• When adding or replacing oil, always use a good
grade hydraulic jack oil such as Shell Tellus 22.
• Avoid mixing different grades/types of oil. DO
NOT use brake fluid, alcohol, glycerine, detergent
motor oil or dirty oil. Improper fluid can cause seri-
ous internal damage to long ram.
• When adding oil, be very careful not to per-
mit dirt or foreign matter to get into the system.
Check ram and plunger every three months for
any signs of rust or corrosion. Clean as needed and
wipe with an oily cloth.
• When not using the long ram, always leave the
jib in the fully lowered position.
IMPORTANT:
It is possible that air has got into the hydraulic sys-
tem, causing poor lifting performance, purge any
air from the system by fully opening release valve
(turn handle counterclockwise), then while hold-
ing the jib down, operate pump handle rapidly
several times.
• To raised load
Close release valve do not overtighten.
• To lower load
Open release valve by turning handle very solo-
wly, the speed of lowering the load is controlled
by how much you turn the handle.
NOTE:
Front legs must always be locked in down position
before applying load and/or raising jib. Jib must
be in fully lowered position before raising legs.
Legs must never be raised when crane is carrying
load legs must be locked in place when raised.
Will not hold load. Dirt on valve seats.
• Lower lifting jib. Close the release valve and re-
move oil filler plug.
• Place one foot on the leg and pull up the lifting
jib to its full height by hand.
• Open the release valve to lower the lifting jib.
• Worn seals.
Will not lift load. Air block.
• Open the release valve and remove oil filler plug.
• Pump handle a couple of full strokes and close
the release valve.
Pump will not lift to its full height. The reser-
voir could be over filled.
• Check the oil level.
• Remove the filler plug.
• Cuando agregue o cambie el aceite use siempre
un aceite para gato de buen grado.
• Evite mezclar diferentes grados de aceite.
• Evite usar líquido de freno, alcohol, glicerina, de-
tergente para motor, aceite sucio.
• Cuando añada aceite evite permitir introducir
algún objeto o suciedad al sistema.
• Revise cada tres meses el sistema hidráulico.
• Cuando no use la pluma tenga el brazo en pos-
ición baja.
IMPORTANTE
Es posible que se introduzca aire en el sistema
hidráulico, esto puede causar baja capacidad de
levante, purgue el aire abriendo la válvula (en di-
rección de las manecillas del reloj) y con el brazo
en posición baja bombeé varias veces.
• Para levantar la carga
Cierre la válvula sin sobre apretarla.
• Para bajar la carga
Abra la válvula muy despacio, la velocidad de-
pende del giro que se le de.
NOTA:
Las piernas frontales siempre tienen que estar en
posición de seguro al levantar o bajar el brazo.
Los brazos deben estar en posición baja antes de
levantar las piernas, las piernas no deben estar le-
vantadas cuando la pluma este cargando.
No sostiene la carga.Suciedad en las válvulas
• Baje el brazo
• Cierre la válvula de alivio y remueva el tapón de
aceite.
• Ponga un pie en la pierna de la pluma y jale el
brazo hasta su máxima altura.
• Abra la válvula de llenado.
• Cierre y ponga el tapón de aceite.
No levanta la carga. Bloqueo del aire.
• Abra la válvula de alivio y remueva el tapón de
aceite.
• Bombee unas cuantas veces y cierre la válvula
de alivio.
No bombea completamente. El envase puede
estar sobrellenado. • Revise el nivel de aceite.
No baja completamente. • Bloqueo de aire.
• Expulse el aire removiendo el tapón de aceite.
• Lubrica las partes movibles.
