti-static equipment (such as gloves or wrist strap) and follow the precautions on page 3-1 to avoid
damage caused by ESD.
3. Remove the chassis from the rack
4. Take off cover
5. Remove any DIMMs obstructing access to the BPN-ADP-2M2-1UB
7. Remove the two screws from the left hand side of the chassis that secure the BPN-ADP-2M2-1UB to the chassis
8. Pull the card out of the socket by both notched edges (front and back) of the card. Be careful not to exert any force on any M.2
SSD’s already installed on the card.
9. For one M.2 SSD at a time, remove the plug from the standoff and allow the M.2 SSD to lift up at an angle before removing it from
the M.2 socket
To Install the BPN-ADP-2M2-1UB and M.2 SSDs:
1. Power down the system and remove the power cord from the rear of the power supply.
2. Use industry-standard anti-static equipment (such as gloves or wrist strap) and follow the precautions on page 3-1 to avoid
damage caused by ESD.
3. Remove the chassis from the rack
4. Take off cover and remove any DIMMs obstructing access to the BPN-ADP-2M2-1UB’s socket
7. Install the standoffs in the appropriate holes that correspond with the form factor of the M.2 SSD to be installed (42mm, 60mm or
80mm length M.2 SSDs are allowed)
8. Insert one or two M.2 SSDs into the slots on the expansion card as illustrated below.
9. Secure each M.2 by firmly inserting the standoff plug per the illustration below.
10. With the screws provided, secure the BPN-ADP-2M2-1UB to the chassis
11. Replace any DIMMs that may have been removed
12. Replace cover and re-rack.
13. Plug the power cords into the rear of the power supply and power up the system
