1.4. Modes
Game mode –Pebby is on and used for the game;
Sleep mode –Pebby is off and waiting for a remote connection;
Idle mode –Low power operation mode. Pebby is on, but it's not
currently used;
Busy mode –This status shows that somebody wake up robot with
shake. This status can be seen with the help of Dockstation in Pebby
app.

2. Getting Started
2.1. Installing the application
To start working with Pebby you need to install the Pebby
application

Then you need to log in (enter your login and password) or register
an account;
Registration is possible via the social network or via your email.
2.2. First start
Get the Pebby robot out of the box;
Pebby should have enough charge for the first power-up. Otherwise,
you need to charge it. (see step 3);
Then open the robot carefully: to do this, remove the top panel (see
Photo 1);

You will see toggle switch ON / OFF which needs to be switched to
ON mode (see Photo 2);
The robot will turn on immediately after switching the toggle switch;
Color indication of a successful start: when turned on, the robot
blinks twice, then lights up green;
Close the Pebby panel and place it in the sphere. Check the sphere
lock is securely closed (see Photo 3);
In the future, you no longer need to switch the toggle switch to turn
on the robot. Just spin the robot twice to turn it on;
After turning on, the robot will provide a WiFi network called "Pebby-
****", where the last 4 numbers correspond to the first 4 numbers
of the unique identifier (id) of the given robot. You can connect to
the network using the password 12345678;

Next, on the application central screen, please, click the "Select
Pebby network" button;
The button appears, if the robot successfully connects to the WiFi
network (in the smartphone settings panel);
Now, to start the game, click the "Connect" button on the appeared
button;
After disconnecting from Pebby - **** network, this robot
disappears from the application screen.
2.3. Power off
To stop working with Pebby, you must turn it off;
Turn Pebby off means to put it into a sleep mode. To do this, please,
use the button “shutdown” of the robot in the application settings
while playing;
If the robot is not connected within 5 minutes, it automatically goes
to a sleep mode;
Color indication of a successful shutdown: when turns off, the robot
blinks purple. Then, the laser starts blinking.

3. Charging
Due to temperature rise inside the robot during the game mode
charging isn’t possible for safety reasons. To start charging, please
change it in sleep mode;
You can charge Pebby through a USB cable by connecting it to a
power supplier source (5V);
Also, you can use the wireless charger for Pebby –Dockstation
(comes with the kit);
To charge Pebby, please, connect Dockstation to the power supply
and place the Pebby robot it in) (see photo 4).
Color indication of a successful charge:
Pebby - blinks blue;
Dockstation –(connected to power supply) LED –blue.
Dockstation automatically stops charging Pebby when it is fully
charged.

4. Remote connection
This allows you to access your robot from any place remotely;
Remote connection requires the Internet connection on your
smartphone;
To have a remote access you need to activate your Pebby, by linking
it to your account;
After successful activation, your activated robot will be displayed on
the application central tab;
Status card displays the latest information about the robot;
If any Dockstation does not detect the robot, it will be marked with
the status "Not available";
If you want to connect Pebby click on the "Connect" button, a
remote game session will be created. The button will be available if
the robot is located near the working DockStation. (see 4.1., 4.2.);
To end a remote game session, use the button shutdown of the
robot in game mode settings in your application;
To play with remote connection, you need first configure
Dockstation, prepare Pebby. (see the steps below 4.1, 4.2, 4,3).
In the remote mode, if there is no WI-FI configuration, Pebby
immediately turns off;
4.1. Dockstation
Dockstation is an independent device. It interacts wirelessly with Pebby.

Dockstation produces a information about the robot while Pebby is in a
sleep mode. It is possible while Pebby is near Dockstation with an
Internet connection. Moreover, Dockstation provide remote connection
and control of several Pebby robots (up to 5) for simultaneous
connection to them by different users.
4.2. Dockstation network configuration
Here are the steps you should follow for a successful setting:
Since you previously connected the Dockstation to the power supply,
make sure that the indication light is on. Color indication of a
successful power connection –LED green;
Next, on the application central screen, please, click the icon of
Dockstation. Then click " Select Dockstation Network " button;
You need to connect to the wi-fi network ("Dockstation_***" with
the standard password (12345678)) that Dockstation provides;
If the connection is successful, you will see a form for setting the
parameters of the home network;
Please, select your home Wi-Fi network from the list, put in your
network password in the form provided in the application. If you
don't see your home network on the list or if you're using a hidden
network, connect to your home Wi-Fi by entering the name of your
network and password manually (keep in mind that it is case
sensitive);
To have a successful connection to the home network, please make
sure that your Wi-Fi network parameters are right.
