SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION
If the box of your SUSHI BIKE has been se-
verely damaged during transport, please
do not continue with the assembly. We
ask you to document serious external
damage with photos and send them to
us. We will contact you immediately.
These instructions contain some safety-
relevant information to keep you safe.
We ask you to read and understand
the instructions completely before
riding your SUSHI BIKE for the first
time.
It must be pointed out that neglecting
the instructions may lead to serious ac-
cidents, personal injury and/or property
damage. If you rent out your bike, please
refer the users to these instructions and
make sure that the contents have been
understood.
We strongly recommend that you always
have the user manual to hand or in mind.
It is also important to us that you main-
tain a considerate driving style, because
we cyclists are exposed to great risks on
the road.
8
Wearing a helmet should be taken into
consideration for every driver. Wisely
chosen clothing (e.g. with reflectors) can
increase your visibility, and please watch
your trousers it should not get caught in
the chain.
A pedelec has a different driving behavior
than a normal bicycle. Spacious, free
areas give you the opportunity to fami-
liarize yourself with your SUSHI BIKE and
to get used to the new riding experience.
Please only enter the traffic when you feel
comfortable on your SUSHI BIKE.
It is also important that the bike may
suddenly start to drive when you push it.
This mainly happens when the chain is
too tight and the pedals rotate. In such a
case, simply apply the brakes to interrupt
the thrust.
It may be that by using the bike you are
much faster than before. This may increa-
se your braking distance and you need to
drive with foresight in order to be able to
react in good time.
Slippery floors, e.g. on construction sites,
can cause your rear wheel to slip. In such
situations, avoid corners, switch off the
engine or get off as a precaution.
Please familiarize yourself with the locally
applicable legal regulations before using
the bicycle.
