Introduction
SureShade has developed a high speed mesh bimini
exclusively for the power bimini installed on your pontoon
or deck boat that not only protects, but stays in place at
speeds up to 55 mph.
You can leisurely cruise with shade or ride the waves.
The 8-½’ x 10’—fully extended—Speed Top power shade
easily fits over the SureShade Power Bimini frame on your
deck or pontoon boat.
Our bimini is made with a nylon mesh that gives you the
protection you need from rain or the harsh UV rays of the
sun. Unlike traditional canvas bimini tops, the mesh doesn’t
hold the heat so you can remain comfortable.
Shade in an instant, add speed and you’re ready for a
perfect day on the water!

Installation
If replacing a traditional bimini canvas fabric top with
the Lippert high speed fine mesh top, follow the original
owner’s manual removal instructions for the canvas top.
Such instructions may include:
• Removal of any securing straps.
• Unsnapping canvas corner button snaps.
• Unzipping bimini frame canvas pockets.
Install the optional Lippert high speed mesh top as follows:
1. Retract—lower—the bimini frame almost all of the
way down.
2. Unzip the rear, middle and front mounting pockets of the
Lippert high speed mesh top.
3. Place the mesh top over the bimini frame.
NOTE: The rear of the mesh top has an access hole for
a stern light, the front of the mesh top has a zippered
storage pouch that is separate form the top’s front zippered
mounting pocket.
4. If a stern light is attached to the rear frame’s bow, slip
the mesh top’s access hole over the light, then spread the
top outward; aligning the rear zippered pouch over the
bimini’s rear bow frame.
5. Zip the rear mesh top pocket closed over the rear bimini
frame bow.
6. Pull the middle zippered pocket of the mesh top over the
middle frame bow, then zip it closed.
7. Pull the front zippered pocket of the mesh top over the
front frame bow, then zip it closed.
Operation
1. Turn on electrical power to the boat.
2. Remove any protective boot or restraints from the high
speed mesh top.
3. To operate the quick-connect (QC) bimini top, use one of
the following methods:
• Helm switch
• QC controller
NOTE: A helm switch and the QC controller are NOT
compatible. Only one type of control can be used.
NOTE: Do NOT fully open the QC bimini system without a
top installed or failure of the system will result.
Storage
When the high speed mesh top is not in use, properly store
the canopy as follows:
1. Lower the top to its fully retracted position.
2. Install the boot over the canopy.

Troubleshooting
What is happening? Why? What should be done?
Mesh top sags. Unzipped frame pocket. Zip all frame pockets closed.
Mesh top not fully opened. Fully open mesh top.
Maintenance
Fabric Care
Use clear water to consistently hose off the bimini top
fabric during the boating season.
If necessary, do a deeper clean of the bimini top fabric as
follows:
1. If necessary, remove the boot and place the bimini top
into its full open position.
2. If the top was stored wet, allow the bimini top and boot
to dry.
3. Remove any loose dirt and debris from the bimini top
and boot.
4. Hose down the bimini top and boot fabric.
5. Prepare a mixture of ¼ cup of mild dish soap and ve
gallons of warm water.
NOTE: Do NOT use harsh detergents.
6. Use a soft bristle brush to apply the soapy water
to the bimini top and boot fabric to remove stains and
embedded dirt.
7. Allow the solution time to soak completely into the fabric.
8. Hose o󰀨 the bimini top and boot fabric with fresh water.
Repeat if necessary.
9. Allow bimini top and boot to dry before closing the top
and installing the protective boot.
